आदियोगी शिव प्रतिमा (Adiyogi Shiva Statue)

आदियोगी शिव प्रतिमा शंकर की 112 फीट की ऊंची प्रतिमा है, जो कोयंबटूर में वर्ष 2017 में स्थापित की गई थी। इसकी अभिकल्पना (डिजाइन) सद्गुरु जग्गी वासुदेव ने की है। सद्गुरु का विचार है कि यह प्रतिमा योग के प्रति लोगों में प्रेरणा जगाने के लिए है, इसलिए इसका नाम 'आदियोगी' है। शिव को योग का प्रवर्तक माना जाता है।

आदियोगी शिव ईशा योग परिसर में स्थित है, जो पश्चिमी घाटों की एक श्रृंखला वेल्लीयन्गिरि पर्वत की तलहटी में तमिलनाडु के कोयंबटूर में ध्यान-लिंग पर स्थित है। प्रतिमा को 2 साल और 8 महीने में तैयार किया गया है। प्रतिमा की ऊंचाई 112 फीट (34 मीटर) है सद्गुरु कहते हैं कि ऊंचाई मानव तंत्र में 112 चक्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है।

ढाई साल में बना डिजाइन

इस विशाल कृतिका डिजाइन तैयार करने में ढाई साल का समय लगा जबकि इसे बनाने में 8 महीने की कड़ी मेहनत।

 शिव की इस प्रतिमा का जहां धार्मिक और आध्यात्मिक महत्व है वहीं इसका ज्यामितीय महत्व भी है।इसे बनाने में 500 टन स्टील का प्रयोग किया गया है। इसकी ऊंचाई 112 फुट रखने के पीछे भी एक खास वजह है। दरअसल, शिव ने आदियोगी  रूप में मुक्ति के112 मार्ग बताए हैं। इसी आधार पर इसकी ऊंचाई रखी गई है।

शिव का वाहन नंदी

शिव के वाहन नंदी को बनाने के लिए महज 6 से 9 इंच के धातु टुकड़े का प्रयोग किया गया है इस प्रतिमा को तिल के बीज, हल्दी, भस्म, और रेत मिट्टी भरकर इसे बनाया गया है।

24 फरवरी 2017 को भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर ईशा योग केंद्र में इस प्रतिमा का उद्घाटन किया। ईशा फाउंडेशन की विज्ञप्ति के मुताबिक धरती के इस सबसे विशाल चेहरे की प्रतिष्ठा मानवता को आदियोगी शिव के अनुपम योगदान के सम्मान में की गई है।

हाल ही में इस मूर्ति "आदियोगी" को गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में शामिल कर दिया गया है। तमिलनाडु के कोयंबटूर में स्थापित "आदियोगी" की प्रतिमा को विशाल वक्ष के कारण गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज किया गया है।

Adiyogi Shiva Statue

The Adiyogi Shiva statue is a 112 feet tall statue of Shankar, which was installed in Coimbatore in the year 2017. It is designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. Sadhguru is of the view that this statue is meant to arouse inspiration in people towards yoga, hence its name 'Adiyogi'. Shiva is considered the originator of yoga.

Adiyogi Shiva is located in the Isha Yoga complex, a chain of Western Ghats at the foothills of the Velliangiri mountain at Dhyana-linga in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The statue has been prepared in 2 years and 8 months. The height of the statue is 112 feet (34 m). Sadhguru says that the height represents 112 chakras in the human system.

Design made in two and a half years

It took two and a half years to prepare this huge Kritika design while 8 months of hard work in making it.

 While this statue of Shiva has religious and spiritual significance, it also has geometric significance. 500 tons of steel have been used to make it. There is a special reason behind its height 112 feet. Actually, Shiva has given 112 paths of liberation in the form of Adiyogi. Its height has been kept on this basis.

Shiva's vehicle Nandi

Only 6 to 9 inches of metal pieces have been used to make Nandi, the vehicle of Shiva, this statue has been made by filling it with sesame seeds, turmeric, ash, and sand clay.

On 24 February 2017, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, inaugurated the statue at Isha Yoga Center on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. According to the release of Isha Foundation, this biggest face of the earth has been honored in honor of Adiyogi Shiva's outstanding contribution to humanity.

Recently this idol "Adiyogi" has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records. The statue of "Adiyogi", installed in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records because of the huge chest.
