रेत से चीनी अलग करना

जब भी बुद्धिमत्ता, चतुराई और हाजिर-जवाबी की बात होती है, तो सबसे पहला नाम बीरबल का आता है। वहीं, अकबर-बीरबल की जुगलबंदी किसी से छुपी नहीं है। ऐसा कहा भी जाता है कि बीरबल को बादशाह अकबर के नवरत्नों में से एक अनमोल रत्न माना जाता था। अकबर-बीरबल से जुड़ी ऐसी कई कहानियां हैं, जो हर किसी को गुदगुदाती हैं। साथ ही एक खास सीख भी दे जाती हैं।अकबर-बीरबल की कहानियां हमेशा से सभी के लिए प्रेरणादायक रही हैं।

इस क्रम को बढ़ाते हैं, एक नयी कहानी से  

एक बार बादशाह अकबर, बीरबल और सभी मंत्रीगण दरबार में बैठे हुए थे। सभा की कार्यवाही चल रही थी। एक-एक करके राज्य के लोग अपनी समस्याएं लेकर दरबार में आ रहे थे। इसी बीच वहां एक व्यक्ति दरबार में पहुंचा। उसके हाथ में एक मर्तबान था। सभी उस मर्तबान की ओर देख रहे थे, तभी अकबर ने उस व्यक्ति से पूछा – ‘क्या है इस मर्तबान में?’

उसने कहा, ‘महाराज इसमें चीनी और रेत का मिश्रण है।’ अकबर ने फिर पूछा ‘किसलिए?’ अब दरबारी ने कहा – ‘गलती माफ हो महाराज, लेकिन मैंने बीरबल की बुद्धिमत्ता के कई किस्से सुने हैं। मैं उनकी परीक्षा लेना चाहता हूं। मैं यह चाहता हूं कि बीरबल इस रेत में से बिना पानी का इस्तेमाल किए, चीनी का एक-एक दाना अलग कर दें।’ अब सभी हैरानी से बीरबल की ओर देखने लगे।

         अब अकबर ने बीरबल की ओर देखा और कहा, ‘देख लो बीरबल, अब तुम कैसे इस व्यक्ति के सामने अपनी बुद्धिमानी का परिचय दोगे।’ बीरबल ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, ‘महाराज हो जाएगा, यह तो मेरे बाएं हाथ का काम है।’ अब सभी लोग हैरान थे कि बीरबल ऐसा क्या करेंगे कि रेत से चीनी अलग हो जाएगी? तभी बीरबल उठे और उस मर्तबान को लेकर महल में मौजूद बगीचे की ओर बढ़ चले। उनके पीछे वह व्यक्ति भी था।

        अब बीरबल बगीचे में एक आम के पेड़ के नीचे पहुंचे। अब वह मर्तबान में मौजूद रेत और चीनी के मिश्रण को एक आम के पेड़ के चारों तरफ फैलाने लगे। तभी उस व्यक्ति ने पूछा, ‘अरे यह क्या कर रहे हो?’ इस पर बीरबल ने कहा, ‘ये आपको कल पता चलेगा।’ इसके बाद दोनों महल में वापस आ गए। अब सभी को कल सुबह का इंतजार था। अगली सुबह जब दरबार लगा, तो अकबर और सारे मंत्री एक साथ बगीचे में पहुंचे। साथ में बीरबल और वह व्यक्ति भी था। सभी आम के पेड़ के पास पहुंच गए।

सभी ने देखा कि अब वहां सिर्फ रेत पड़ी हुई है। दरअसल, रेत में मौजूद चीनी को चीटियों ने अपने बिल में इकट्ठा कर लिया था और बची-खुची चीनी को कुछ चीटियां उठाकर अपने बिल में ले जा रही थीं। इस पर उस व्यक्ति ने पूछा, ‘चीनी कहां गई?’ तो बीरबल ने कहा, ‘रेत से चीनी अलग हो गई है।’ सभी जोर-जोर से हंसने लगे। बीरबल की यह चतुराई देख अकबर ने उस व्यक्ति से कहा, ‘अगर अब तुम्हें चीनी चाहिए, तो तुम्हें चीटियों के बिल में घुसना पड़ेगा।’ इस पर सभी ने फिर से ठहाका लगाया और बीरबल की तारीफ करने लगे।

किसी को नीचा दिखाने का प्रयास आपके लिए हानिकारक हो सकता है।

             Whenever it comes to intelligence, cleverness and spot-retaliation, the first name comes from Birbal.  At the same time, Akbar-Birbal's jugalbandi is not hidden from anyone.  It is also said that Birbal was considered one of the precious jewels of Emperor Akbar.  There are many stories related to Akbar-Birbal, which tickles everyone.  Along with this, a special lesson is also given.         Once Emperor Akbar, Birbal and all the ministers were sitting in the court.  The proceedings of the assembly were going on.  One by one the people of the state were coming to the court with their problems.  Meanwhile, a person reached the court there.  He had a jar in his hand.  Everyone was looking at that jar, then Akbar asked the person - "What is in this jar?"

         He said, ‘Maharaj it is a mixture of sugar and sand’. Akbar then asked ‘For what?’ Now the courtier said - “err maaf ho maharaj, but I have heard many stories of Birbal’s intelligence.  I want to test them.  I want Birbal to separate every single grain of sugar from this sand without using water. ”Surprisingly everyone started looking at Birbal.

          Now Akbar looked at Birbal and said, "Look, Birbal, now how will you show your intelligence to this person." Birbal smilingly said, "Maharaj will be done, this is the work of my left hand."  Now everyone was wondering what Birbal would do if the sugar would be separated from the sand?  Then Birbal got up and took the jar and proceeded towards the garden in the palace.  He was also the person behind them.

         Now Birbal reached the garden under a mango tree.  Now he started spreading the mixture of sand and sugar in the jar around a mango tree.  Then the person asked, "Hey what are you doing?" To this, Birbal said, "You will know tomorrow." After this, both of them returned to the palace.  Now everyone was waiting for tomorrow morning.  The next morning when the court was held, Akbar and all the ministers reached the garden together.  Birbal and that person were also together.  All reached near the mango tree.

 Everyone noticed that now there is only sand lying there.  Actually, the ants had collected the sugar in the sand in their burrows and were taking some of the remaining sugar in their burrows.  At this the person asked, "Where did the sugar go?" Birbal said, "The sugar has separated from the sand." Everyone started laughing loudly.  Seeing this cleverness of Birbal, Akbar said to the person, "If you want sugar now, you will have to enter the bill of ants." Everyone laughed again and praised Birbal.
