श्री रानी सतीजी मंदिर (श्री राणी सतीजी मंदिर) राजस्थान के झुंझुनू जिले में स्थित भारत के प्रमुख मंदिरों में से एक है। मंदिर में नारायणी देवी द्वारा किए गए बलिदान से निकली शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले त्रिशूल है।  साथ ही इस मंदिर में भगवान गणेश, शिव, हनुमान, सत्यनारायणजी, नवग्रह और षोडश मातृका के मंदिर भी हैं।

यह मंदिर सदियों पुराना है। मंदिर में हर साल लाखों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु आते हैं। राजस्थान और देश के अन्य भागों के मारवाड़ी समाज रानी सती दादी की पूजा करते हैं और उनका मानना ​​है कि रानी सती दादी माँ दुर्गा हैं। मंदिर में प्रसाद की सुविधा के साथ ही दर्शन के लिए आने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों के लिए कैंटीन भी है। मंदिर परिसर में एक गौशाला, एक बालिका विद्यालय, गरीबों और जरूरतमंदों के लिए एक विवाह भवन, पार्क, पुस्तकालय और संगीतमय फव्वारा है।

मंदिर का इतिहास 

झुंझुनू श्री रानीसती मंदिर का इतिहास 400 साल से भी ज़्यादा पुराना है और यह नारी वीरता और मातृत्व का एक शानदार प्रमाण है। मंदिर का इतिहास और रानी सती दादी का संबंध महाभारत काल से जुड़ा है। रानी सती अभिमन्यु की पत्नी उतेरा थीं। महाभारत के युद्ध में जब अभिमन्यु की मृत्यु हो गई थी, तब उतेरा अभिमन्यु की अग्नि में जलकर सती होना चाहती थीं। तब श्री कृष्ण उनके पास आए और उन्हें ऐसा करने से रोक लिए । उन्होंने उतेरा को कहा कि यह केवल अगले जन्म में ही संभव होगा और उनकी सती होने की इच्छा पूरी होगी।

अगले जन्म में उनका नाम नारायणी था, जो राजस्थान के ठुकाय गांव में गुरसमल की बेटी थीं। अभिमन्यु अपने दूसरे जन्म में हिसार में जालीराम के पुत्र थंधन बने। थंधन के पास एक सुंदर घोड़ा था और वह अपने उद्देश्य के लिए उसका उपयोग करता था। थंधन और नारायणी का विवाह। हिसार के एक राजा के बेटे ने थंधन का सुंदर घोड़ा लेना चाहा, लेकिन थंधन ने घोड़ा देने से इनकार कर दिया। तब राजा के बेटे ने जबरन घोड़ा लेने का फैसला किया और थंधन से युद्ध किया, जिसमें राजा का बेटा मारा गया। अपने बेटे की मौत की खबर पाकर राजा ने थंधन को मारने का फैसला किया। राजा से लड़ते हुए नारायणी के सामने थंधन की मृत्यु हो गई। फिर नारायणी ने राजा से युद्ध किया और राजा को मार डाला और खुद थंधन की अग्नि में जलकर सती हो गयीं। यह स्थान अब स्मारक मंदिर के साथ चिह्नित है। वह अब शहर के अग्रवाल मारवाड़ियों (तुलस्यान, जालान और झुनझुनवाला) की कुल देवी हैं।

रानी सती का मंदिर झुंझुनू की पहाड़ियों पर मौजूद एक प्राचीन और भव्य मंदिर है, जो अपनी वास्तुकला के लिए भी पूरे भारत में प्रसिद्ध है। सफ़ेद संगमरमर से बनी पूरी इमारत आकर्षक है। मंदिर के कई भागों को कांच के द्वारा सजाया गया है वो आज भी देखा जा सकता है। 

