रधुनाथ मंदिर जम्मू शहर के मध्य में स्थित भगवान राम को समर्पित एक हिंदू मंदिर है, जो भारत के जम्मू-कश्मीर राज्य की तवी नदी के उत्तर में 1,150 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। यह मंदिर अपनी कलात्मकता का एक विशिष्ट उदाहरण है। यह मंदिर उत्तर भारत के प्रमुख और अनोखे मंदिरों में से एक है। इस मंदिर में हिंदू धर्म के 33 प्रकार के देवी और देवताओं की लिंगम भी बने है जो मंदिरों में एक इतिहास है।

चांदी का दरवाजा, सोने की चादर व 6,000 से अधिक पांडुलिपियां, भारत के प्राचीन मंदिरों में शुमार है रघुनाथ मंदिर और भारत के अन्य हिस्सों से प्राचीन पांडुलिपियों को डिजिटलीकरण करने के लिए पहल की शुरुआत की है। रघुनाथ मंदिर सारदा लिपि पांडुलिपियों का एक महत्वपूर्ण विद्वान एवं महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत है और कश्मीर परंपरा के हिंदू और बौद्ध ग्रंथों के सबसे बड़े संग्रह में से एक है।

रघुनाथ मंदिर का निर्माण 1853-1860 की अवधि में महाराजा रणवीर सिंह और उनके पिता महाराजा गुलाब सिंह द्वारा करवाया गया था। इस मंदिर में 7 ऐतिहासिक धार्मिक स्थल मौजूद है। मंदिर के आन्तरिक हिस्सों में सोना लगा हुआ है, जो तेज का स्वरूप है। मंदिर में कई देवी और देवताओं की मूर्ति लगी हुई है। श्रद्धालुओं को यहां काफी आश्चर्य होता है। यह मंदिर भगवान विष्णु के अवतार भगवान राम को समर्पित है, जो उत्तर भारत का सबसे बड़ा और सबसे प्रमुख मंदिर है।

ऐतिहासिक रघुनाथ मंदिर पर नवंबर 2002 में आतंकी हमला भी हो चुका है, जिसके बाद इस मंदिर को कुछ समय के लिए बंद कर दिया गया था।  हमले के 11 साल बाद साल 2013 में एक बार फिर से मंदिर के द्वार भक्त के लिए खोल दिए गए। इस मंदिर को सन 1835 में राजा गुलाब सिंह ने बनवाना शुरु किया था। लेकिन मंदिर बनकर राजा रणवीर सिंह के काल में पूरा हुआ। मंदिर के भीतर दीवारों पर तीन तरफ सोने की परत चढ़ी हुई है।

मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर सूर्य का चिन्ह बना हुआ है और यह एक अष्टकोणीय आकार में 5 फीट (1.5 मीटर) की ऊँचाई वाले मंच के ऊपर भी बनाया गया है। इस मंदिर में बाहर से पांच कलश नज़र आते हैं, जो लम्बाई में फैले हैं। गर्भ गृह में राम सीता लक्ष्मण की विशाल मूर्तियाँ हैं। इस मंदिर की विशेषता यह हैं कि इसमे रामायण महाभारत काल के कई चरित्रों की मूर्तियाँ विभिन्न कक्षों में हैं। गर्भ गृह के चारो ओर अहाते में विशाल कक्ष बने हैं जिनमें ये मूर्तियाँ हैं। मंदिर के अंदर की दीवारों को सूर्य एवं शिव सहित रामायण, महाभारत, भगवद गीता, और हिंदू महाकाव्यों के चित्र हैं, जिनमें गणेश, कृष्ण, शेषनाशी विष्णु जैसे कई देवताओं के 300 तरह के प्रतिकों से सजाया गया है, जो मंदिर को आकर्षित बनाते है। मंदिर के अंदर पौराणिक कथाओं से संबंधित विषयों के अलावा, कुछ चित्र धर्मनिरपेक्ष कथाओं से संबंधित हैं, जैसे कबीर, एक संत, बुनाई में लगे हुए और डोगरा और सिख समुदायों के सैन्यकर्मी इत्यादि।

इस मंदिर में भगवान राम, सीता और लक्ष्मण की विशाल मूर्तियां हैं। इस मंदिर में रामायण और महाभारत काल के पात्रों की मूर्तियाँ भी हैं। इस स्थान में चार धामों को एक साथ देखा जा सकता है। यहां आपको रामेश्वरम धाम, द्वारकाधीश धाम, बद्रीनाथ धाम और केदारनाथ धाम के दर्शन होंगे। मंदिर के एक कक्ष में भगवान सत्यनारायण को देखा जा सकता है।                                           

इस मंदिर का रामनवमी का त्यौहार दर्शनीय होता है। जो भगवान राम के जन्मोत्सव पर मनाया जाता है। इस मंदिर की सबसे विशेष बात यह है कि इसमें रामायण व महाभारत काल के कई चरित्रों की प्रतिमाएं भी स्थापित हैं। जो भगवान राम के जीवन काल को दर्शातीं हैं।

Radhunath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Rama located in the center of Jammu city, at an altitude of 1,150 feet, north of the Tawi River in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. This temple is a typical example of its artistry. This temple is one of the major and unique temples of North India. Lingams of 33 types of Gods and Goddesses of Hindu religion are also made in this temple which is a history in temples.

Raghunath Temple, home to silver doors, gold leaf and over 6,000 manuscripts, is one of the oldest temples in India and has launched an initiative to digitize ancient manuscripts from other parts of India. The Raghunath Temple is an important scholarly and important source of Sarada script manuscripts and one of the largest collections of Hindu and Buddhist texts of the Kashmir tradition.

Raghunath Temple was built by Maharaja Ranveer Singh and his father Maharaja Gulab Singh in the period 1853-1860. There are 7 historical religious places present in this temple. The interior parts of the temple are studded with gold, which is a form of brilliance. There are idols of many gods and goddesses in the temple. Devotees get a lot of surprise here. This temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is the largest and most prominent temple in North India.

There was also a terrorist attack on the historical Raghunath temple in November 2002, after which this temple was closed for some time. In 2013, 11 years after the attack, the doors of the temple were once again opened for devotees. Raja Gulab Singh started building this temple in 1835. But the temple was completed during the reign of Raja Ranveer Singh. Inside the temple, the walls are coated with gold on three sides.

The entrance of the temple has a Surya symbol and is also built on a platform 5 feet (1.5 m) high in an octagonal shape. In this temple, five Kalash are visible from outside, which are spread in length. There are huge statues of Ram, Sita, Lakshman in the sanctum sanctorum. The specialty of this temple is that it has statues of many characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata period in different rooms. There are huge chambers built in the courtyard around the sanctum sanctorum which contain these idols. The walls inside the temple are decorated with 300 types of icons of many deities like Ganesha, Krishna, Sheshnashi Vishnu, including the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and Hindu epics including Surya and Shiva, which make the temple attractive. . Apart from the subjects related to mythology inside the temple, some paintings are related to secular stories, like Kabir, a saint, engaged in weaving and military personnel from Dogra and Sikh communities etc.

This temple has huge statues of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshman. This temple also has statues of characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata period. Four Dhams can be seen together in this place. Here you will see Rameshwaram Dham, Dwarkadhish Dham, Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham. Lord Satyanarayan can be seen in one of the chambers of the temple.

The festival of Ram Navami of this temple is worth seeing. Which is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Lord Ram. The most special thing about this temple is that the statues of many characters of Ramayana and Mahabharata period are also installed in it. Which depicts the life span of Lord Rama.
