Deer and Dragon

At one place there lived a big dragon in a very dense forest. Apart from being a giant, he was also very cruel. He did not know how many animals had become his morsel. Once that python came out of its burrow in search of prey, all the animals hid.

When the dragon did not get anything, he got very angry and started crying loudly. At the same time, a deer had hidden its newborn baby from the leaves and went in search of food. With the loud hiss of the dragon, the dry leaves started flying and the newborn baby of the deer appeared. When the deer child saw the dragon, he started screaming loudly. The sight of the dragon also fell on the deer child and the dragon swallowed it. By the time the deer had also reached there, but she could not save him and kept watching her baby becoming a morsel of the dragon.

Shocked by the incident, the deer was anxious to take revenge on the python. The deer went to her friend mongoose and said that my child has been swallowed by a dragon and I want to take revenge on him. I want your help in this work.

The mongoose said in a sad voice - "Friend, if it was my thing, I would have cut it into pieces. But I am a small fat mongoose, which cannot hunt a python. But I must help you to take revenge on him. There are some ants, who are my friends, they can help us to take revenge on snakes.

Hearing the mongoose, the deer said - "When you are not able to do this work when you are so big, then what will the little ants do?"

The mongoose said - "Don't think so, she is small but her organization is her great strength."

The mongoose reached the ants with the deer and told the whole story of the dragon to the chief of the ants. The ants agreed to help the deer. He asked the mongoose and the deer to somehow bring the python to a sharp stone place near our hole.

The next day, the mongoose went and started speaking his dialect at the same sharp stone place. Hearing the voice of his enemy, the dragon came out of his burrow and attacked the mongoose to make him his morsel. The mongoose went out through the same narrow path. When the dragon passed after him through that narrow path, his body was badly peeled. At the same time the army of ants attacked him. The ants started biting the bare skin of his body and the dragon died there in agony.

Camel's Pride

It is a matter of ancient times, when there lived a weaver in a village. He was very poor. One year when there was a famine in the village, all the people of the village left the village and started moving here and there. Along with the weaver also started going.

On the way the weaver found a camel, which was very ill, the weaver took the camel with him and came back to his home. He fed the camel good food and took great care of it, so that camel became absolutely right. After some time the camel gave birth to a child.

What was then, the days of the weaver started changing. At the same time a painter came to the village who used to take camel's hair to make his painting and in return he gave some money to the weaver. He also started earning some money by selling camel milk. Gradually, the weaver's earnings started increasing and he kept giving credit to the camel, due to which the camel's ego also increased.

Thus the days of the weaver began to pass. One day the painter came again to his village and gave a lot of money to the weaver in exchange for camel hair because his painting was sold for a good price. With that money, the weaver bought more and started trading in camels.

Gradually the weaver became a big trader of camels. He considered the little camel as the reason for his progress and used to pamper him more than the rest of the camels. He had also tied a bell around the neck of the little camel. When other camels went to graze in the forest, that small camel also accompanied them, but out of ego, he grazed only at a distance from the other camels.

When the other camels asked the little camel about this, he said that I am special to my master, so I do not want to live together with you. From a hill in the same forest, a lion used to see camels grazing every day. One day, taking a chance, he attacked the little camel and killed it.

Sweet fruit of hope

In the past, when Brahmadatta ruled in Kashi, the Bodhisattva was born in the family of a rural Brahmin. When he grew up, he went to Takshashila and studied and then after taking sannyas, he went to the Himalaya mountain and became engrossed in austerity and meditation.

At that time a soul fell in the heaven of thirty-three categories of deities and took birth in the form of a girl inside a lotus in the middle of a lake. Bodhisattvas used to go to bathe in that lake every day. He saw that all the other lotuses wither and fall off, but one continues to grow. When he went to him out of curiosity, he saw a supremely beautiful girl in him. The Bodhisattva took her to his hut and followed her like a daughter.

