भानगढ़ का किला

हमारा देश भारत विविधताओं के साथ ही एक अद्भुत और रहस्यमई देश है। जहाँ भारत देश बेहद धार्मिक और आध्यात्मिक मान्यताओं से जुड़ा देश है, धर्म और देवी-देवताओं में आस्था है वहीं बुरी शक्तियों पर भी लोगों का उतना ही विश्वास है।

आज भी भारत देश में ऐसे अनेक तहखानों के बंद दरवाजे पड़े हैं, जिनमें कोई ताला नहीं है, कोई जंजीर नहीं है ! सिर्फ मंत्रों की ताकत से बंधे, अपने सीने में न जाने कितने अनजाने राज छुपाए हैं। कुछ इसी तरह की रहस्यमई किंवदंतियों के कारण भानगढ़ का किला हमेशा से चर्चा का विषय रहा है। भानगढ़ दुर्ग राजस्थान के अलवर जिले में सरिस्का राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के पास में स्थित है। इस किले का निर्माण राजा भान सिंह ने करवाया था।

भानगढ़ का किला दुनियाभर में मशहूर है। वहीं भानगढ़ को एशिया की सबसे डरावनी जगहों में से एक माना जाता है। कुछ लोग भानगढ़ के किले को भुतहा कहते हैं तो कई लोग इस जगह को खतरनाक बताते हैं।भानगढ़ के किले को देश का सबसे प्रेतवाधित जगह घोषित किया है। शाम होने के बाद किले मे रहना प्रतिबंधित है।

राजा भान सिंह ने अपने पूरे शासनकाल तक यहां सुख पूर्वक शासन किया था। उनके बाद उनके पुत्र भगवंत दास ने गद्दी संभाली। भगवंत दास के भी दो पुत्र हुए, जिनका नाम मानसिंह व माधो सिंह था। माधो सिंह के 3 पुत्र हुए - सुजान सिंह, छत्र सिंह और तेज सिंह। माधो सिंह के बाद छत्र सिंह वहां के राजा बने। इसके बाद छत्र सिंह के पुत्र अजब सिंह हुए जिन्होंने मानगढ़ से दूर अजबगढ़ (अपने नाम पर) बसाया। इसके बाद अजब सिंह के दो पुत्र हुए - काबिल सिंह और हरि सिंह। काबिल सिंह अजबगढ़ में ही रह गए, लेकिन हरि सिंह ने पुनः भानगढ़ को स्वीकार किया।

उसके बाद हरी सिंह के दो बेटों ने डर वस या लालच वस औरंगजेब के शासनकाल में इस्लाम स्वीकार कर लिया। लेकिन अभी भी भानगढ़ पर उनका अधिकार था। औरंगजेब के शासनकाल के बाद मुगल शक्ति कमजोर पड़ गई और सवाई जय सिंह जी ने भानगढ़ पर विजय हासिल करके अपना अधिकार जमा लिया। अभी तक भानगढ़ में सुख शांति और समृद्धि का राज्य था। भानगढ़ के रहस्यमई और निर्जन होने के पीछे मुख्य रूप से दो कहानियां मिलती हैं।

भानगढ़ के रहस्य के बारे में पहली कथा

प्रथम कथा के अनुसार भानगढ़ दुर्ग के समीप एक सन्यासी तपस्वी रहते थे। उनसे अनुनय विनय कर वहां दुर्ग बनाने की अनुमति तो मिल गई परन्तु इस शर्त पर कि किसी भी हालत में दुर्ग की परछाई उस ऋषि की कुटिया तक नहीं पहुंचनी चाहिए। प्रारंभ में ऐसा ही था, किंतु आगे चलकर उनके पुत्र भगवंत दास ने तपस्वी की बात को अनदेखा करते हुए 1683 में दुर्ग का पुनर्निर्माण करवाया और ऊंचाई का ध्यान नहीं दिया। ऊंचाई बढ़ने के कारण उसका बिंब उस ऋषि की कुटिया तक पहुंचने लगा। ऋषि ने क्रोधित होकर श्राप दे दिया कि," शीघ्र ही इस दुर्ग का विनाश हो जाएगा और यहां पर प्रेत आत्माएं वास करेंगी।" लेकिन यहां पर थोड़ा सा मतभेद है। यदि दुर्ग की ऊंचाई बढ़ जाने पर श्राप दिया गया तो फिर लगभग 200 साल तक वहां पर सुख समृद्धि का राज्य कैसे था ? इसलिए दूसरी कहानी अधिक महत्व रखती है।

