रमेश बाबू प्रज्ञानानंदा (Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa) एक 18 वर्षीय लड़के ने दुनिया के नंबर 2 और 3 खिलाड़ियों को हराकर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया और दुनिया के नंबर 1 खिलाड़ी के खिलाफ प्रतिस्पर्धा की और 2 बार खेला और मैच को 35 चालों में ड्रा कराया। भले ही प्रगनाननंदा को शतरंज विश्व कप के फाइनल में हार का सामना करना पड़ा हो, लेकिन हार के बावजूद भी यह उनकी जीत है। वह लाखों नए फैंस बनाने में कामयाब रहे हैं। वह सबसे कम उम्र के शतरंज विश्व कप उपविजेता बने हैं। 18 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने दुनिया के नंबर एक खिलाड़ी मैग्नस कार्लसन को फाइनल में कांटे की टक्कर दी। कार्लसन उम्र में प्रगनाननंदा से लगभग दो गुने हैं।

प्रगनाननंदा आठ साल की उम्र में विश्व विजेता बने थे और पहली बार चर्चा में आए। 10 साल की उम्र में भी उन्होंने अपने वर्ग में खिताब जीता और 12 साल की उम्र में ग्रैंड मास्टर की उपाधि हासिल कर इतिहास रच दिया। रमेश बाबू प्रज्ञानानंदा, जिनसे आज भी बहुत कम भारतीय लोग परिचित हैं, लेकिन विश्व स्तर पर यह नाम किसी पहचान का मोहताज नहीं है।

22 अगस्त 2023 को इस शतरंज विश्व कप फाइनल मुकाबले का पहला मैच ड्रॉ हो गया था। Praggnanandhaa और Magnus Carlsen के बीच फाइनल का दूसरा मुकाबला बुधवार 23 अगस्त 2023 को हुआ लेकिन इस मुकाबले में भी कोई निष्कर्ष नहीं आया और ड्रा हो गया। 24 अगस्त 2023 को R Praggnanandhaa Vs Magnus Carlsen आमने सामने थे। आखिरकार R Praggnanandhaa को हराकर Magnus Carlsen FIDE Word Cup 2023 के विजेता बन गए।

लेकिन Chess World Cup 2023 का फाइनल मुकाबला हार कर भी Praggnanandhaa ने एक नया इतिहास रच दिया है और विश्व में आज तक के सबसे कम उम्र के FIDE विश्व कप उपविजेता बन गए हैं। महज 18 साल की उम्र में FIDE Chess World Cup 2023 उपविजेता का खिताब जीतना भारत और प्रज्ञानानंदा के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि है और आज पूरा भारत इस उपलब्धि के लिए उनकी सराहना कर रहा है। भले ही वह इस मुकाबले में हार गए लेकिन उन्होंने करोड़ों भारतवासियों का दिल जीत लिया।

On 22 August 2023, the first match of this Chess World Cup final match was drawn. The second match of the final between Praggnanandhaa and Magnus Carlsen took place on Wednesday, 23 August 2023 but this match also ended in a draw. R Praggnanandhaa Vs Magnus Carlsen were face to face on 24 August 2023. Magnus Carlsen finally became the winner of the FIDE Word Cup 2023 by defeating R Praggnanandhaa.

But even after losing the final match of Chess World Cup 2023, Praggnanandhaa has created a new history and has become the youngest ever FIDE World Cup runner-up in the world. Winning the FIDE Chess World Cup 2023 runner-up title at the age of just 18 is a historic achievement for India and Praggnanandhaa and today the whole of India is applauding him for this achievement. Even though he lost in this match, he won the hearts of crores of Indians.
