ब्लू व्हेल (Blue Whale)

 ब्लू व्हेल दुनिया की सबसे विशाल प्रणियों में से एक है। इनका विशाल आकार और अविश्वसनीय रूप से शांतिपूर्ण जीवन सबको आश्चर्यचकित कर देता है। हालांकि यह इस ग्रह का सबसे बड़ा प्राणी है, पर अभी तक इनके बारे में (शारीरिक या व्यवहारिक) कई चीजों में रहस्य बना हुआ है।यह हम सब जानते हैं कि ब्लू व्हेल एक प्रकार की मछली है ,लेकिन विज्ञान के अनुसार यह एक समुद्री स्तनपायी जीव है ,इसका आकार मछली जैसा होता है लेकिन वास्तव में यह एक स्तनधारी प्राणी है । इसकी कई सारी प्रजातियां पाई जाती हैं जैसे किलर व्हेल,स्पर्म व्हेल, वेलुगा व्हेल नीली व्हेल, पायलट व्हेल आदि। आज हम इस लेख के माध्यम से ब्लू व्हेल के बारे में कुछ रोचक और विस्मय तथ्य जानेंगे-

# वैज्ञानिक मानते हैं कि ब्लू व्हेल का अस्तित्व मानव सभ्यता के पहले का है और यह करीब 50000000 साल पहले से भी अस्तित्व में है। यह 30 मीटर तक लंबी और 180 टन तक वजन(यानी 30 हाथी के बराबर) हो सकती हैं। ब्लू व्हेल डायनासोर के मिलने वाले कंकाल जिसका आकार लगभग 27 मीटर है, उससे भी बड़ा है। अपने बड़े आकार के कारण वे पानी में उछाल का आनंद लेती हैं।

# सबसे हैरानी वाली बात यह है कि कोई भी व्हेल पानी में सांस नहीं ले सकती, इनके सिर पर एक छेद होता है जिसकी सहायता से ये सांस लेती हैं ब्लू व्हेल 35 मिनट लेकर से 2 घंटे तक अपनी 

सांस को रोक सकते हैं।सांस लेते समय हवा के साथ पानी भी चला जाता है जिसे बाद  में ये पानी के एक बड़े फव्वारे की तरह छोड़ती हैं।

# क्या आप जानते हैं ब्लू व्हेल की जीभ एक अफ्रीकी वन हाथी के बराबर होती है, और इनका दिल 4 चेंबर वाला लगभग 600 किलोग्राम वजन का होता है, जो कि कम से कम एक ऑटोमोबाइल के आकार के बराबर है, इनके दिल की धड़कनों को 2 मील दूर से भी सुना जा सकता है। इसकी आंखें मनुष्य के सिर के बराबर होती हैं।

 # कुछ ब्लू व्हेल के मुंह में दांत भी होते हैं और कुछ के दांत के जगह पर प्लेट के आकार की हड्डियां होती हैं।

# ब्लू व्हेल ज़्यादातर क्रिल कहे जाने वाली छोटी मछलियों पर निर्भर रहती हैं। एक बार पानी में गोता लगाने के बाद 3 मिनट से 15 मिनट तक पानी के अंदर ही रहती हैं और इस बीच वह सैकड़ों मछलियों को अपना निवाला बना लेती हैं। जानकारों का कहना है कि एक बार में ब्लू व्हेल लगभग 200 आदमियों के बराबर यानी कि 2000 से 5000 किलोग्राम तक खाना खा लेतीं हैं और इसी वजह से खाने के बाद लगभग कोमा की स्थिति आ जाती हैं।ये 150 से 200 दिन तक बिना कुछ खाए भी जिंदा रह सकतीं हैं।

# जब अपने बच्चे को जन्म देती है तो उस वक्त बच्चे का वजन लगभग 2.5 टन तक होता है, प्रति घंटे 8 पाउंड वजन की वृद्धि होती है और प्रतिदिन लंबाई 1.5 इंच की दर से वृद्धि होती है। यह बच्चे अपनी मां के प्रति दिन 200 से 300 लीटर दूध पी जाते हैं। इनका दूध टूथपेस्ट की तरह गाढ़ा होता है। ब्लू व्हेल एक बार में एक ही बच्चे को जन्म देती है। इनके बच्चे अपनी मां के साथ 1 साल या इससे अधिक समय रहते हैं।

# ब्लू व्हेल का मस्तिष्क बहुत छोटा होता है, इसका वजन केवल 6.92 किलोग्राम होता है जो उसके शरीर के वजन का 0.00 7% है। ब्लू व्हेल 90 दिनों तक बिना सोए रह सकती है, सोते वक्त इनका दिमाग आधा सोया और आधा जागता रहता है ।रिसर्च के अनुसार यह अगर पूरी तरह सो जाए तो डूब कर मर जाएगी।

# ब्लू व्हेल दुनिया में सबसे सशक्त जानवर हैं,वे एक दूसरे की आवाज लगभग 1000 मील की दूरी तक सुन सकते हैं, यानी 1000 मील दूर तक एक दूसरे को बुला सकते हैं।अपने साथियों को बुलाने के लिए बहुत मधुर आवाज निकालते हैं जिसे ब्लू व्हेल सॉन्ग कहते हैं।

# ब्लू व्हेल की गर्दन काफी लचीली होती है जो तैरते वक्त गोल घूम सकती है। इनके पूछ के अंत में दो सिर होते हैं , जो उन्हें तैरने में सहायता करते हैं। यह 46 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तैर सकती हैं। हमारी तरह इनकी भी एक रीढ की हड्डी होती है।

# ब्लू व्हेल एकांत प्रिय प्राणी है अन्य व्हेल  की अपेक्षा यह जोड़े में सफर करती हैं।

# बीसवीं सदी के शुरुआत में ब्लू व्हेल लगभग सभी महासागरों में प्रचुर मात्रा में थी।अंधाधुन शिकार के वजह से इनकी संख्या में काफी कमी आ गई थी जिसकी वजह से इंटरनेशनल व्हेलिंग कमीशन ने इसके व्यवसायिक शिकार पर पाबंदी लगा दी थी। हो सकता है आने वाले दिनों में इनकी संख्या में कुछ बढ़ोतरी हो जाए।

# ब्लू व्हेल लगभग 80 से 90 वर्ष तक जिंदा रहती हैं।
