सच्ची मदद

एक नन्हा परिंदा अपने परिवार-जनों से बिछड़ कर अपने आशियाने से बहुत दूर आ गया था । उस नन्हे परिंदे को अभी उड़ान भरने अच्छे से नहीं आता था। उसने उड़ना सीखना अभी शुरू ही किया था। उधर नन्हे परिंदे के परिवार वाले बहुत परेशान थे और उसके आने की राह देख रहे थे। इधर नन्हा परिंदा भी समझ नहीं पा रहा था कि वो अपने आशियाने तक कैसे पहुंचे?

वह उड़ान भरने की काफी कोशिश कर रहा था पर बार-बार कुछ ऊपर उठ कर गिर जाता। कुछ दूर से एक अनजान परिंदा अपने मित्र के साथ ये सब दृश्य बड़े गौर से देख रहा था। कुछ देर देखने के बाद वो दोनों परिंदे उस नन्हे परिंदे के करीब आ पहुंचे। नन्हा परिंदा उन्हें देख के पहले घबरा गया फिर उसने सोचा शायद ये उसकी मदद करें और उसे घर तक पहुंचा दें।

अनजान परिंदा – क्या हुआ नन्हे परिंदे काफी परेशान हो? नन्हा परिंदा – मैं रास्ता भटक गया हूँ और मुझे शाम होने से पहले अपने घर लौटना है। मुझे उड़ान भरना अभी अच्छे से नहीं आता। मेरे घर वाले बहुत परेशान हो रहे होंगे। आप मुझे उड़ान भरना सीखा सकते है ? मैं काफी देर से कोशिश कर रहा हूँ पर कामयाबी नहीं मिल पा रही है। अनजान परिंदा – (थोड़ी देर सोचने के बाद )- जब उड़ान भरना सीखा नहीं तो इतना दूर निकलने की क्या जरुरत थी ? वह अपने मित्र के साथ मिलकर नन्हे परिंदे का मज़ाक उड़ाने लगा ।

उन लोगो की बातों से नन्हा परिंदा बहुत क्रोधित हो रहा था। अनजान परिंदा हँसते हुए बोला देखो हम तो उड़ान भरना जानते हैं और अपनी मर्जी से कहीं भी जा सकते हैं। इतना कहकर अनजान परिंदे ने उस नन्हे परिंदे के सामने पहली उड़ान भरी। वह फिर थोड़ी देर बाद लौटकर आया और दो-चार कड़वी बातें बोल पुनः उड़ गया।

ऐसा उसने पांच- छः बार किया और जब इस बार वो उड़ान भर के वापस आया तो नन्हा परिंदा वहां नहीं था। अनजान परिंदा अपने मित्र से- नन्हे परिंदे ने उड़ान भर ली ना? उस समय अनजान परिंदे के चेहरे पर ख़ुशी झलक रही थी। मित्र परिंदा – हाँ नन्हे परिंदे ने तो उड़ान भर ली लेकिन तुम इतना खुश क्यों हो रहे हो मित्र? तुमने तो उसका कितना मज़ाक बनाया। 

अनजान परिंदा – मित्र तुमने मेरी सिर्फ नकारात्मकता पर ध्यान दिया। लेकिन नन्हा परिंदा मेरी नकारात्मकता पर कम और सकारात्मकता पर ज्यादा ध्यान दे रहा था। इसका मतलब यह है कि उसने मेरे मज़ाक को अनदेखा करते हुए मेरी उड़ान भरने वाली चाल पर ज्यादा ध्यान दिया और वह उड़ान भरने में सफल हुआ। 

