Lion and Jackal
Years ago, there lived a strong lion in a Kandra in the Himalayas. Once he was returning to his cave. Then on the way he found a Marial-like Jackal, who lay down and bowed to him. When the lion asked him the reason for doing so, he said, "Sarkar, I want to be your servant. Please take me to your shelter. I will serve you and I will survive the hunt you have left." The lion obeyed him and kept him in his friendly.
In a few days, the jackal became very fat by eating the prey left by the lion. Every day, seeing the might of the lion, he also considered himself as a replica of the lion.
One day he said to Singh, "Hey Singh! I too have become as powerful as you are now. Today I will hunt an elephant and eat it and leave the remaining flesh for you."
Since Singh saw the jackal befriended, he did not mind his words and prevented him from doing so. Caught in a web of confusion, he stood at the top of the mountain, rejecting the advice of Dambi Siyar Singh. From there he looked around and saw a small group of elephants at the bottom of the mountain.
Then, like the lion-nad, he jumped on a big elephant three times with the sound of jackal. But the elephant did not fall on its head and it fell on its feet. And the elephant moved forward keeping his front foot on top of his head with his masti gait. In a moment, the jackal's head was shattered and his soul flew away.
Seeing all the wolf's movements from the top of the mountain, Singh then said this saga -
"Those who are foolish and arrogant, have the same speed"