अमावस्या के अवसर पर झुंझुनू में एक पवित्र पूजनोत्सव मनाया जाता है। हर साल इस शुभ दिन पर लाखों श्रद्धालु मंदिर परिसर में इकट्ठा होते हैं और राजसी श्री रानी सतीजी की एक झलक पाने के लिए कतार में खड़े होते हैं। झुंझुनू श्री रानी सती मंदिर की सबसे खास विशेषता यह है कि इसमें किसी भी महिला या पुरुष देवता की मूर्ति या छवि नहीं है। शक्ति और बल के रूप में एक त्रिशूल की पूजा की जाती है, जो हिंदू धर्म के अनुसार सर्वोच्च शक्ति है। रानी सतीजी का एक शानदार चित्र परधान मंड में भव्य शिखर के साथ स्थित है। श्री रानी सतीजी का मुख्य मंदिर मुख्य गर्भगृह का स्थान है। मंदिर में रंगीन दीवार पेंटिंग भी हैं। मंदिर में सुंदर भित्ति चित्र हैं, जो समय के साथ धंधली पड़ चुकी हैं। 

यह मंदिर प्रतिदिन सुबह 5 बजे से लेकर दोपहर 1 बजे और फिर दोपहर 3 बजे से रात को 10 बजे के तक श्रद्धालुओं के लिए खुला रहता है। रानी सती मंदिर में प्रवेश और दर्शन के लिए कोई भी शुल्क नहीं है।

Shri Rani Satiji Temple (Shri Rani Satiji Mandir) is one of the major temples of India located in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Also, this temple has temples of Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Hanuman, Satyanarayanji, Navgrah and Shodash Matrika.

This temple is centuries old. Lakhs of devotees visit the temple every year. Marwari community of Rajasthan and other parts of the country worship Rani Sati Dadi and believe that Rani Sati Dadi is Maa Durga. The temple has a canteen for pilgrims coming for darshan along with the facility of Prasad. The temple complex has a cowshed, a girl's school, a marriage hall for the poor and needy, park, library and musical fountain.

History of the temple

The history of Jhunjhunu Shri Ranisati Temple is more than 400 years old and it is a great proof of female valor and motherhood. The history of the temple and Rani Sati Dadi is related to the Mahabharata period. Rani Sati was Utrera, the wife of Abhimanyu. When Abhimanyu died in the Mahabharata war, Utrera wanted to become a Sati by burning herself in Abhimanyu's fire. Then Shri Krishna came to her and stopped her from doing so. He told Utrera that this would be possible only in the next birth and her wish to become a Sati would be fulfilled.

In the next birth, her name was Narayani, who was the daughter of Gursmal in Thukay village of Rajasthan. Abhimanyu in his second birth became Thandhan, the son of Jaliram in Hisar. Thandhan had a beautiful horse and he used it for his purpose. Marriage of Thandhan and Narayani. The son of a king of Hisar wanted to take Thandhan's beautiful horse, but Thandhan refused to give the horse. Then the king's son decided to take the horse forcibly and fought with Thandhan, in which the king's son was killed. On receiving the news of his son's death, the king decided to kill Thandhan. While fighting the king, Thandhan died in front of Narayani. Narayani then fought the king and killed the king and herself became a sati by burning in Thandhan's fire. This place is now marked with a memorial temple. She is now the Kul Devi of the Agrawal Marwaris (Tulsyan, Jalan and Jhunjhunwala) of the city.

Rani Sati Temple is an ancient and magnificent temple situated on the hills of Jhunjhunu, which is also famous all over India for its architecture. The entire building made of white marble is attractive. Many parts of the temple are decorated with glass which can still be seen today.

A holy puja festival is celebrated in Jhunjhunu on the occasion of Amavasya. Every year on this auspicious day, lakhs of devotees gather in the temple premises and stand in queue to get a glimpse of the majestic Sri Rani Satiji. The most special feature of Jhunjhunu Shri Rani Sati Mandir is that it does not have any idol or image of any female or male deity. A trident is worshipped as a symbol of power and strength, which is the supreme power according to Hinduism. A magnificent portrait of Rani Satiji is situated in the Pardhan Mand with a grand shikhara. The main shrine of Shri Rani Satiji is the main sanctum sanctorum. The temple also has colorful wall paintings. The temple has beautiful murals, which have faded with time.

This temple is open to devotees daily from 5 am to 1 pm and then from 3 pm to 10 pm. There is no fee for entry and darshan in Rani Sati Mandir.
