चांदनी (Crepe Jasmine)

आज आपको एक और खूबसूरत फूल से मिलवाते हैं, जो एक ही रंग की होती है, सफेद रंग की, बेहद खूबसूरत। चांदनी (Crepe Jasmine) फूल चांदनी सी चमकती है, इसीलिए शायद इसका नाम चांदनी पड़ा। चांदनी (Crepe Jasmine) फूल को और भी कई नामों से जाना जाता है। कुछ लोग इसे जूही का फूल कहते हैं, तो कुछ जगहों पर चांदनी (Crepe Jasmine) का फूल भी कहा जाता है। दक्षिण भारत में महिलाएं जूही के फूल का गजरा लगाती हैं। वैसे तो पूरे भारत देश में गजरा लगाने का प्रचलन है, परंतु दक्षिण भारत में यह ज्यादा उपयोग में लाई जाती है। यह खूबसूरत और खुशबूदार होने के साथ-साथ औषधीय गुणों से भी परिपूर्ण है।

चांदनी क्या है?

चांदनी का पौधा 2 से 3 मीटर ऊंचा, चिकना, सदा हरा भरा रहने वाला होता है। चांदनी के पौधे के तने अत्यधिक चमकीले, भूरे रंग के होते हैं। इसके पत्ते चिकने एवं चमकीले हरे रंग के होते हैं। इस पौधे पर सफेद रंग के फूल आते हैं, जो सुगंधित होते हैं। इसके फूल दो प्रकार के होते हैं - पांच पंखुड़ियों वाले तथा दो पंक्तियों में व्यवस्थित पांच पंखुड़ियों से युक्त।

सिर दर्द होने पर

चांदनी के पौधे की पत्तियों को तोड़ने से निकलने वाले दूध को तेल में मिलाकर मस्तक पर लगाने से सिर दर्द और आंखों के दर्द में आराम मिलता है।

आंख में होने वाली सूजन तथा लालिमा के लिए

चांदनी के फूल तथा कलियों को पीसकर आंखों के बाहर चारों तरफ लगाने से आंखों में होने वाला दर्द, सूजन और आंखों के लाल होने की परेशानी में लाभ होता है।

दांत दर्द में

चांदनी की जड़ को चबाने से दातों के दर्द में आराम मिलता है।
चांदनी की जड़ के चूर्ण को मंजन की तरह दातों पर लगाने से दांतों के कीड़े लगने की समस्या और कीड़ों के कारण होने वाले दर्द में आराम मिलता है। इससे मसूड़ों से खून निकलना भी बंद होता है।

पेट में कीड़े होने पर

चांदनी की जड़ की छाल को पीसकर पेस्ट बना लें। इसे 1 से 2 ग्राम की मात्रा में सेवन करने से पेट के कीड़े मर जाते हैं।

उच्च रक्तचाप की समस्या

चांदनी के पत्ते का काढ़ा बनाकर पीने से उच्च रक्तचाप में लाभ होता है।

दस्त की समस्या

5 मिलीलीटर जूही के पत्ते के रस को पीने से दस्त बंद हो जाते हैं।

त्वचा की समस्या

चमेली के फूलों में रोपण यानी हीलिंग का गुण होता है, जिससे बाहरी तौर पर त्वचा पर लगाने से त्वचा की समस्याओं में आराम मिलता है।
चांदनी के फूल के रस को त्वचा पर लगाने से जलन दर्द और सूजन में आराम मिलता है।

घाव को सुखाने में

चांदनी के फूल चांदनी के पौधों से प्राप्त दूध तथा पत्तों को पीसकर घाव पर लेप करने से घाव जल्दी सूख जाते हैं।
