 शरद पूर्णिमा 

वर्ष के बारह महीनों में ये पूर्णिमा ऐसी है, जो तन, मन और धन तीनों के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ होती है। शरद पूर्णिमा, जिसे कोजागरी पूर्णिमा या रास पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं; हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार आश्विन मास की पूर्णिमा को कहते हैं। ज्‍योतिष के अनुसार, पूरे साल में केवल इसी दिन चन्द्रमा सोलह कलाओं से परिपूर्ण होता है। हिन्दू धर्म में इस दिन कोजागर व्रत माना गया है। इसी को कौमुदी व्रत भी कहते हैं। इसी दिन श्रीकृष्ण ने महारास रचाया था। मान्यता है इस रात्रि को चन्द्रमा की किरणों से अमृत झड़ता है। तभी इस दिन उत्तर भारत में खीर बनाकर रात भर चाँदनी में रखने का विधान है। हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार, इस वर्ष 2022 में शरद पूर्णिमा आज के दिन 9 अक्टूबर, दिन  रविवार को है। 

एक महीने में चंद्रमा जिन 27 नक्षत्रों में भ्रमण करता है, उनमें ये सबसे पहला है और आश्विन नक्षत्र की पूर्णिमा आरोग्य देती है।
केवल शरद पूर्णिमा को ही चंद्रमा अपनी सोलह कलाओं से संपूर्ण होता है और पृथ्वी के सबसे ज्यादा निकट भी। चंद्रमा की किरणों से इस पूर्णिमा को अमृत बरसता है।
आयुर्वेदाचार्य वर्ष भर इस पूर्णिमा की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं।
जीवनदायिनी रोगनाशक जड़ी-बूटियों को वह शरद पूर्णिमा की चांदनी में रखते हैं। अमृत से नहाई इन जड़ी-बूटियों से जब दवा बनायी जाती है तो वह रोगी के ऊपर तुंरत असर करती है।

"चंद्रमा मनसो जात:"
 वायु पुराण में चंद्रमा को जल का कारक बताया गया है। प्राचीन ग्रंथों में चंद्रमा को औषधीश यानी औषधियों का स्वामी कहा गया है।

ब्रह्मपुराण के अनुसार- सोम या चंद्रमा से जो सुधामय तेज पृथ्वी पर गिरता है उसी से औषधियों की उत्पत्ति हुई और जब औषधी 16 कला संपूर्ण हो तो अनुमान लगाइए उस दिन औषधियों को कितना बल मिलेगा।

शरद पूर्णिमा की शीतल चांदनी में रखी खीर खाने से शरीर के सभी रोग दूर होते हैं। ज्येष्ठ, आषाढ़, सावन और भाद्रपद मास में शरीर में पित्त का जो संचय हो जाता है, शरद पूर्णिमा की शीतल धवल चांदनी में रखी खीर खाने से पित्त बाहर निकलता है।

लेकिन इस खीर को एक विशेष विधि से बनाया जाता है। पूरी रात चांद की चांदनी में रखने के बाद सुबह खाली पेट यह खीर खाने से सभी रोग दूर होते हैं, शरीर निरोगी होता है।

शरद पूर्णिमा को रास पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं। स्वयं सोलह कला संपूर्ण भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से भी जुड़ी है यह पूर्णिमा। इस रात को अपनी राधा रानी और अन्य सखियों के साथ श्रीकृष्ण महारास रचाते हैं।

कहते हैं जब वृन्दावन में भगवान कृष्ण महारास रचा रहे थे तो चंद्रमा आसमान से सब देख रहा था और वह इतना भाव-विभोर हुआ कि उसने अपनी शीतलता के साथ पृथ्वी पर अमृत की वर्षा आरंभ कर दी।

गुजरात में शरद पूर्णिमा को लोग रास रचाते हैं और गरबा खेलते हैं। मणिपुर में भी श्रीकृष्ण भक्त रास रचाते हैं। पश्चिम बंगाल और ओडिशा में शरद पूर्णिमा की रात को महालक्ष्मी की विधि-विधान के साथ पूजा की जाती है। मान्यता है कि इस पूर्णिमा को जो महालक्ष्मी का पूजन करते हैं और रात भर जागते हैं, उनकी सभी कामनाओं की पूर्ति होती है।

ओडिशा में शरद पूर्णिमा को कुमार पूर्णिमा के नाम से मनाया जाता है। आदिदेव महादेव और देवी पार्वती के पुत्र कार्तिकेय का जन्म इसी पूर्णिमा को हुआ था। गौर वर्ण, आकर्षक, सुंदर कार्तिकेय की पूजा कुंवारी लड़कियां उनके जैसा पति पाने के लिए करती हैं।

शरद पूर्णिमा ऐसे महीने में आती है, जब वर्षा ऋतु अंतिम समय पर होती है। शरद ऋतु अपने बाल्यकाल में होती है और हेमंत ऋतु आरंभ हो चुकी होती है और इसी पूर्णिमा से कार्तिक स्नान प्रारंभ हो जाता है।

 In the Vayu Purana, the Moon has been described as the factor of water. In ancient texts, the moon has been called Aushadhish i.e. the lord of medicines.

According to the Brahmapuran, the medicinal effulgence that falls on the earth from Soma or the Moon, the medicine originated from it, and when the 16 phases of medicine are completed, then guess how much power will be given to the medicines on that day.

By eating kheer kept in the cool moonlight of Sharad Purnima, all the diseases of the body are removed. The accumulation of bile in the body during the months of Jyeshtha, Ashadha, Sawan and Bhadrapada, the bile comes out by eating kheer kept in the cool white moonlight of Sharad Purnima.

But this kheer is made with a special method. After keeping it in the moonlight for the whole night, eating this kheer on an empty stomach in the morning cures all diseases, makes the body healthy.

Sharad Purnima is also known as Ras Purnima. The sixteen arts themselves are also associated with the entire Lord Shri Krishna, this full moon. On this night, Shri Krishna along with his Radha Rani and other friends composes Maharas.

It is said that when Lord Krishna was creating Maharas in Vrindavan, the moon was watching from the sky and he became so emotional that he started raining nectar on the earth with his coolness.

In Gujarat, on Sharad Purnima, people make Raas and play Garba. In Manipur also, Shri Krishna devotees create raas. In West Bengal and Odisha, Mahalakshmi is worshiped with rituals on the night of Sharad Purnima. It is believed that those who worship Mahalakshmi on this full moon and stay awake throughout the night, all their wishes are fulfilled.

In Odisha, Sharad Purnima is celebrated as Kumar Purnima. Kartikeya, the son of Adidev Mahadev and Goddess Parvati, was born on this full moon. The fair complexion, attractive, beautiful Kartikeya is worshiped by unmarried girls to get a husband like her.

Sharad Purnima comes in a month when the rainy season is at its last. The autumn season is in its childhood and the Hemant season has started and from this full moon the Kartik bath begins.
