आज हम यहां देश के सबसे अमीर मंदिर की चर्चा करेंगे। दुनिया का सबसे अमीर मंदिर, जहां दीयों की रोशनी में होते हैं भगवान के दर्शन। हां, आज हम केरल राज्य के तिरुअनंतपुरम में स्थित भगवान विष्णु के प्रसिद्ध हिंदू मंदिर पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर के विषय में यहां कुछ जानकारियां साझा करेंगे।

भारत के प्रमुख वैष्णव मंदिरों में शामिल यह ऐतिहासिक मंदिर तिरुवनंतपुरम के अनेक पर्यटन स्थलों में से एक है। यह विष्णु भक्तों की महत्वपूर्ण आराधना स्थली है। मान्यता है कि मंदिर की स्थापना 5000 साल पहले हुई थी, लेकिन 1733 में त्रावनकोर के राजा मार्तण्ड ने इसका पुनर्निर्माण कराया था। यहां भगवान विष्णु का सिंगार शुद्ध सोने के भारी-भरकम आभूषणों से किया जाता है। मंंदिर के निर्माण में अनेक महत्वपूर्ण बातों का ध्यान रखा गया है। सर्वप्रथम इसकी भव्यता को आधार बनाया गया है। मंदिर को विशाल रूप में निर्मित किया गया है, जिसमें उसका शिल्प सौंदर्य सभी को प्रभावित करता है। मंदिर के निर्माण में द्रविड़ एवं केरल शैली का मिलाजुला प्रयोग देखा जा सकता है। मंदिर का गोपुरम द्रविड़ शैली में बना हुआ है। पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर दक्षिण भारतीय वास्तुकला का अद्भुत उदाहरण है। मंदिर का परिसर बहुत विशाल है, जो कि सात मंजिला ऊंचा है। गोपुरम को कलाकृतियों से सुसज्जित किया गया है। मंदिर के पास एक सरोवर भी है, जो "पद्मतीर्थ कुलम" के नाम से जाना जाता है। मंदिर केेे गर्भगृह में भगवान विष्णु की विशाल मूर्ति विराजमान है, जिसे देखने के लिए हजारों भक्त दूर-दूर से आते हैं। इस प्रतिमा में भगवान विष्णु शेषनाग पर शयन मुद्रा में विराजमान हैं। मान्यता है कि तिरुअनंतपुरम नाम भगवान के 'अनंत' नामक नाग केेेेेे नाम पर ही रखा गया रखा गया है। यहां पर भगवान विष्णु की विश्राम  अवस्था को पद्मनाभ कहा जाता है।  

तिरुअनंतपुरम का पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर केेरल के प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थलों में से एक है। केरल संस्कृत एवं साहित्य का अनूठा संगम है। इसके एक तरफ तो खूबसूरत समुद्र तट है और दूसरी ओर पश्चिमी घाट में पहाड़ियों का अद्भुत नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य। इन सभी अमूल्य प्राकृतिक निधियों के मध्य स्थित है "पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर"। इसका स्थापत्य देखते ही बनता है। मंदिर के निर्माण में महीन कारीगरी का भी कमाल देखने योग्य है। यह केरल के प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थलों में से एक है।

इस मंदिर के साथ कई रहस्य भी जुड़े हुए हैं। मंदिर के खजाने से जुड़े कुछ खास रहस्य हैं। दक्षिण भारत के पद्मनाभ मंदिर में अनुमानित 500000 करोड़ का खजाना है। सन 2011 में इसका खुलासा हुआ, जिसे गिनने में आधुनिक मशीनें और कई लोगों की टीमें लगी थी। मंदिर में सात तहखाने हैं, जिसमें 6 खोले जा चुके हैं और उसमें बहुमूल्य आभूषण और कीमती चीजें मिली हैं लेकिन सातवें दरवाजे को नहीं खोला जा सका है। सातवां दरवाजे को खोलने में कई तरह की परेशानियां सामने आई थी जिसके बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अगले आदेश तक उसके खुलने पर रोक लगा दी थी।

 Today we will discuss here the richest temple in the country.  The richest temple in the world, where the light of the lamps is seen in the Lord.  Yes, today we will share some information about the famous Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu Padmanabhaswamy Temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala state.

 This historic temple included among the major Vaishnava temples of India is one of the many tourist places in Thiruvananthapuram.  It is an important place of worship for Vishnu devotees.  It is believed that the temple was established 5000 years ago, but it was rebuilt in 1733 by King Martand of Travancore.  Here Lord Vishnu is decorated with heavy ornaments of pure gold.  Many important things have been taken care of in the construction of the temple.  First of all, its grandeur has been grounded.  The temple is built in a huge form, with its craft beauty affecting all.  A mixed use of the Dravidian and Kerala styles can be seen in the construction of the temple.  The temple's gopuram is built in the Dravidian style.  Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a wonderful example of South Indian architecture.  The complex of the temple is very spacious, which is seven storeys high.  The gopuram is furnished with artifacts.  There is also a lake near the temple, which is known as "Padmathirtha Kulam".  The sanctum sanctorum of the temple houses a huge statue of Lord Vishnu, which is visited by thousands of devotees from far and wide.  In this statue, Lord Vishnu sits in a sleeping posture on Sheshnag.  It is believed that Thiruvananthapuram is named after the serpent named 'Anant' of God.  Here the resting state of Lord Vishnu is called Padmanabha.

 The Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram is one of the famous shrines of Kerala.  Kerala is a unique confluence of Sanskrit and literature.  It has beautiful beaches on one side and amazing natural beauty of the hills in the Western Ghats on the other.  "Padmanabhaswamy Temple" is situated amidst all these priceless natural funds.  Its architecture is built on seeing it.  The work of fine workmanship in the construction of the temple is also worth seeing.  It is one of the famous religious places in Kerala.

 Many mysteries are also associated with this temple.  There are some special secrets associated with the treasures of the temple.  Padmanabha Temple in South India has an estimated treasure of 500000 crores.  It was revealed in 2011, which had modern machines and many teams to count.  There are seven cellars in the temple, in which 6 have been opened and precious jewels and valuables have been found in it, but the seventh door has not been opened.  There were many difficulties in opening the seventh door, after which the Supreme Court stayed its opening until the next order.
