लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर बिड़ला मंदिर

लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर दिल्ली के प्रमुख मंदिरों में से एक है और एक प्रमुख पर्यटक आकर्षण है। लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर को बिड़ला मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। कनॉट प्लेस के पश्चिम में स्थित ये मंदिर आजादी से पहले 1938 में उद्योगपति राजा बलदेव बिड़ला ने बनवाया था। लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर का उद्घाटन महात्मा गांधी ने किया था। मंदिर मूल रूप में साल 1622 में वीर सिंह देव ने बनवाया था। बाद में पृथ्वी सिंह ने साल 1793 में मंदिर का जीर्णोद्धार कराया।

यह मंदिर भगवान विष्णु और देवी लक्ष्मी को समर्पित है 

मंदिर भगवान विष्णु और देवी लक्ष्मी को समर्पित हैं अर्थात यहाँ माता लक्ष्मी और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा होती है। मंदिर सोमवार को छोड़कर सभी दिन पर्यटकों के लिए खुला रहता है। जन्माष्टमी और दिवाली दो ऐसे खास त्योहार हैं, जिन्हें व्यापक रूप से यहां मनाया जाता है। 

मंदिर की वास्तुकला

बिड़ला मंदिर एक तीन मंजिला इमारत है और इसे नागर शैली में बनाया गया है। यह एक बड़े सफेद महल की तरह है। यह सब सफ़ेद संगमरमर से बना है। वर्तमान सार्वभौमिक चक्र के स्वर्ण युग के दृश्यों को मंदिर की दीवारों के चारों ओर उकेरा गया है। मंदिर में कोटा पत्थर का काम भी है जो मकराना, आगरा, जैसलमेर और कोटा जैसे अलग-अलग स्थानों से लाया गया था। मंदिर का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण इसका शिकारा है, जो गर्भगृह के ऊपर है, जो लगभग 160 फीट ऊंचा है। मंदिर 7.5 एकड़ क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है और इसमें कई फव्वारे, मंदिर और मूर्तियां शामिल हैं। मंदिर में एक गीता भवन भी है, जिसका उपयोग प्रवचनों के लिए किया जाता है। बिरला मंदिर सिर्फ़ एक धर्म के लिए नहीं है; कोई भी व्यक्ति यहाँ आकर इसकी खूबसूरती का आनंद ले सकता है। मंदिर का डिज़ाइन एक खूबसूरत नज़ारा है जो भारतीय कला और शिल्प कौशल की समृद्ध विरासत को जीवंत रखता है। बिरला मंदिर में एक संग्रहालय है जिसमें पौराणिक कथाओं से जुड़ी कलाकृतियाँ हैं। 

मंदिर में दर्शन का समय 

बिड़ला मंदिर सुबह 4:30 बजे से दोपहर 1:30 बजे तक और फिर दोपहर 2:30 बजे से रात 9:00 बजे तक खुला रहता है । मंदिर में जाने के लिए कोई प्रवेश शुल्क नहीं है। आगंतुक बिना किसी टिकट के मंदिर का भ्रमण कर सकते हैं। मंदिर के अंदर कैमरे ले जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। बिड़ला मंदिर में सुबह की आरती सुबह 6 बजे होती है और संध्या आरती शाम 6:45 बजे होती है। 

कैसे पहुंच सकते हैं?

Scenes from the golden age of the current universal cycle are carved all around the walls of the temple. The temple also features Kota stone work that was brought from different places like Makrana, Agra, Jaisalmer and Kota. The biggest attraction of the temple is its Shikara, above the sanctum sanctorum, which is about 160 feet high. The temple is spread over an area of ​​7.5 acres and includes several fountains, temples and sculptures. The temple also has a Gita Bhawan, which is used for discourses. Birla Mandir is not just for one religion; anyone can come here and enjoy its beauty. The design of the temple is a beautiful sight that keeps alive the rich heritage of Indian art and craftsmanship. Temple Darshan Timings

Birla Mandir is open from 4:30 am to 1:30 pm and then from 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no entry fee to visit the temple. Visitors can visit the temple without any ticket. Cameras are not allowed inside the temple. The morning aarti at Birla Mandir takes place at 6 am and the evening aarti takes place at 6:45 pm.