Indra saw that the Bochisattva would be in trouble for the girl, so he came near her and said, "Lord, what order do I have?" The Bodhisattva said, "Make proper arrangements for this girl." On the orders of Indra, a beautiful palace came down from the sky, which had all kinds of pleasures and that girl started living in it. Bodhisatva got this girl only after having doubts about the lotus, so he named her as Aapkheb.

One day a woodcutter came to the ashram of a Bodhisattva to have darshan. There he saw that girl. This woodcutter was a resident of Kashi. Going to his city, he told the king everything. Hearing the magnificence of the girl's form, the king took the army and went to get her. The woodcutter told the way.

Going to the ashram of the Bodhisattva, the king bowed to him. After talking with them and listening to the sermon, when the king started walking, at that time he asked the Bodhisattva about that girl. The Bodhisattva said, "She is my daughter." The king requested, "He is an ascetic! Staying in the forest, girls cannot be nurtured properly. If you give this sweet girl to me, I will be happy in every way. I can do.''

The Bodhisattva said, "O king! If you know the name of this girl, then tell me. I will hand it over to you." The king, on the advice of ministers, presented lists of beautiful names, but the Bodhisattva rejected them all saying "it is not".

For a year, the king along with his army remained hopeful on that cold snowy Himalayan mountain. His elephants, horses and many humans died because of the cold. Some were eaten by wild animals. Some got diseased and some became infirm due to lack of good food.

Now the king was very disappointed and started preparing to return. He was walking under the palace so that if the girl looked through the window, she would tell him about going to his lot. The same thing happened. When the girl came to the window, she told her about her journey.

At that time the girl narrated the above story, listening to which she again stayed for a year. In Nandan Kanan there is a creeper named Ashavati, which bears fruits after one thousand years. The gods wait patiently for those fruits. O king! Have hope! The fruit of hope is sweet. A bird keeps hope and never accepts defeat. No matter how far the aspirant may be, but in the end he must win. It's king! Have hope! The fruit of hope is sweet.

Similarly he stayed in the ashram of the Bodhisattva for three years. Whenever he thought of walking in despair, that girl would tell him a story about hope and effort and he would stop. This time he was completely disappointed. He made a list of thousands of names and placed them in front of the Bodhisattva, but all of them were in vain. Knowing the name of that girl became a very difficult puzzle. So, deciding to return, he went in front of the window to say the last thing to the girl. When the girl came, she said, "My army is destroyed. My food stores have run out. I fear that my life may be destroyed. It is my pleasure to return."

The girl burst out laughing at the window.

Hey! You know my name. Then why are you getting so upset? The king said, "Where? which name?"

The girl said, "You took my name just now."

The king considered his words carefully and understood that the name of this girl could be nothing but apprehension. He was pleased and came to the Bodhisattva and told the name of his daughter. The Bodhisattva said, "The moment you came to know her name, at that very moment my daughter was surrendered to you according to my word. Go take it and live your life happily."

The king went to the palace and in no time came with apprehension and bowed down to the Bodhisattva and after receiving his blessings returned to Kashi with his remaining companions. He had got the fruits of hope.

Effect of Truth

Once a Bodhisattva was born in the house of a very wealthy merchant in Banaras during the reign of Brahmadatta. The merchant had two other sons. One day, taking advantage of the holiday, all three of them went to the famous lake of the city to collect lotus flowers.

The protector of the lake was Nakata. The lotus was to be obtained from him. The eldest brother went to Nakte to please him and said to him, "Mustache and beard grow again even after being cut again and again. Your nose will also come back in the same way. Please give us a lotus flower."

Hearing this, Nakta was very upset and refused to give him a lotus flower.

After this the other brother also tried to get lotus from him elsewhere.

Another said, "Seeds are sown in Hemant, which germinate after many days. May your nose grow like this. Please give us a lotus flower."

But Nakte refused him too.

After this the Bodhisattva approached him and said, "He is a fool who thinks that the lotus will be obtained in this way. No matter what one says, but the severed nose does not come again. Look, I tell you the truth. Please. Give me only one lotus."

Nakte was influenced by the Bodhisattva's truth. He said brother, you seem to be true to me, but both your brothers are spoiled at all. They are resorting to lies to get the lotus flower. Having said this, he placed a large bunch of blue lotus flowers on the bodhisattva's hand.

