 आज एक ऐसे अनूठे मंदिर की चर्चा करते हैं, जहां शिव जी ने पांडवों को दर्शन दिए थे। कुछ लोगों के लिए यह एक नई जानकारी होगी।

गुजरात के भावनगर में कोलियाक तट से 3 किलोमीटर अंदर अरब सागर में स्थित है, यह निष्कलंक महादेव मंदिर। यहां पर अरब सागर की लहरें रोज शिवलिंगों का जलाभिषेक करती हैं। यहां पर भगवान शिव ने पांडवों को लिंग स्वरूप में अलग-अलग दर्शन दिए थे। यहां 5 शिवलिंग आज भी विराजमान हैं। लोग पानी में चलकर ही इस मंदिर के दर्शन करने पहुंचते हैं। दर्शनार्थियों को इसके लिए ज्वार उतरने का इंतजार भी करना पड़ता है। भारी ज्वार के वक्त केवल मंदिर की पताका और खंभा ही नजर आते हैं। ज्वार के वक्त अंदाजा भी नहीं लगाया जा सकता है कि पानी के नीचे समुद्र में महादेव का प्राचीन मंदिर स्थित है।

यह मंदिर महाभारत काल से जुड़ा हुआ है। इसका इतिहास महाभारत काल का है। महाभारत के युद्ध के दौरान पांडवों ने कौरवों को मारकर युद्ध जीता था। परंतु युद्ध समाप्ति के पश्चात पांडव दुखी थे, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने ही सगे संबंधियों की हत्या का पाप लिया था। इस पाप से छुटकारा पाने के लिए पांडव भगवान श्री कृष्ण से मिले।

पाप से मुक्ति का रास्ता बताते हुए भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने पांडवों को एक काला ध्वज और एक काली गाय सौंपी और पांडवों को गाय का अनुसरण करने को कहा तथा बताया कि जब ध्वजा और गाय दोनों का रंग काले से सफेद हो जाए तो समझ लेना कि तुम्हें पाप से मुक्ति मिल गई है। साथ ही कृष्ण ने उनसे यह भी कहा कि जिस जगह ऐसा जहां हो वहां पर भगवान शिव की आराधना करना।

पांचों भाई भगवान श्री कृष्ण के कथन अनुसार काली ध्वजा हाथ में लिए काली गाय का अनुसरण करने लगे। इस क्रम में वह कई दिनों तक अलग-अलग जगह पर गए, लेकिन गाय और ध्वजा का रंग नहीं बदला। जब पांचों भाई चलते हुए गुजरात में कोलियाक तट पर पहुंचे तो गाय व ध्वजा का रंग सफेद हो गया। यही पांडवों की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान शिव ने पांचों भाइयों को लिंग रूप में अलग-अलग दर्शन दिए थे।

भगवान शिव के वही पांच स्वरूप यहां स्थित हैं। पांचों शिवलिंग के सामने नंदी प्रतिमाएं भी हैं। पांचों शिवलिंग एक वर्गाकार चबूतरे पर बने हैं। इस चबूतरे पर एक छोटा सा पानी का तालाब भी है, जिसे पांडू तालाब कहते हैं। मान्यता है कि इस मंदिर के दर्शन से श्रद्धालु मालामाल हो जाते हैं। पूरे वर्ष भर ही यहां बड़ी संख्या में दर्शनार्थी और श्रद्धालुओं का आना लगा रहता है।

चूंकि यहां पर आकर पांडवों को अपने सगे -संबंधियों, भाइयों के कलंक से मुक्त मुक्ति मिली थी, इसलिए इसे निष्कलंक महादेव मंदिर कहते हैं। भादवे महीने की अमावस को यहां पर मेला लगता है जिसे भाद्रवी (Bhadravi) कहा जाता है। प्रत्येक अमावस के दिन इस मंदिर में भक्तों की विशेष भीड़ रहती हैहालांकि पूर्णिमा और अमावस के दिन ज्वार अधिक सक्रिय रहता है फिर भी श्रद्धालु उसके उतर जाने का इंतजार करते हैं और फिर भगवान शिव का दर्शन करते हैं।

Nishlanka Mahadev Temple

  Today, we discuss one such unique temple, where Shiva appeared to the Pandavas.  For some people this will be new information.

 This immaculate Mahadev temple is located in the Arabian Sea, 3 kilometers off the coast of Koliak in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.  Here, the waves of the Arabian Sea daily offer water to Shivalingas.  Here Lord Shiva gave different visions to the Pandavas in gender format.  5 Shivalingas still sit here.  People reach this temple only after walking in water.  Visitors also have to wait for the tide to come down.  During the high tide only the flag and pillar of the temple are seen.  At the time of the tide, it cannot be guessed that the ancient temple of Mahadev is situated in the sea under water.

 This temple is associated with the Mahabharata period.  Its history is from Mahabharata period.  During the war of Mahabharata, the Pandavas won the battle by killing the Kauravas.  But after the end of the war, the Pandavas were sad because they had taken the sin of killing their own relatives.  The Pandavas met Lord Krishna to get rid of this sin.

 Telling the path of freedom from sin, Lord Shri Krishna handed the Pandavas a black flag and a black cow and asked the Pandavas to follow the cow and told that when the color of both the flag and the cow turns from black to white, then understand that you  Freedom from sin is found.  Also, Krishna also told him to worship Lord Shiva at the place where it is.

 The five brothers followed the black cow with a black flag in their hands, according to the statement of Lord Krishna.  In this sequence, he went to different place for several days, but the color of cow and flag did not change.  When the five brothers reached the Koliak coast in Gujarat, the color of cow and flag became white.  Pleased with the penance of the Pandavas, Lord Shiva gave different visions to the five brothers in gender form.

 The same five forms of Lord Shiva are located here.  There are also Nandi statues in front of all five Shivling.  The five Shivalingas are built on a square platform.  There is also a small water pond on this platform, which is called Pandu Talab.  It is believed that devotees become rich by visiting this temple.  A large number of devotees and devotees visit here throughout the year.

 Since the Pandavas came here and got rid of the stigma of their relatives, brothers, it is called the uninterrupted Mahadev temple.  A fair is organized here on the Amavas of the month of Bhadve which is called Bhadravi.  There is a special crowd of devotees in this temple on every Amavas, though the tide is more active on the full moon and Amavas, yet devotees wait for it to descend and then see Lord Shiva.
