कबूतर और चींटी

आज की कहानी तो सभी ने बचपन में कभी न कभी जरूर पढ़ी होगी। आज बड़े होने के बाद इस कहानी को पढ़ कर कुछ अलग सा लगा। बिल्कुल बचपने जैसा। आपको कैसा लगा ? 

गर्मियों का मौसम शुरू हो गया था। एक चींटी को बहुत तेज प्यास लगी थी। वह पानी की तलाश में यहां वहां भटकते हुए एक नदी के किनारे जा पहुंची। वह नदी पानी से भरा था, लेकिन चींटी सीधे उस नदी में नहीं जा सकती थी।  इसलिए वह एक छोटे से पत्थर पर चढ गई और वहीं से झुककर नदी का पानी पीने की कोशिश करने लगी। 

जैसे ही चींटी पानी पीने के लिए नीचे की तरफ झुकी, वह नदी में गिर पड़ी। उसी नदी के किनारे के एक वृक्ष पर एक कबूतर बैठा यह सब देख रहा था। उसे चींटी की हालत पर दया आ गई और कबूतर ने चींटी को बचाने का सोचा। उसने जल्दी से पेड़ की डाली से एक पत्ता तोड़कर नदी के पानी में बह रही चींटी के पास फेंक दिया। 

चींटी उस पते पर चढ़ गयी और उसकी जान बच गयी। जब वह पत्ता नदी के किनारे पहुंचा तो वहां पत्ते से उतर कर जमीन पर आ गई। चींटी ने अपनी जान बचाने के लिए कबूतर को धन्यवाद किया और वहां से चली गई। 

कुछ दिनों के पश्चात उसी नदी के किनारे एक शिकारी आया। उसने कबूतर के घोंसले के पास अपना जाल बिछा दिया। जाल पर दाने फेंक कर वह पास के एक झाड़ी में छुप कर बैठ गया। कबूतर शिकारी और उसके जाल को नहीं देख सका और जब जमीन पर दाना देखा तो उसे खाने के लिए नीचे उतर गया और शिकारी के जाल में फंस गया। 

उसी समय चींटी भी वहां आ पहुंची। उसने कबूतर को शिकारी के जाल में फंसा हुआ देख लिया। बेचारा कबूतर लाख प्रयास करने के बाद भी शिकारी के जाल से बाहर नहीं निकल पा रहा था। इसके बाद शिकारी आया और जाल में फंसे कबूतर को उठाकर चलने लगा। 

तभी चींटी ने कबूतर की जान बचाने के लिए शिकारी के पैर में काटना शुरू कर दिया। चींटी के काटने के कारण शिकारी को दर्द हुआ और वह जाल को नीचे फेंक दिया और अपना पैर साफ करने लगा। जाल की पकड़ ढ़ीली पड़ते ही मौका पाकर कबूतर जाल से निकल गया और वह तेजी से उड़ गया। इस तरह चींटी ने कबूतर की जान बचा ली।

शिक्षा : -  कर भला तो हो भला....जब भी मौका मिले, दूसरो की बिना किसी स्वार्थ के मदद करें।

Pigeon and Ant

Today's story must have been read by everyone at some point in childhood. Growing up today, reading this story felt a bit different. Just like childhood. How did you find it ?

The summer season had started. An ant was very thirsty. She wandered here and there in search of water and reached the bank of a river. The river was full of water, but the ant could not go directly to that river. So she climbed on a small stone and bent down from there and tried to drink the water of the river.

As the ant bent down to drink water, it fell into the river. A pigeon sitting on a tree on the bank of the same river was watching all this. He felt pity for the condition of the ant and the pigeon thought of saving the ant. He quickly plucked a leaf from the branch of the tree and threw it to the ant flowing in the water of the river.

The ant climbed to that address and his life was saved. When the leaf reached the bank of the river, it came down from the leaf and came to the ground. The ant thanked the pigeon for saving her life and left.

After some days a hunter came on the bank of the same river. He laid his net near the nest of the pigeon. Throwing grains on the net, he hid in a nearby bush and sat down. The pigeon could not see the hunter and his net and when he saw the grain on the ground, it came down to eat it and got caught in the hunter's net.

At the same time the ant also reached there. He saw the pigeon trapped in the hunter's net. The poor pigeon was unable to get out of the hunter's net even after making lakhs of efforts. After this the hunter came and picked up the pigeon trapped in the net and started walking.

Then the ant started biting the hunter's leg to save the life of the pigeon. The hunter was in pain due to the bite of the ant and he threw the net down and started cleaning his feet. As soon as the grip of the net loosened, the pigeon got out of the net and flew away. In this way the ant saved the life of the pigeon.

Moral : - Do good to be good.... Whenever you get a chance, help others without any selfishness.