Don't be a Poison Tree

Once a Bodhisattva was born in a Brahmin family in the north, when Brahmadatta reigned in Kashi. When he grew up, he studied the Vedas and Shastras at Taxila. After the death of his father, the Bodhisattva left home and attained knowledge of the mysteries of the world by doing penance on the Himalaya Mountains. After many days he returned to the district and started living as a guest in the garden of the king of Kashi.

The king had great reverence for the Bodhisattva and used to visit the garden several times a day.

This king had a son, who was very angry by nature and everyone was saddened by his behavior. The king was very worried about this son. Finally they put him in the service of the Bodhisattva.

One day the Bodhisattva was walking in the garden with the prince. They saw a small neem sprout on the way. The Bodhisattvas stayed beside him. There were only two leaves in it.

The Bodhisattva said to the prince, "Just taste its leaf and see." The prince plucked a leaf and tasted it and immediately spit it out because of its unbearable bitterness. But even after spitting, the effect of his bitterness did not go from his mouth.

On being asked by the Bodhisattva, the prince said, “O sannyasin, there is a lot of poison in this little plant. When it grows up, it will become a terrible poison tree." Saying this, he uprooted the plant and threw it aside and told the above story.

The Bodhisattva said, "You destroyed it out of fear that a small plant might grow into a terrible poison tree. In the same way, can the subjects of this kingdom not deprive you of the kingdom, fearing that by becoming the king, you will plague him with your anger and cruel nature? Take a lesson from this incident and prove yourself to be a kind and benevolent prince.

The teachings of the Bodhisattva changed the heart of the cruel king. On getting the kingdom of his father, he did many works of public interest, due to which all the people of Kashi started loving him like life. At that time this Lichchavi prince was the only cruel prince, Anand was the king of Kashi and I was a sanyasi.

Greedy Merchant - Jataka Katha

Once a Bodhisattva was born in the house of a Bania in Varanasi. Seeing the symptoms, scholars named him Pandit. When they grew up, they started commerce by making each other Bania their partner. The name of this second Bania was Atipandit. The question of distribution of wealth arose when there was a lot of profit in commerce.

The pundit said that whatever is there, we divide it into two equal parts because we both have the same principal and we have done the work equally. But Atipandit was not accepting this argument. He was saying, "If both are given equally, then what will be the difference between a pandit and an ati pundit. I am atipandit, so I should get double the money from the pundit."

The dispute went on and no decision could be taken. Atipandit came home and advised his aged father. Look, Father, I will make you sit in the hollow of a tree. When I take that pundit under the tree and call, "O tree god! How is it proper to divide the wealth between the pandit and the atipandit? Then you change your voice and say that it is appropriate for the atipandit to get double the pandit."

The father was also greedy. He accepted the son's proposal and hid in the hollow of the tree and sat down. Here Atipandit went and said to the pundit, "Brother! Look, there is a tree god outside this village, who always takes the right decision and tells the right thing. Why don't we get our disputes decided by him."

The pundit did not believe in the words of the deity of the tree, but he was certainly curious about this matter. So he accepted the offer. News spread in the city. Many people gathered to see the miracle of the tree god. Standing under the tree, Atipandit said, "Tree Dev! My name is Atipandit. I do commerce, in which a person named Pandit is my partner. Please decide how the money should be divided between us." ?"

There was silence for a while. After that the word of a man erupted from the tree. O townspeople! You should not fight amongst yourself and should not hesitate to give whatever part you have. I give the verdict that Pandit should get one part and Atipandit should get two parts. Many people were surprised to see the tree speaking like a human.

The pundit said that if it is the decision of the deity, then I will have no objection in accepting it, but whether the speaker is a deity or a man, I will get it decided by setting fire to the tree. Suddenly, the hollow of the tree was filled with grass and set on fire. The poor old man got frightened and removed the grass from that hollow and came out of the hollow of the tree with half burnt hands and feet and the truth came out in front of everyone. Thus the Pandit's attempt to cheat his companion failed.

