सौथदका श्री महा गणपति मंदिर : भगवान गणेश को समर्पित कर्नाटक के इस अनोखे मंदिर में नहीं है 'गर्भ गुड़ी'

गणेश को समर्पित कर्नाटक के अद्वितीय मंदिर में कोई 'गर्भ गुड़ी' नहीं है। सोथडका श्री महा गणपति मंदिर या महा गणपति क्षेत्र के नाम से प्रसिद्ध, दक्षिण कन्नड़ जिले के बेलथांगंडी तालुक में स्थित है। यह मंदिर नेत्रवती नदी के तट पर पतरामे से 6 किमी दूर है और जिले के कई सिद्धि क्षेत्रों में से एक है। यह बहुत लोकप्रिय मंदिर नहीं है, फिर भी मंदिर के बारे में कई दिलचस्प तथ्य हैं। 

सोथाडका श्री महा गणपति मंदिर कर्नाटक के बेहद अनोखे मंदिरों में से एक होने के कारण यहां स्थापित गणेश की मूर्ति की एक अजीब कहानी है। लगभग 800 साल पहले एक शाही परिवार द्वारा सम्मानित एक गणपति मंदिर को एक बार दुश्मनों ने नष्ट कर दिया था। मंदिर में मौजूद गणपति की सुंदर मूर्ति को दुश्मन नष्ट न कर सके, अतः वहां के चरवाहे मूर्ति को अपने साथ ले गए। 

चरवाहों के लड़के इस मूर्ति को भजन, कीर्तन, पूजा के साथ वर्तमान पूजा स्थल तक ले गए और मूर्ति को पेड़ के नीचे रख दिया। हर दिन वे प्रार्थना करते थे, भजन गाते थे और गणेश को नैवेद्य के रूप में कोमल ककड़ी चढ़ाते थे (कन्नड़ में साउथे, ककड़ी और अदका को संदर्भित करता है, एक विशाल मैदान को संदर्भित करता है)। तब से, इस तीर्थस्थल का नाम SOWTHADKA पड़ा। 

किसी मंदिर के बारे में सोचते हुए, हमें देवी या देवताओं की दिव्य मूर्ति और उनकी स्तुति में निर्मित एक सुंदर गर्भगृह की याद आती है। लेकिन सौथडका ऐसा कुछ नहीं है। इस जगह की विशिष्टता यह है कि महा गणपति बिना 'गर्भगुड़ी' (मंदिर संरचना) के खुले मैदान में हैं। मंदिर में वास्तव में किसी भी प्रकार का आश्रय या सुरक्षा नहीं है। मूर्ति के ऊपर कोई छत नहीं है। गणेश की मूर्ति के खुले में होने की परंपरा निश्चित रूप से मनोरंजक है और इसे अपनी तरह का अनूठा बनाती है। 

यह आकर्षक प्राकृतिक शांति से घिरा हुआ है और प्रार्थना करने के लिए चौबीसों घंटे खुला रहता है। हरी-भरी हरियाली और शांत वातावरण के विशाल विस्तार के बीच स्थित, यह एक स्वर्गीय निवास है और ऐसा लगता है कि श्री गणेश प्रकृति की गोद में आराम से बैठे हैं और प्रकृति के साथ अत्यंत पवित्रता और पवित्रता के साथ सीधे भगवान के आनंद का पूरे दिल से स्वागत कर रहे हैं। 

ऐतिहासिक मंदिर का सबसे दिलचस्प पहलू कहिये या फिर यह कह सकते हैं कि सौथड़का गणेश द्वारा मनोकामना की पूर्ति के लिए बस इतना करना है कि मंदिर परिसर में घंटी चढ़ाना है या घंटी बांधना है। मंदिर की यह आकर्षक संस्कृति स्वयं गणेश का पूर्ण आशीर्वाद है। इसलिए मंदिर को हमेशा हर जगह बहुत सारी घंटियों से सजाया जाता है, मुख्य रूप से उन भक्तों द्वारा चढ़ाया जाता है जिनकी विशेष इच्छा होती है।

इस मंदिर में महापूजा हर साल जनवरी के महीने में की जाती है। मंदिर सभी भक्तों को प्रसाद के रूप में भोजन भी परोसता है। इस मंदिर को बेलथांगडी का छिपा हुआ रत्न माना जाता है जो निश्चित रूप से सच है।

This temple is 6 km from Patrame on the banks of Netravati River and is one of the many Siddhi Kshetras in the district. It is not a very popular temple yet there are many interesting facts about the temple.

Sothadaka Sri Maha Ganapati Temple Being one of the most unique temples in Karnataka, the idol of Ganesha installed here has a strange story. About 800 years ago a Ganapati temple revered by a royal family was once destroyed by enemies. Enemies could not destroy the beautiful Ganapati idol present in the temple, so the cowherds there took the idol with them.

The shepherd boys carried this idol with bhajans, kirtans, pujas to the present place of worship and placed the idol under the tree. Every day they prayed, sang hymns and offered tender cucumber as Naivedya to Ganesha (Saute, in Kannada, refers to cucumber and Adaka, refers to a vast field). Since then, this pilgrimage site was named SOWTHADKA.

Thinking of a temple, we think of a divine idol of the deity or deities and a beautiful sanctum sanctorum built in their praise. But Sauthadka is nothing like that. The uniqueness of this place is that Maha Ganapati is in the open ground without 'Garbhagudi' (temple structure). There is really no shelter or protection of any kind in the temple. There is no roof over the statue. The tradition of the Ganesha idol being in the open is certainly amusing and makes it one of a kind.

It is surrounded by enchanting natural tranquility and is open round the clock for offering prayers. Situated amidst the vast expanse of lush greenery and serene surroundings, it is a heavenly abode and it seems that Shri Ganesha is sitting comfortably in the lap of nature and is directly experiencing the fullness of God's bliss with nature with utmost purity and sanctity. Say the most interesting aspect of the historical temple or else it can be said that all one has to do for the fulfillment of wishes by Sauthadka Ganesha is to offer or tie a bell in the temple premises. This attractive culture of the temple is the complete blessing of Ganesha himself. Mahapuja is performed in this temple every year in the month of January. The temple also serves food as Prasad to all the devotees. This temple is considered to be the hidden gem of Belthangady which is certainly true.

Ganesh Chaturthi in Southadka is a grand event and an extraordinary event in itself, this festival is celebrated with utmost love devotion and immense happiness and enthusiasm. The festival includes several rituals such as Prasad, Ganahoma of 108 coconuts, Panchamrit, Appa Kajjay, Payasa, Naivedya and 108 Siyala Abhishekam with fruits, followed by Mahapuja at 12:30 pm and Annasantharpan (lunch) to all the visiting devotees. serving) is included. at the festival.

Surprisingly, not many people from outside the district know about the existence of this temple, which is located just 20 km away from the pilgrimage town of Dharmasthala. It is located about 35 km from the very popular Kukke Subramanya Temple and is in the interiors of Kokkada. But this hardly known temple has an extremely powerful place to fulfill people's wishes, as the locals say and is definitely worth a visit.