भानगढ़ के रहस्य के बारे में दूसरी कथा

इस कथा के अनुसार भानगढ़ के इतिहास में अचानक अद्भुत सुंदरी और बुद्धिमान राजकुमारी रत्नावती का नाम आता है। राजकुमारी रत्नावती की सुंदरता की चर्चा पूरे भारत में हो रही थी। कहा जाता है कि रानी पद्मावती से भी अधिक सुन्दर राजकुमारी रत्नावती का रूप था। जो भी उन्हें देखता था मानो सम्मोहित हो जाता था।

एक बार राजकुमारी रत्नावती पास के बाजार में अपनी दासी के साथ घूमने गई थी। संयोगवश उसी बाजार में तांत्रिक सिंघवी पहुंच गया था, जो कि मानगढ़ की पहाड़ियों के दूसरी छोर पर अपनी कुटिया बनाकर तंत्र साधनाएं करता था। सिंघवी एक उच्च कोटि का तांत्रिक और तंत्र साधनाओं में पूरी तरह निपुण था।

मनस्वी और संयमी सिंघवी आज रत्नावती को देखते ही अपना सब कुछ न्योछावर करने के लिए तैयार था। उसे बोध हो रहा था कि संसार में साधना से भी अधिक आकर्षक कुछ हो सकता है। यूँ तो तंत्र जगत की साधनाओं का नियम है सिद्धि हमेशा परोपकार के लिए की जाती है, लेकिन वह सब कुछ भूल कर बावरा हो गया।

रत्नावती एक पल के लिए उसकी हो जाए, बदले में उसकी जान भी चली जाए तो उसे कोई पछतावा नहीं होगा। सिंघवी सम्मोहित भाव से राजकुमारी के पीछे पीछे चलने लगा। कुछ देर बाद राजकुमारी एक इत्र की दुकान पर रूकती है, और कुछ खास प्रकार की इत्र को परखने के बाद अपनी दासी को इत्र लेने के लिए इशारा करती है। इत्र की सुगंध सिंघवी तक पहुंचती है और अचानक उसकी तन्द्रा टूटती है। राजकुमारी दासी के साथ इत्र लेकर चल देती हैं। तांत्रिक भी उनके पीछे-पीछे जाता है। राजकुमारी और उनकी दासियां राजमहल में प्रवेश कर जाती हैं और द्वारपाल तांत्रिक को प्रवेश नहीं करने देता और वहीं से तांत्रिक विवश होकर वापस लौट जाता है।

लौटने के बाद भी तांत्रिक राजकुमारी से मिलने की योजनाएं बनाता है, परंतु कोई भी मार्ग नजर नहीं आने पर एक दिन उसके मन में यह बात आती है की राजकुमारी को इत्र पसंद आया होगा तो वह इत्र लेने दोबारा वही आएंगी या अपनी दासी को भेजेंगी। इसी योजना को आधार बनाकर वह प्रतिदिन इत्र की दुकान के आसपास चक्कर लगाता है और एक दिन उसे राजकुमारी की दासी दिख जाती है।

तांत्रिक ने उस दासी को अपने तंत्र विद्या से सम्मोहित कर वैसा ही इत्र बोतल में भरकर दे देता है। तांत्रिक ने उस इत्र में काला जादू किया होता है, जिसके प्रभाव से जो भी इस इत्र का प्रयोग करेगा तांत्रिक की ओर खिंचा चला जाएगा। तांत्रिक के मंत्र के प्रभाव में दासी सीधे राजमहल जाती है और राजकुमारी को वह इत्र दे देती है।