Brahmin and Ungrateful King

In a previous birth, a son of an evil nature was born in the house of Kashiraj. People called him a wicked Kumar. He didn't treat anyone well. He used to humiliate people and cause various kinds of troubles. The people and the employees were all dissatisfied with him.

One day the Ganges was flowing. The evil Kumar moved away that "At this time take me to the middle of the stream and take a bath." The servants tried to bring him to the middle of the stream. Seeing the overflowing stream, the servants thought this was a good opportunity to get rid of this wicked man and left him there and returned. The wicked Kumar cried and ran away with the swift current of the river.

On being asked by the king, the servants advised and replied that Kumar was not at the ghat, he must have returned due to rain. The king appointed many acolytes to search for Kumar. Here the wicked Kumar saw a big lump flowing in the river, he tried and sat on it and started flowing with the stream.

After going a short distance, a snake, a mouse and a parrot also took shelter on the same wood to protect themselves from the river. The evil Kumar was already frightened by the fear of drowning in the stream. Now seeing the poisonous snake beside him, he became even more frightened and started shouting louder.

At that time Lord Bodhisattva was born in a Brahmin family and lived in a hut on the banks of the Ganges. Hearing the cries of human beings, he went to the shore of the confluence and, sitting on the wood, saw the plight of those four beings. His heart was filled with kindness and by entering the stream, he saved the lives of all four of them by bringing that wood to the shore with great effort.

On recovery, the four beings left for their respective homes. While walking, the snake said - "O benefactor! I have 40 degrees of gold coins. I have been protecting them with great effort till today. If that money can be of use to you, you can take it whenever you want."

The mouse said - "O Merciful! I also have 30 coats of gold coins. You can take them whenever you want."

The parrot said - "Dev! I do not have gold, but I can give you red money."

The Bodhisattva asked everyone to know their whereabouts and sent them off. The evil Kumar did not like all this behavior of snakes, parrots and rats. He said in his mind - "This brahmin also considers me like these petty creatures. He has done me a great disgrace. I will make him taste it." In fact, he only told the brahmin that you must come to Kashi when I become the king.

After many days, the Bodhisattva again got the attention of these four friends. To test them, he first went to the serpent's abode and called. The snake came out and bowed to God and said that all my wealth is dedicated to you. God said - "It is not necessary now."

Similarly, after testing the mouse and the parrot, he found them firm on his word. Finally he went to Kashi to test the evil king. At that time, the king was roaming around the city on an elephant. Seeing from afar, he recognized that Brahmin. He did not want to talk to her, so that people could not know about his favor.

He ordered his soldiers to kill the Brahmin and drive him out of the city. When the Bodhisattva was being beaten up, the same story was coming out of his mouth that it is better to pull the flowing wood from the stream than to rescue an (ungrateful) man.

There were also some pundits in the crowd, they stopped the soldiers to understand its meaning and talked to the Bodhisattva. When the people came to know about the gratitude of the king, the people including the soldiers revolted, who were already troubled by the atrocities of the evil king. Killed and the Bodhisattva was placed on the throne of Kashi, the snake, the mouse and the parrot presented their own gift at the Bodhisattva.

The Story of the Hopeful King

Once a Bodhisattva was born in the kingdom of Kashi. He was named Seelav. After the death of his father, Silava ascended the throne of Kashi by the name of Mahasilava. Mahasilava was a very religious king. The people in his kingdom were very happy. No one was hungry. People hated sin and lived by virtue.

Once a minister was thrown out of the kingdom by the king for being surrounded by his rude conduct. The minister left Kashi and reached the kingdom of Kaushal and within a few days became the trustworthy of the king there.

One day the new minister said to Kaushalraj - Maharaj! The kingdom of Kashi is like a honeycomb full of honey. At this time it can be captured without special effort. The king at first decided not to get into this mess, but when the minister said that the state would be conquered without war, then he could not stop himself from the greed of getting a big kingdom.

Gradually, the people of Kaushal entered the border of Kashi and started looting. Mahasilav called them and asked - for what do you commit incest here? He replied - to get money. The king satisfied them by giving them money.

