गोलकोंडा किला हैदराबाद

दुनिया में ऐसे कई रहस्य हैं, जिसकी गुत्थी आज तक कोई सुलझा नहीं पाया है। ऐसे रहस्य जो विज्ञान के लिए भी चुनौती बने हुए हैं। आज हम आपको ऐसे ही एक रहस्यमई जगह के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं। दरअसल यह एक रहस्यमई किला है। यह किला हैदराबाद के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थलों में से एक है, जिसका नाम गोलकोंडा किला है।

 यह किला देश के सबसे बड़ी मानव निर्मित झीलों में से एक हुसैन सागर झील से लगभग 9 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है, और इस क्षेत्र के सबसे संरक्षित स्मारकों में से एक है। इस किले का निर्माण कार्य 1600 दशक के आसपास में पूरा हुआ था, लेकिन इसे बनाने की शुरुआत 13वीं शताब्दी में काकतिया राजवंश द्वारा की गई थी। यह किला अपने वास्तुकला, पौराणिक कथाओं, इतिहास और रहस्यों के लिए जाना जाता है।

हैदराबाद से लगभग 11 किलोमीटर दूर 16वीं शताब्दी का निर्मित प्रभावशाली गोलकुंडा किला भारत के सबसे प्रसिद्ध किलो में से एक है। पूर्व गोलकुंडा साम्राज्य की राजधानी, यह किला इस क्षेत्र में गोलकुंडा राज्य शक्ति का केंद्र था और इसलिए इसे एक अभेद्य संरचना के रूप में बनाया गया था। इसका पूर्व गौरव और ऐश्वर्य आज भी इसके शक्तिशाली दीवारों और इसकी किलेबंदी में देखी जा सकती है।120 मीटर ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थिति यह किला वैसा प्रमुख सुविधाजनक स्थान था, जहां से दुश्मन पर दूर से नजर रखी जा सकती थी। आज यह किला इस ऊंचाई से पर्यटकों को आसपास के क्षेत्रों के व्यापक दृश्य प्रस्तुत करता है, जहां से कोई भी काफी दूर तक लगभग क्षितिज तक को देख सकता है। 

इस किले के निर्माण से एक रोचक इतिहास जुड़ा हुआ है। कहा जाता है कि एक दिन एक चरवाहे लड़के को पहाड़ी पर एक मूर्ति मिली थी। जब उस मूर्ति की सूचना तत्कालिक शासक काकतिया राजा को मिली तो उन्होंने उसे पवित्र स्थान मान कर उसके चारों और मिट्टी का एक किला बनवा दिया, जिसे आज गोलकोंडा किला के नाम से जाना जाता है। मुख्यत: यह किला सन 1687 में मुगल सम्राट औरंगजेब द्वारा जीते जाने के पहले तक एक अभेद्य दुर्ग था। यह किला अपने समय की इंजीनियरिंग का एक शानदार नमूना है और शायद इसलिए अनेक शक्तिशाली सम्राटों ने इस पर कब्जा करने की कोशिश की।

400 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर बने इस किले में 8 दरवाजे और 87 गढ़ हैं। फतेह दरवाजा इस किले का मुख्य द्वार है जो 13 फीट चौड़ा और 25 फीट लंबा है। इसके विशाल फाटकों पर हाथियों के प्रहार को रोकने के लिए लोहे की अनेक बड़ी-बड़ी किलें लगी हैं। किले की घेराबंदी के दौरान निर्बाध जलआपूर्ति को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए इसमें एक छिपी हुई पानी की पाइप लाइन भी बिछी है। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से किले में सबसे शानदार इसकी अनूठी ध्वनिकी (अकाऊस्टिक) है, जो यह सुनिश्चित करती है कि प्रवेश द्वार पर की गई हल्की सी आवाज भी पूरे परिसर में गूंज उठेगी। इसमें चार कलदार पुल हैं, जिसे हटाया जा सकता है, अनेक हाल और अस्तबल भी हैं। इस किले की शानदार भव्यता का अंदाजा यहां के दरबार हाल को देखकर लगाया जा सकता है जिसे हैदराबाद और सिकंदराबाद के दोनों शहरों को ध्यान में रखते हुए पहाड़ी की चोटी पर बनाया गया है। यहां पहुंचने के लिए 1000 सीढ़ियां चढ़नी पड़ती हैं।

ऐसा माना जाता है कि किले में एक रहस्यमय सुरंग भी है, जो किले के सबसे निचले भाग से होकर किले के बाहर निकलती है। कहा जाता है कि इस सुरंग को आपातकालीन स्थिति में शाही परिवार के लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर पहुंचाने के लिए बनाई गई थी, लेकिन अब तक इस सुरंग का कुछ पता नहीं चल पाया है। 

Golconda Fort Hyderabad

 This fort is one of the major tourist places of Hyderabad, whose name is Golconda Fort. The fort is located about 9 kilometers from Hussain Sagar Lake, one of the largest man-made lakes in the country, and is one of the best-preserved monuments of the region. The construction work of this fort was completed around 1600s, but its construction was started by the Kakatiya dynasty in the 13th century. This fort is known for its architecture, mythology, history and mysteries.

 The impressive 16th century Golconda Fort, about 11 km from Hyderabad, is one of the most famous forts in India. The capital of the former Golconda kingdom, this fort was the center of Golconda state power in the region and was therefore built as an impregnable structure. Its former glory and majesty can be seen even today in its mighty walls and fortifications. The fort, situated on a hill 120 meters high, was such a prime vantage point from which the enemy could be kept a close watch. Today, the fort offers tourists a sweeping view of the surrounding areas from this height, from where one can see quite a distance almost to the horizon.

 An interesting history is attached to the construction of this fort. It is said that one day a shepherd boy found an idol on the hill. When the information of that idol was received by the then ruler Kakatiya Raja, he considered it as a holy place and built a mud fort around it, which is today known as Golconda Fort. Primarily this fort was an impregnable fort until it was conquered by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1687. This fort is a splendid piece of engineering of its time and perhaps that is why many powerful emperors tried to capture it.

Built on a 400 feet high hill, this fort has 8 gates and 87 bastions. Fateh Darwaza is the main gate of this fort which is 13 feet wide and 25 feet long. Many big iron forts have been built on its huge gates to prevent the attack of elephants. It also has a hidden water pipeline to ensure uninterrupted water supply during the siege of the fort. The most striking feature of the fort from the point of view of security is its unique acoustics, which ensure that even the slightest sound made at the entrance will reverberate throughout the complex. It has four Kaldar bridges, which can be removed, there are also many halls and stables. The splendid grandeur of this fort can be gauged by looking at the Durbar Hall here, which has been built on a hilltop keeping in mind the two cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. One has to climb 1000 steps to reach here.

It is believed that there is also a mysterious tunnel in the fort, which exits the fort through the lowest part of the fort. It is said that this tunnel was built to bring the people of the royal family out safely in case of emergency, but till now nothing of this tunnel has been known.