मित्र परिंदा – जब तुम्हे उसे उड़ान भरना सिखाना ही था तो उसका मज़ाक बनाकर क्यों सिखाया? अनजान परिंदा – मित्र, नन्हा परिंदा अपने जीवन की पहली बड़ी उड़ान भर रहा था और मैं उसके लिए अजनबी था। अगर मैं उसको सीधे तरीके से उड़ना सिखाता तो वह पूरी ज़िंदगी मेरे एहसान के नीचे दबा रहता और आगे भी शायद ज्यादा कोशिश खुद से नहीं करता । मैंने उस परिंदे के अंदर छिपी लगन देखी थी। जब मैंने उसको कोशिश करते हुए देखा था तभी समझ गया था इसे बस थोड़ी सी दिशा देने की जरुरत है और जो मैंने अनजाने में उसे दी और वो अपने मंजिल को पाने में कामयाब हुआ ।

अब वो पूरी ज़िंदगी खुद से कोशिश करेगा और दूसरों से कम मदद मांगेगा । इसी के साथ उसके अंदर आत्मविश्वास भी ज्यादा बढ़ेगा । मित्र परिंदे ने अनजान परिंदे की तारीफ करते हुए बोला तुम बहुत महान हो, जिस तरह से तुमने उस नन्हे परिंदे की मदद की वही सच्ची मदद है। 

सच्ची मदद वही है जो मदद पाने वाले को ये महसूस न होने दे कि उसकी मदद की गयी है. बहुत बार लोग सहायता तो करते हैं पर उसका ढिंढोरा पीटने से नहीं चूकते. ऐसी सहायता किस काम की?

परिंदों की ये कहानी हम इंसानो के लिए भी एक सीख है कि हम लोगों की मदद तो करें पर उसे जताएं नहीं। एक कहावत है नेकी कर दरिया में डाल।

True Help

A little bird got separated from its family and had come far away from its home. That little bird did not know how to fly yet. He had just started learning to fly. On the other hand, the family members of the little bird were very worried and were waiting for his arrival. Here even the little bird was not able to understand how it could reach its home?

He was trying hard to fly but again and again he would get up and fall down. From some distance, an unknown bird along with his friend was watching all this scene very attentively. After watching for some time, both the birds came closer to the little bird. The little bird first got scared after seeing them, then he thought that maybe they would help him and take him home.

Unknown Bird – What happened, little bird, are you very upset? Little Bird – I have lost my way and I have to return to my home before evening. I don't know how to fly yet. My family must be very worried. Can you teach me to fly? I have been trying for a long time but am not getting success. Unknown Bird - (after thinking for a while) - When you did not learn to fly, then what was the need to go so far? He along with his friend started making fun of the little bird.

The little bird was getting very angry due to those people's words. The unknown bird said laughingly, look, we know how to fly and can go anywhere as per our wish. Saying this, the unknown bird took its first flight in front of the little bird. He came back after some time, said a few bitter words and flew away again.

He did this five-six times and this time when he returned after flying, the little bird was not there. Unknown bird to its friend - The little bird has taken flight, hasn't it? At that time, happiness was visible on the face of the unknown bird. Friend Bird – Yes, the little bird has taken flight but why are you so happy, friend? You made so much fun of him.

Unknown Bird – Friend, you only paid attention to my negativity. But the little bird was paying less attention to my negativity and more to my positivity. This means that he ignored my joke and paid more attention to my flying trick and he succeeded in flying.

Friend Parinda – When you had to teach him to fly, why did you teach him by making fun of him? Unknown Bird – Friend, the little bird was taking the first big flight of its life and I was a stranger to it. If I had taught him to fly in a straightforward way, he would have remained under my favor for the rest of his life and would probably not have tried much on his own in the future. I had seen the hidden passion inside that bird. When I saw him trying, I understood that he just needed to be given a little direction and which I unknowingly gave him and he succeeded in achieving his goal.

Now he will try his whole life on his own and will ask less help from others. Along with this his self-confidence will also increase. The friend bird praised the unknown bird and said, You are very great, the way you helped that little bird is the true help.

True help is that which does not leave the person being helped feeling that he has been helped. Many times people help but do not fail to praise it. What is the use of such help?

This story of birds is a lesson for us humans too that we should help people but not express it.