Kaushalraj was convinced that the king of Kashi did not want to fight. He took an army and attacked Kashi. The warriors of Kashiraj Mahasilava asked permission to fight, but the king refused. Kaushal Raj entered the Raj Bhavan without protest. I do not consider it proper to shed human blood for the sake of the kingdom - saying this Mahasilava vacated the throne.

The lowly minister said in the ear of Koshalraj - Maharaj, you too should not make the mistake of showing such generosity. By order of Kaushal Raj, Mahasilav and his ministers and warriors were buried alive in the crematorium. Only his head was left sticking out.

In the night, groups of jackals came to the crematorium. All the warriors cried when they came near him. Due to which the jackal ran away in fear. After a while the jackals returned again. Mahasilava stifled a strong jackal under his fist. The jackal tried hard to leave, but could not leave. In this tussle, the soil of the pit became loose and Maharaj Mahasilav tried to get out.

He released the jackal, which along with his companions fled into the forest. After this he also took all his companions out of the pits.

At the same time some people left a dead body in the crematorium, for the division of which a fight started between the two Yakshas. The Bodhisattva said to the Yakshas, if you do some work for us, then I will cut this dead body into exactly two parts. Yaksha agreed. The king cut the dead body in exactly two parts by cutting it with a khadak, due to which the Yakshas were satisfied.

After eating meat they asked the king - what do you order us to do?

King Mahasilava said to the Yakshas - "Take me to the royal palace very secretly and take all these warriors to their families." He immediately obeyed the order of the king.

The king of skill was sleeping soundly. In Mahasilav, he woke him up by pricking the tip of the sword in his stomach. Seeing Mahasilav in front, he was terrified. He thought that this godly king must have some supernatural powers. That's why he walked alone in the palace surrounded by the army and the guards without any problems.

He apologized by falling at the feet of the Bodhisattva. The next morning, after calling all the people, he punished that sly minister and left Kashi with his army and left for Kaushal.

Story of Greedy Thieves

There used to be a brahmin in the kingdom of Kashi, to whom he had a dharma mantra, through which he could make gems rain from the sky after getting a special combination of planetary constellations. At that time the Bodhisattva used to study with him as a disciple.

One day he was going to another state for some work with his disciple. While passing through the dense forests, he was surrounded by 500 professional thieves. These thieves did not kill anyone. He used to capture people and release them when they got a certain amount of money.

He stopped the master and sent the disciple Bodhisattva to fetch the money. While walking the Bodhisattva said that Gurudev will not be afraid, I will bring you money and get you free soon. After the departure of the disciple, the Guru looked at the calculations and found that the appropriate yoga for the rain of gems was on the same day. He thought why not satisfy these thieves by raining gems and get free myself.

He told the thieves, open my bond, I can get you a lot of gems. The thieves, obeying the orders of the Brahmin, untied their shackles and washed them after bathing them and smeared them with fragrant substances and garlanded them with flowers. Looking at the sky, anticipating the time, the Brahmin started chanting the mantra. In no time a golden cloud appeared in the sky and gems started raining on the earth.

The thieves collected the money and gave him great respect by asking for forgiveness from the Brahmin. After that they all went aside. After going a short distance in the forest, he found another group of thieves, who caught him. When asked why we have been arrested, he said, "We need money.

The thieves said that this brahmin who was with us rained wealth from the sky. The same Brahmin has given us this money too. Then those thieves immediately went and caught the Brahmin and asked him to shower money. Then the brahmin replied that the rain of wealth can happen only when a special yoga comes. You have to wait 1 year.

The thieves got angry. He said, "Why you wicked! He just rained money for those thieves and tells us to wait for 1 year." Saying this, a thief cut it into two sections with a sword.

Now the war started between both the thieves' parties. All the former thieves were killed. The thieves behind went into the forest with all the money. There was also a fight between those thieves over the distribution of money in the forest. They were all killed in a fierce battle. Only two thieves survived. Both the thieves buried all the money near a pond. One stood guard and the other started cooking rice, because both were very hungry.

