ज्वाला जी

माता ज्वाला के नाम से विश्वविख्यात स्थान ज्वाला जी (जो धूमा देवी का स्थान है) हिमाचल प्रदेश के शिमला धर्मशाला रास्ते पर पड़ता है। वहां मंदिर के अंदर पहाड़ की चट्टान से विभिन्न स्थानों से ज्योतियां बिना दिया बत्ती के स्वयं प्रज्वलित रहती हैं। इसलिए इसे ज्वाला माता के नाम से पुकारा जाता है।

इस स्थान पर यूं तो श्रद्धालु जन नित्य ही चमत्कारी ज्योतियों के दर्शनार्थ आते हैं, मगर हर वर्ष आश्विन मास के नवरात्री में भारी भीड़ रहती है तथा अष्टमी के दिन श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ पुर्ण चरण पर रहती है।

अलौकिक ज्योतियां

ज्वाला जी की अलौकिक ज्योति या कभी कम या ज्यादा भी रहती हैं जो अधिक से अधिक 14 तथा कम से कम तीन होती हैं।

नव ज्योतियां अलग-अलग सुख प्रदान करने वाली हैं जैसे कि चांदी के जाले में सुशोभित पहली मुख्य ज्योति का पावन नाम महाकाली है जो मुक्ति-भक्ति देने वाली हैं। इसके नीचे दूसरी ज्योति भंडार भरने वाली महामाया अन्नपूर्णा की हैं। दूसरी ओर शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाली चंडी माता की ज्योति हैैं। चौथी ज्योति हिंगलाज भवानी की है जो समस्त व्याधियों का नाश करने वाली हैं।

पांचवीं ज्योति शोक से छुटकारा देने वाली विंध्यवासिनी की हैं, छठी ज्योति धन-धान्य देने वाली महालक्ष्मी की और सातवीं ज्योति भी कुंड में ही विराजमान विद्या दात्री सरस्वती की हैं जबकि आठवीं ज्योति संतान सुख देने वाली अंबिका तथा आयु व सुख प्रदान करने वाली परम-पावन नवम अंजना ज्योति भी यहीं विराजमान हैं। श्रद्धालु जन इन सबके दर्शन व पूजा करते हैं।

Jwala ji

The world famous place Jwala Ji (which is the place of Dhuma Devi) by the name of Mata Jwala falls on Shimla Dharamshala road in Himachal Pradesh. Supernatural lights

The supernatural light of Jwala ji or sometimes more or less also remains which is at most 14 and at least three.

The new lights are going to give different happiness, like the holy name of the first main light, adorned in a silver web, is Mahakali, who gives liberation-bhakti. Below this is Mahamaya Annapurna, who fills the second light store. On the other hand, Chandi, who suppresses enemies, is the light of Mother. The fourth light is of Hinglaj Bhavani who is the destroyer of all diseases.

The fifth light is of Vindhyavasini, who gives relief from grief, the sixth light is of Mahalakshmi, who gives wealth and grain, and the seventh light is also of Vidya Datri Saraswati sitting in the pool, while the eighth light is of Ambika, who gives children happiness and Param, who bestows age and happiness. The holy ninth Anjana Jyoti is also seated here. Devotees visit and worship all these.

ज्योतिषीय मान्यताओं के अनुसार देवी कालरात्रि शनि ग्रह को नियंत्रित करती हैं। देवी की पूजा से शनि के बुरे प्रभाव कम होते हैं।