अगले दिन जब राजकुमारी स्नान करके सिंगार करने के लिए आती हैं, तो सीसी को हाथ में उठाते ही उन्हें कुछ आशंका होती है, जिसके कारण वह इत्र को बाहर बड़े पत्थर पर फेंक देती हैं, जिससे सीसी टूट कर बिखर जाती है। इत्र के काले जादू के प्रभाव से वह पत्थर तांत्रिक सिंधवि की ओर खिंचा चला जाता है। विशाल का चट्टान को अपनी कुटिया की तरफ आते देख तांत्रिक समझ जाता है, लेकिन उसके पास इतना समय नहीं रहता है कि वह अपना बचाव कर सके। क्रोधवस अपनी सारी शक्तियों को समेट कर वह श्राप देता है कि जिस राजकुमारी ने अपने सौंदर्य के अहंकार में उसको ठुकराया है, उसका पूरा किला नष्ट हो जाए और वहां प्रेत आत्माओं का निवास हो।

लोगों का मानना है कि इस श्राप के कारण भानगढ़ का किला आज निर्जन और रहस्यमई बना हुआ है। यहां सिर्फ एक मंदिर के अलावा बाकी सब खंडहर दिखाई देता है। लोगों का कहना है की रानी रत्नावती आज भी प्रतिदिन वहां श्रृंगार के लिए आया करती हैं, जिनके पायल और चूड़ियों की झंकार आज भी सुनाई देती है।

वैसे तो इस किले का सच आज तक सामने नहीं आया है और ना ही कभी इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि की गई है कि किले में भूत है कि नहीं है। वैज्ञानिक भानगढ़ की कहानियों को खारिज करते हैं, लेकिन गांव के लोग अभी भी इस किले को भूतिया मानते हैं। स्थानीय निवासियों का कहना है कि उन्होंने एक औरत के चिल्लाने, चूड़ियां तोड़ने और रोने की आवाजें सुनी हैं। साथ ही उनका कहना है कि किले से संगीत की आवाजें भी आती हैं और कभी-कभी उन्हें परछाइयां भी दिखाई देती हैं।

कुछ लोगों को लगता है कि कोई उनका पीछा कर रहा है और उन्हें पीछे से थप्पड़ मार रहा है। वहां से अजीब सी गंध भी आती है, ऐसा स्थानीय निवासियों का कहना है। इन्हीं कारणों की वजह से सूर्यास्त के बाद किले के दरवाजे बंद हो जाते हैं और किले के अंदर जाना मना है। यह कहानियां मनगढ़ंत हैं या असल, इस बारे में तो कोई कुछ भी नहीं कह सकता, परन्तु ASI (The Archaeological Survey of India)(भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण) ने इस फोर्ट में सूर्यास्त के बाद और सूर्योदय से पहले प्रवेश पर प्रतिबंध लगाया है।

कुछ लोगों का कहना है कि यह एक बहुत ही सुंदर किला है, जिसे देखने के लिए कई पर्यटक आते हैं। इस जगह से जुड़ी भूतिया कहानी इस जगह को और भी भूतिया बनाती है। ये कहानियां यहां आने वाले पर्यटकों को उत्सुक करने के लिए बनाई गई हैं। हालांकि, यहां पर कई बरगद के पेड़ हैं, जिससे इस जगह को देखकर बहुत डर लगता है।

This fort was built by Raja Bhan Singh.

Bhangarh Fort is famous all over the world. Bhangarh is considered one of the scariest places in Asia. Some people call Bhangarh Fort haunted while many people call this place dangerous. Bhangarh Fort has been declared the most haunted place in the country. It is prohibited to stay in the fort after evening.

Raja Bhan Singh ruled here happily throughout his reign. After him his son Bhagwant Das assumed the throne. Bhagwant Das also had two sons, whose names were Mansingh and Madho Singh. Madho Singh had 3 sons – Sujan Singh, Chhatra Singh and Tej Singh. After Madho Singh, Chhatra Singh became the king there. After this, Chhatra Singh's son Ajab Singh was born who settled Ajabgarh (in his own name) away from Mangarh. After this Ajab Singh had two sons – Kabil Singh and Hari Singh. Kabil Singh remained in Ajabgarh, but Hari Singh again accepted Bhangarh.

After that, either out of fear or greed, two sons of Hari Singh accepted Islam during the reign of Aurangzeb. But he still had authority over Bhangarh. After the reign of Aurangzeb, the Mughal power weakened and Sawai Jai Singh ji conquered Bhangarh and established his authority. Till now there was a state of happiness, peace and prosperity in Bhangarh. There are mainly two stories behind Bhangarh being mysterious and uninhabited.

