भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश के अंबेडकर नगर जिले का एक गाँव है, जो टांडा से पूर्व में स्थित है। यह 1950 तक हंसवर एस्टेट के शाही परिवार द्वारा शासित था। जनसांख्यिकी रूप से, हंसवर पूर्वांचल के बाकी हिस्सों से मिलता-जुलता है, जिसमें यह स्थित है। यह मुख्य रूप से एक कृषि क्षेत्र है। यह साक्षरता के अपने स्तर पर मध्यम है, और इसमें मानव विकास सूचकांक कम है। हंसवर की एक समृद्ध ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि है।

 अम्बेडकर नगर के गाँव हंसवर में फाइन फेयर शॉपिंग सेंटर , उत्तर प्रदेश का सबसे बड़ा शॉपिंग मॉल है। यह उत्तर प्रदेश में सबसे अधिक देखी जाने वाली जगहों में से एक है। मॉल अप्रैल 2013 में खोला गया था। संपत्ति का स्वामित्व फाइन फेयर शॉपिंग सेंटर के पास है।

 हंसवर झील गाँव के उत्तर-पश्चिमी किनारे पर स्थित है। झील जलकुंभी के अतिवृद्धि के अधीन है , जो नाव यातायात, बाधा तैराकी और मछली पकड़ने में बाधा डाल सकती है और झील की पारिस्थितिकी को प्रभावित कर सकती है।

एक शानदार बड़ा किला जो हंसवर के शाही परिवार का निवासी है, जिसने हंसवर पर राज किया। किला चमकीले लाल रंग में है और ऐसा कहा जाता है कि इसमें सात आंगन और साथ ही सात कुएँ (कुवा) थे। अंतिम शासक जिसने यहां शासन किया वह राजा निपेन्द्र बहादुर सिंह थे। परिवार के वर्तमान प्रमुख राजा नरेंद्र मोहन सिंह अलैस संजय सिंह (पूर्व ब्लॉक प्रमुख) किले में शेर और मछलियों के साथ सुंदर नक्काशी है, जिसे परिवार का मुख्य प्रतीक कहा जाता है। हंसवर के शाही परिवार के राज करने से पहले हंसवर में जो राजा राज करते थे उनका किला (मौजूदा समय मे मोहम्मद शफी नेशनल इंटर कॉलेज) के पास था। वह किला मिट्टी का बना था। उस किले का खंडर अब खत्म हो गया है क्योंकि अब वहां पर नए मकान बन गए है।

Hanswar

It is a village in Ambedkar Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, located to the east of Tanda. It was ruled by the royal family of Hanswar Estate until 1950. Demographically, Hanswar resembles the rest of the Purvanchal in which it is located. It is mainly an agricultural area. It is moderate in its level of literacy, and has a low Human Development Index. Hanswar has a rich historical background.

The word Hanswar is derived from the combination of Hans and Sarovar. The village was situated on the bank of a pond and pairs of swans were found in the pond. Hence the villagers named the village as Hanswar. Hanswar is considered to be the largest village of its district Ambedkar Nagar. Hanswar village which is situated on the banks of river Ghaghra (locally known as Saryu). From pre-historic times to the time of Akbar, the boundaries of the province and its internal divisions have changed continuously, and the name Awadh, or Awadh, applies only to one of the ancient divisions of the government, belonging to the old Pachmirth. The title of Subedar of Awadh is mentioned in 1280 BC.

 Hanswar was once famous for making terrycott fabrics. Electric power is generally available for only four to five hours per day and is a significant factor in the decline of the textile industry.

 Fine Fair Shopping Center at village Hanswar in Ambedkar Nagar is the largest shopping mall of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most visited places in Uttar Pradesh. The mall was opened in April 2013. The property is owned by Fine Fair Shopping Center.

 Hanswar Lake is situated on the north-western edge of the village. The lake is subject to hyacinth overgrowth, which can hinder boat traffic, hinder swimming and fishing, and affect the ecology of the lake.

A magnificent large fort which is inhabited by the royal family of Hanswar, who ruled Hanswar. The fort is bright red in color and it is said that it had seven courtyards as well as seven wells (kuva). The last ruler who ruled here was Raja Nipendra Bahadur Singh. The current head of the family is Raja Narendra Mohan Singh Alais Sanjay Singh (Former Block Chief) The fort has beautiful carvings with lions and fishes, which are said to be the main symbols of the family. Before the reign of the royal family of Hanswar, the kings who ruled in Hanswar had their fort (presently near Mohammad Shafi National Inter College). The fort was made of mud. The ruins of that fort are now over because now new houses have been built there.