But sin was deeply entrenched in both of their minds. Each was wishing to kill his companion and take all the wealth himself. After cooking the rice, the thief himself ate the food and mixed the poison with the rest and took it to his companion. Here the guard thief thought that this thorn should be destroyed immediately. So when his companion went near him with food, at that very moment he attacked him with a sword and killed him. The watchman was hungry, so he ate all the rice flat and died due to the effect of the poison.

When the Bodhisattva returned with money as a disciple, he found only heaps of dead bodies in the forest, and he told the story that "Those who seek wealth by unfair means perish." As the story of greedy thieves tells.

Sly Heron & Crab - Jatak Katha

Sly Heron and Crab

Once upon a time there were two ponds in the middle of a forest. One pond was small, the other pond was big. Due to the drying up of the water of the small pond in the summer season, the water creatures living in it started suffering. But they could not do anything. One day a heron came and stood in their midst. The fish asked, "Why did you come here from there?"

The heron said, "What to do, you can't see the misery. I live on the bank of the big pond on the other side of the forest, there is a lot of water. But your pond is drying up. The fish said," which is written in fate. It happens, that's what happens. Live or die there is no other place for us except this pond."

The heron said if you believe, I will pick them up one by one with my beak and leave them in that pond." The fish said - "You eat fish, how can we believe you?"

The heron was very cunning. She said, "If one of you comes with me to see that big pond, and if I bring it back to you and leave it, then you will surely believe me." Frankly, the sins I have committed throughout my birth, today I want to atone for some good deed. The fish was very straight. She agreed to his proposal. Taking a small fish in his beak, he showed him the big pond, in which the water was rising and the lotus was in bloom.

On coming back the little fish praised the pond very much. Hearing his words, all the fish agreed to go to that big pond. Now it has become a matter of heron. He started taking the fish to his nest by putting his beak in the small pond. Thus he and his family together ate all the fish. In the end one crab survived.

He said heron brother, I am not a fish. You will find it difficult to hold me in your beak. I will cling to your neck with the help of my many legs and after reaching the pond, I will slowly jump into the water. After eating so many fish, the greed of the heron had increased a lot. He thought that by walking in the nest, I will put it to rest. He agreed. The crab clung to the neck of the heron. After reaching the nest, the crab said, brother, where is the pond? The heron said, I will tell you everything now, just get down. The crab understood everything. He tightened the heron's neck with his legs so much that he lost his life.

(Magh Ka Mantra)

(Shukar ka Sahas - Jataka Katha)

(Shukar ka Sahas - Jataka Katha)

(Shukar ka Sahas - Jataka Katha)

Shukar ka Sahas - Jataka Katha

In ancient times, when Maharaja Brahmdutt used to rule in Kashi, some carpenters lived in a village near Kashi. One of them found a piggy fell in a pit while chopping wood in the forest. He took her out and brought her home and with great care began to raise and teach her.

(Shukar ka Sahas - Jataka Katha)

Slowly the pig grew and two sharp teeth started appearing outside its mouth. This young boar was very strong and soft-spoken. One day the carpenter decided to release him again in the forest with the idea of protecting him from the carnivorous humans and left him in the forest.

That strong young pig roamed in the forest and started searching for his habitable tubers and edible tubers, fruits. At the same time he found many pigs of his caste, but all of them looked sad and weak. When he asked them about their calamity, they told him that in this forest there lives a hypocritical hermit, who has brought a lion from somewhere.

They are tormented by the fear of lions. Because he kills some pigs and eats it himself and also feeds that sannyasi. The carpenter's pig gave protection to all of them and all of them, seeing the courage of that pig, accepted him as their leader. Now everyone started thinking together to face the same.

The boar leader taught war skills to all the followers and by making a shakata array, keeping weak children, females and old people in its middle, appointed young and strong pigs in the outer part. Thus he got ready to face the lion and waited for him.