First story about the mystery of Bhangarh

According to the first story, a hermit ascetic lived near Bhangarh fort. After persuading him, he got permission to build a fort there but on the condition that under no circumstances should the shadow of the fort reach the sage's hut. It was like this in the beginning, but later his son Bhagwant Das, ignoring the ascetic's advice, got the fort rebuilt in 1683 and did not pay attention to the height. Due to increase in height, its image started reaching the hut of that sage. The sage got angry and cursed, "Soon this fort will be destroyed and ghosts will reside here." But there is a slight difference of opinion here. If a curse was given when the height of the fort increased, then how was there a state of happiness and prosperity for almost 200 years? Therefore the second story holds more importance.

Second story about the mystery of Bhangarh

According to this story, the name of the amazingly beautiful and intelligent princess Ratnavati suddenly appears in the history of Bhangarh. The beauty of Princess Ratnavati was being discussed all over India. It is said that Princess Ratnavati's appearance was even more beautiful than Queen Padmavati. Whoever saw him seemed to be hypnotized.

Once Princess Ratnavati had gone to the nearby market with her maid. Coincidentally, Tantrik Singhvi had reached the same market, who used to practice tantra practices by building his hut at the other end of the hills of Mangarh. Singhvi was a high class Tantrik and completely adept in Tantra practices.

Mindful and patient Singhvi was ready to sacrifice everything as soon as he saw Ratnavati. He was realizing that there could be something more attractive in the world than spiritual practice. Actually, the rule of the spiritual practices of Tantra world is that Siddhi is always done for charity, but he forgot everything and became crazy.

If Ratnavati becomes his for a moment, even if he loses his life in return, he will have no regrets. Singhvi started following the princess with a hypnotized feeling. After some time, the princess stops at a perfume shop, and after trying some specific types of perfume, she signals her maid to buy the perfume. The scent of perfume reaches Singhvi and suddenly his trance is broken. The princess leaves with the maid carrying the perfume. The Tantrik also follows him. The princess and her maids enter the palace and the gatekeeper does not allow the Tantrik to enter and from there the Tantrik is forced to return.

Even after returning, the Tantrik makes plans to meet the princess, but seeing no way in sight, one day it comes to his mind that if the princess liked the perfume, she will come back to get the perfume or will send it to her maid. Based on this plan, he goes around the perfume shop every day and one day he sees the princess's maid.

The Tantrik hypnotizes the maid with his knowledge of Tantra and fills the same perfume in a bottle and gives it to her. The Tantrik has done black magic in that perfume, due to which whoever uses this perfume will be attracted towards the Tantrik. Under the influence of the Tantrik's mantra, the maid goes straight to the palace and gives the perfume to the princess.

The next day, when the princess comes to bathe and adorn herself, as soon as she picks up the perfume, she feels some apprehension, due to which she throws the perfume on a big stone outside, due to which the perfume breaks and shatters. Due to the black magic of the perfume, the stone gets attracted towards Tantrik Sindavi. Seeing Vishal's rock coming towards his hut, the Tantrik understands, but he does not have enough time to defend himself. Enraged, he gathers all his powers and curses that the entire fort of the princess who rejected him because of her beauty should be destroyed and ghost spirits reside there.

People believe that due to this curse the fort of Bhangarh remains uninhabited and mysterious today. Apart from only one temple, everything else is in ruins here. People say that Queen Ratnavati still comes there every day for adornment, the jingle of her anklets and bangles can still be heard.

Although the truth of this fort has not been revealed till date nor has it ever been officially confirmed whether there is a ghost in the fort or not. Scientists dismiss the stories of Bhangarh, but the villagers still consider the fort to be haunted. Local residents say that they have heard the sounds of a woman screaming, bangles breaking and crying. They also say that sounds of music come from the fort and sometimes they also see shadows.

Some people feel that someone is following them and slapping them from behind. A strange smell also comes from there, local residents say. Due to these reasons, the doors of the fort are closed after sunset and going inside the fort is prohibited. No one can say anything about whether these stories are fabricated or real.

Some people say that this is a very beautiful fort, which many tourists come to see. The haunted story associated with this place makes this place even more haunted. These stories have been created to intrigue the tourists coming here. However, there are many banyan trees here, which makes one feel very scared after seeing this place.
