रहस्यमयी, विचित्र और भयानक प्राणीयों कि दुनिया में आगे बढ़ते हैं और आज बात करते हैं अमेरिका के विचित्र प्राणी "लिजार्डमैन (Lizard Man)" के बारे में। साउथ कैरोलिना की ली काउंटी के स्वाम्पलैंड क्षेत्र में इसे 29 जून 1988 को देखा गया था। इस विचित्र प्राणी की लंबाई 7 फीट 2 इंच थी। उसकी त्वचा का रंग हरा और आंखें चमकीली लाल हैं। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार बेहद ताकतवर इस प्राणी (लिजार्डमैन) के  हर पैर में तीन अंगूठे और हर हाथ में तीन उंगलियां थीं। कुछ के अनुसार उसकी पूंछ भी थी। वह दीवारों और सीलिंग पर चढ़ जाता था।

लिजार्डमैन का पहला किस्सा 29 जून 1988 को सुनने में आया था। 17 साल का क्रिस्टोफर डेविस रात दो बजे काम से लौट रहा था। स्केप और स्वैंप के पास पंहुचकर उसकी कार का टायर फट गया। टायर बदलने के लिए उसने कार सडक़ पर रोक दी।  कुछ ही देर बाद उसे अपने पीछे से दौडने कि आवाज़ सुनाई दी। उसने देखा खेतों में से एक विचित्र प्राणी उसकी तरफ़ दौडते हुआ आ रहा है। उसको देख कर डेविस डर के कारण कार मे छिप गया। डेविस के अनुसार वह काफी गुस्सें मे था। वह कार की छत पर चढ़ा, काफी खरोंचे मारी और साइड मिरर भी तोड दिया।

इसके अगले महीने लिजार्डमैन को देखने कि कई लोगों ने शिक़ायत की। सभी घटनाएं स्केप और स्वैंप के पाँच किमी व्यास के इलाके मे हूई। सभी की कार पर काटने और खरोंचने के निशान थे। इतने लोगो की शिकायत के बाद स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने सोचा कहीं कुछ तो गड़बड़ है। फिर भी उन्हें लगता था कि ये कोइ भालू हो सक्ता है। इसके बाद डेविस के दिए विवरण के अनुसार प्लास्टर से लिजार्डमैन के पन्जे बना के देखे गये। ये करीब 14 इंच के थे, जीव वैज्ञानिकों को ये निशान दिखाए गए। उनके अनुसार ऐसे फूटप्रिंट्स साइंस के रिकॉर्ड में नहीं थे। इसलिए इन्हें जांच के लिए एफबीआई को नहीं भेजा गया। 

साउथ कैरोलिना के मरीन रिसोर्स डिपार्टमेंट के प्रवक्ता जॉनी इवांस ने इसकी संभावना को खारिज कर दिया था। स्थानीय रेडियो स्टेशन ने इसे जिंदा पकड़ने वाले को दस लाख डालर के इनाम देने की घोषणा की। अगले साल गर्मियों के अंत तक लिजार्डमैन देखे जाने की खबरें कम हो गईं। अब भी बीच-बीच में लोग ऐसे दावे करते रहते हैं। 

अगस्त 2015 में अमेरिका के साउथ कैरोलिना शहर में ऐसी ही रहस्‍यमयी मानव छिपकली देखी गई है। जिस महिला ने इसे देखा था, उसने तुरंत इसकी फोटो खींच ली। खबरों की मानें तो अमेरिका के स्यूमटर शहर के पास रहने वाली महिला सारा बेरा ने इसे देखने को दावा किया है। सारा का कहना है कि, वह पिछले रविवार को अपने एक फ्रेंड के साथ चर्च गई हुई थी। तभी वहां उसने पेड़ों के पास एक अजीबो-गरीब आकृति के जीव की झलक देखी। छिपकली जैसा दिखने वाला यह विशालकाय जानवर पेड़ों के सहारे भाग रहा था। इसका आधा शरीर छिपकली और बाकी मानव जैसा था। सारा ने उसी समय इस रहस्यमयी जानवर को मोबाइल में कैद कर लिया। मानव छिपकली को लेकर कई वैज्ञानिकों में भले ही मतभेद हो लेकिन इसके मौजूद होने के प्रमाण हमेशा मिलते रहते हैं। अब वास्तव में कभी लिजार्डमैन जैसा कोइ प्राणी था या नहीं, है या नहीं ये आज तक एक रहस्य है।

Let's move ahead in the world of mysterious, strange and terrifying creatures and today let's talk about America's strange creature "Lizard Man". It was observed on June 29, 1988, in a swampland area of Lee County, South Carolina. The length of this strange creature was 7 feet 2 inches. His skin color is green and his eyes are bright red. According to reports, this extremely powerful creature (Lizard Man) had three thumbs on each foot and three fingers on each hand. According to some he also had a tail. He used to climb walls and ceilings.

The first episode of Lizardman was heard on June 29, 1988. 17-year-old Christopher Davis was returning from work at 2 am. His car's tire burst after reaching the scape and swamp. He stopped the car on the road to change the tyre. After some time he heard the sound of running from behind him. He saw a strange creature coming running towards him from the fields. Seeing him, Davis hid in the car out of fear. According to Davis, he was very angry. He climbed on the roof of the car, left a lot of scratches and also broke the side mirror.

The following month, many people complained about seeing Lizardman. All the incidents took place in a five km diameter area of scape and swamp. There were bite and scratch marks on everyone's car. After so many complaints, local officials thought something was wrong. Still they felt that it could be a bear. After this, Lizardman's claws were made from plaster according to the description given by Davis. These were about 14 inches long, these marks were shown to the biologists. According to him, such footprints were not in the records of science. Therefore they were not sent to the FBI for investigation.

Johnny Evans, a spokesman for South Carolina's Department of Marine Resources, dismissed the possibility. The local radio station announced a reward of one million dollars for anyone capturing it alive. By the end of the summer the following year, reports of Lizardman sightings diminished. Even now people keep making such claims from time to time.

In August 2015, a similar mysterious human lizard was seen in South Carolina city of America. The woman who saw it immediately took a photo of it. If reports are to be believed, Sarah Bera, a woman living near Sumter city of America, has claimed to have seen it. Sara says that she had gone to church with a friend last Sunday. Then there he saw a glimpse of a strange shaped creature near the trees. This huge animal that looked like a lizard was running with the help of trees. Half of its body was like a lizard and the rest was like a human. Sara captured this mysterious animal on her mobile at that very moment. There may be differences of opinion among many scientists regarding the human lizard, but there is always evidence of its existence. Now whether or not there actually ever was a creature like Lizardman or not is still a mystery.