The lion came on time. From the top of the mountain he saw the arrayed pigs below and roared fiercely. But when he saw that not a single boar ran out of that array in fear. Then seeing the courage of the pig, he did not dare to attack. Seeing the lion returning empty-handed, the hypocrite sanyasi told this story, "When you used to go hunting for boar in the forest, you always used to bring good meat. Today you are coming empty handed mourning. Your past Where did the might go?"

To this Singh replied, "At first seeing me, there used to be a stampede in the boar group. They used to run away in fear towards their caves. But they did not dare to stand up to face me like a victor."

The hypocritical ascetic cursed the lion and said, "There is no need to be afraid of them. When you jump with a fierce roar, his spit-pittti will disappear and he will start running here and there in panic. Singh asked his master. He acted as instructed. He went into the forest and roared from a high hill and jumped. The hill was very high. The lion jumped and fell on its slope and while rolling it fell into a deep pit below.

The lion's bone rib was shattered. At the same time the leader of the pigs attacked and killed him along with his companions. On Singh's death the leader said, "Now you have become fearless." The pigs said- Where now as long as that hypocritical monk is alive, the lion will not stop coming. He'll call someone again. The leader said well let's see him too.

Everyone started walking towards his cave. When it was too late while waiting for the lion, the hypocritical sannyasi murmured and went in search of him. On the way, when he saw a herd of pigs coming towards him, he was very frightened and ran and climbed a fig tree. Pig surrounded the tree. Now the leader told that everyone should dig the soil around the tree with their giggles. Roots will come out from this, then cut those joints also with teeth. This will weaken the tree. After this push the tree down. Due to which the hypocritical sannyasi will fall on the ground on his own. Everyone did the same and that hypocritical monk ended there.

Bodhisattvas used to reside in the hollow of a tree nearby at that time. Seeing the courage and skill of the pig, he wrote the story below.

"Victory to all the assembled castes. I myself have seen a wonderful organization that the boars once defeated Vanraj Kesari by the union power and combined dental power."

Shivi ka netra daan

Shivi ka netra daan

In ancient times, a king named Shivraj ruled in the country of Shiva. Bodhisattva was born in this Shiva clan as a prince. Prince Shiva studied in Taxila and after getting complete knowledge of the Vedas returned to the capital. Considering him worthy in all respects, his father appointed him the ruler of a province.

Later, after the death of his father, Prince Shiva took over the throne. The young king used to take great pleasure in giving charity. He built huge mandalas in his capital, where he himself used to present and donate, gradually his fame spread all over the world.

One day the king was thinking in his mind, "I have so far donated all such things, in giving of which I myself have not felt any special trouble. Now I should give some extraordinary donation - not from the outside thing, but to my body."

This is the resolve of the state expressed in the above saga - "If there is any gift which I have not given yet, even if it is a donation of eyes, then I will give it immediately with firmness and fearlessness."

Gradually people came to know about the king's wish, but people loved him very much. Therefore, there was no desire of anyone to ask for such a thing that the king would have to suffer.

Indra (Sakra) decided to test the king. He came to the king disguised as a blind brahmin and said, "O king, I am blind but you have both eyes. If you give me one, both of us will be one each." You can do your work with your one eyes.

The king got what he was waiting for. He called his royal physician and said, "Take out one of my eyes and put it on this Brahmin."

When the people of the city heard Shiva's decision to donate his eyes, everyone ran and tried to stop the king from donating his eyes, but he was firm on his word. In the end people started abusing Shakra.

The Vaidya took out one eye and placed it in the Brahmin's eye. After this, the Bodhisattva got the second eye removed and placed it in his other eye. Shiva's eye donation was a great sacrifice. Shakra was greatly affected by this great sacrifice. He said to the king, "O king, what is the reason for giving more charity than asking and making yourself completely blind and miserable? If you tell me this secret, I can return your eyes to you. I am Indra. "

The king said, "How is the deal to return the eyes. If there is any importance of my eye donation, then accept it only and do not ask anything."

Indra was more pleased with this modesty and the king got his eyes again.

Hearing the story, Lord Buddha said- "In this story Anand was Vaidya, Aniruddha was in the form and King Shiva was he himself."
