हनुमान वाटिका (उड़ीसा के सुंदरगढ़ जिले का मुख्य आकर्षण)

उड़ीसा के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थलों में सुंदरगढ़ जिले के वेदव्यास, वैष्णो देवी मंदिर के साथ हनुमान वाटिका का नाम भी शामिल है। हनुमान वाटिका में 74 फीट 9 इंच ऊंची हनुमान प्रतिमा आकर्षण का केंद्र है। सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह है कि हनुमान वाटिका में देश के प्रख्यात मंदिरों के ढांचे में ही 21 मंदिरों का निर्माण किया गया है, तथा देवी देवताओं की पूजा की जा रही है। हर दिन यहां बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंचकर पूजा अर्चना के साथ सौंदर्य का आनंद लेते हैं।

इस्पात नगरी राउरकेला में हनुमान वाटिका को पर्यटन स्थल का रूप देने की परिकल्पना 1992 में की गई थी, तब से इसका निर्माण शुरू किया गया। करीब 13 एकड़ क्षेत्र में देश के प्रमुख मंदिरों को उसी ढांचे में बनाने व देवी देवताओं की पूजा करने का अवसर भक्तों को देने के साथ-साथ यहां पर्यटकों को हर तरह की सुविधा देने की योजना भी बनाई गई। संस्थापक पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री दिलीप राय, ट्रस्टी आरपी गुप्ता, निहार राय, गौरीशंकर अग्रवाल, नंदू अग्रवाल समेत अन्य लोगों के प्रयास से इसे भव्य रूप देने का काम शुरू हुआ।23 फरवरी 1994 में आधुनिक उड़ीसा के निर्माता कलिंग वीर बीजू पटनायक ने इसका अनावरण किया। हालांकि, जब यह प्रतिमा बनकर तैयार हुई, तब यह देश की सबसे ऊंची हनुमान प्रतिमा थी, लेकिन जून 2003 में आंध्र प्रदेश के विजयवाड़ा में 134 फीट ऊंची हनुमान प्रतिमा का  निर्माण किया गया है।

हनुमान वाटिका राउरकेला में सोमनाथ मंदिर, पार्वती मंदिर, मां वैष्णो देवी मंदिर, दुर्गा, संतोषी मंदिर, साईं मंदिर, चर्चिका मंदिर, राधा कृष्ण मंदिर, मां विमला मंदिर, गणेश मंदिर, परशुराम मंदिर, समलेश्वरी मंदिर, मां काली मंदिर, द्वादश शिवलिंग मंदिर, विडला मंदिर,  लक्ष्मी मंदिर शारदा मंदिर, श्री राम मंदिर, हनुमान मंदिर समेत कुल 21 मंदिर देश के प्रख्यात मंदिरों के ढांचे में ही तैयार किया गया है। जय हनुमान समिति चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट की देखरेख में मंदिरों में पूजा अर्चना की जाती है। सुबह से देर शाम तक यहां भक्तों का आना जाना जारी रहता है। जब कभी लोगों को समय मिलता है, परिवार के साथ है यहां आकर शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में समय गुजारते हैं।

मंदिर प्रबंधन की ओर से हनुमान वाटिका में भी पुरी के जगन्नाथ मंदिर की तरह अभड़ा भोग का प्रबंध किया गया है। हर दिन यहां सुलभ कीमत पर कूपन लेकर भगवान का प्रसाद प्राप्त करना होता है। पंक्ति में बैठ कर भक्त दोपहर के समय चावल, दाल, बेसर, खीर, चटनी आदि का सेवन कर सकते हैं। कूपन के जरिए घर के लिए भी प्रसाद लिया जा सकता है। प्रसाद का स्वाद भी पुरी के प्रसाद के समान होने के कारण भक्तों में काफी पसंद किया जाता है। यहां पर्यटकों के ठहरने के लिए भी सुलभ दर पर कमरे उपलब्ध हैं। शादी विवाह एवं अन्य कार्यक्रम के लिए कल्याण मंडप का भी निर्माण कराया गया है।
