ब्रह्म कमल (BRAMHKAMAL)

ब्रह्म कमल केदारनाथ से 2 किलोमीटर ऊपर वासु की ताल के समीप तथा ब्रह्म कमल नामक तीर्थ पर सर्वाधिक उत्पन्न होता है। इसके अतिरिक्त फूलों की घाटी एवं पिंडारी ग्लेशियर, रूपकुंड, हेमकुंड, ब्रज गंगा, फूलों की घाटी में पुष्प बहुतायत पाया जाता है। 

ब्रम्हकमल पुष्प के विषय में इस ब्लॉग पर पहले लेख लिखा जा चुका है। आज यहाँ उसके औषधीय गुणों की चर्चा करेंगे। ब्रम्ह कमल का जहाँ अपना धार्मिक महत्व है, वहीं यह पुष्प औषधीय गुणों से भी परिपूर्ण है। 

ब्रम्ह कमल क्या है ?

ब्रह्मकमल एक पुष्प है, जिसकी कोई जड़ नहीं होती अर्थात यह पत्तों से पनपता है। इसकी बुवाई पत्तों से की जाती है। इसे अधिक पानी और गर्मी से बचाना होता है। ब्रह्म पुष्प एक ऐसा फूल है, जिसकी महालक्ष्मी वृद्धि के लिए पूजा की जाती है। जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं की कमल पानी (कीचड़) में खिलता है, पर "ब्रह्मकमल (Brahma Kamal)" कभी पानी में नहीं खिलता। इसका वृक्ष होता है, पत्ते बड़े और मोटे होते हैं तथा पुष्प सफेद होता है।

ब्रह्म कमल पुष्प का उपयोग आयुर्वेद में जड़ी-बूटी के रूप में किया जाता है तथा इससे कई प्रकार के रोगों का इलाज भी किया जाता है 

अधिक प्यास तथा शरीर में जलन की समस्या 

तृष्णा अर्थात अधिक प्यास लगना, शरीर में दाह-जलन, रक्तविकार, खून की खराबी या अशुद्धि, पूरे शरीर में छोटी-छोटी फुंसियां हो जाती हैं, इसमें कमल पुष्प का रस लगाने से लाभ होता है।

खराब लिवर की समस्या 

ब्रह्म कमल के फूल से तैयार सूप लिवर की सूजन (inflammation) का इलाज करने और शरीर में रक्त की मात्रा बढ़ाने में मदद करता है। यकृत केंसर में इसका सुप पिलाया जाता है। ब्रह्मकमल एक बेहतरीन लिवर औषधि-टॉनिक है। यह लिवर पर फ्री रेडिकल्स के दुष्प्रभाव को कम करने में सहायक है।

प्रमेह की समस्या 

कमल फूल में मिश्री पीसकर सुबह खाली पेट लेने से पुराना प्रमेह नष्ट हो जाता है।

पीलिया होने पर 

कमल बीज एवं कमल की पंखुड़ी देशी घी में भूनकर 3 दिन खिलाने से पीलिया जड़ से मिट जाता है।

शरीर के विषैले तत्व को बहार निकालने में 

कमल पुष्प का रस एवं क्वाथ का उपयोग करने से शरीर के विषैले तत्व दूर होते हैं। यह इम्युनिटी बूस्टर भी होता है। इसका एक चम्मच रस का शर्बत पीने से त्वचा में निखार आता है।

गर्भाशय की समस्या 

महिलाओं के लिए कमल एक सर्वश्रेष्ठ ओषधि है। यह एक बेहतरीन गर्भस्थापक है। कमल के सेवन से गर्भस्त्राव रुकता है। गर्भाशय की विकृति में हितकर है। यह स्त्री विकारों में अत्यन्त हितकारी है।

घाव भरने में 

ब्रम्ह कमल के फूलों का उपयोग घाव को भरने के किये किया जाता है। इसमें एंटीसेप्टिक गुण होता है। अतः इसके फूलों का पेस्ट बनाकर प्रभावित जगह पर लगाने से रक्त स्राव बंद हो जाता है और घाव जल्दी भरते हैं। 

तंत्रिका संबंधी विकार 

ब्रह्म कमल का उपयोग तंत्रिका संबंधी विकारों के इलाज में किया जाता है। इस फूल में एसिटिन नामक तत्व होता है, जो एक नैचुरल ऐंठनरोधी है। इसके साथ ही इसमें एंटीऑक्सीडेंट भी होता है। ब्रह्म कमल का फूल शरीर में रक्त को शुद्ध करने में मदद करता है।

बुखार होने पर 

ब्रह्म कमल के फूल का काढ़ा पीने से बुखार की समस्या से राहत मिलती है। बुखार होने पर इस फूल के काढ़े को दिन में दो बार बनाकर पी सकते हैं। इससे काफी आराम मिलता है।

ब्रम्हकमल का नुकसान 

ब्रह्म कमल का प्रयोग आज से नहीं अपितु पुराने समय से होता आ रहा है। ब्रह्म कमल से किसी भी तरह के नुकसान की कोई बात सामने नहीं आई है।

What is Brahma Kamal?

Brahma Kamal is a flower, which has no root, that is, it grows from the leaves. It is sown from the leaves. It has to be protected from excess water and heat. Brahma Pushpa is one such flower, which is worshiped for the growth of Mahalakshmi. As we all know that lotus blooms in water (mud), but "Brahma Kamal" never blooms in water. It is a tree, the leaves are large and thick and the flowers are white.

Grinding sugar candy in lotus flower and taking it on empty stomach in the morning destroys old gonorrhea.

After roasting lotus seeds and lotus petals in native ghee and feeding it for 3 days, jaundice is eradicated from the root.

The use of lotus flower juice and kwath removes the toxic elements of the body. It is also an immunity booster. Drinking juice of one spoon of this juice improves the skin.

Brahma Kamal is used in the treatment of neurological disorders. This flower contains a substance called acetin, which is a natural anticonvulsant. In addition, it also contains antioxidants. The flower of Brahma Kamal helps in purifying the blood in the body.

Drinking decoction of Brahma Kamal flower provides relief from the problem of fever. In case of fever, you can make a decoction of this flower and drink it twice a day. It gives a lot of relief.

Brahma Kamal is being used not from today but from ancient times. There has been no report of any kind of damage from Brahma Kamal.
