कर्ज वाली लक्ष्मी

सोशल मीडिया पर एक प्रेरक प्रसंग पढ़ कर अच्छा लगा। यह प्रसंग ज्यादातर लोगों तक पहुंचना चाहिए। अतः इस लेख को यहां साझा कर रही हूं।

एक 15 साल का लड़का अपने पापा से कहा पापा पापा दीदी के होने वाले ससुर और सास कल आ रहे है अभी जीजाजी ने फोन पर बताया। दीदी मतलब उसकी बड़ी बहन की सगाई कुछ दिन पहले एक अच्छे घर में तय हुई थी।

दीनदयाल जी पहले से ही उदास बैठे थे धीरे से बोले - हां बेटा! उनका कल ही फोन आया था कि वो एक दो दिन में दहेज की  बात करने आ रहे हैं। बोले, दहेज के बारे में आप से ज़रूरी बात करनी है। बड़ी मुश्किल से यह अच्छा लड़का मिला था। कल को उनकी दहेज की मांग इतनी ज़्यादा हो कि मैं पूरी नहीं कर पाया तो ?" कहते कहते उनकी आँखें भर आयीं। 

घर के प्रत्येक सदस्य के मन व चेहरे पर चिंता की लकीरें साफ दिखाई दे रही थी। लड़की भी उदास हो गयी। खैर, अगले दिन समधी समधिन आए, उनकी खूब आवभगत की गयी। कुछ देर बैठने के बाद लड़के के पिता ने लड़की के पिता से कहा दीनदयाल जी अब काम की बात हो जाए। 

दीनदयाल जी की धड़कन बढ़ गयी। बोले, हां हां समधी जी, जो आप हुकुम करें। 

लड़के के पिताजी ने धीरे से अपनी कुर्सी दीनदयाल जी और खिसकाई ओर धीरे से उनके कान में बोले - "दीनदयाल जी मुझे दहेज के बारे बात करनी है।"

दीनदयाल जी हाथ जोड़ते हुये आँखों में पानी लिए हुए बोले बताईए समधी जी, जो आप को उचित लगे मैं पूरी कोशिश करूंगा। समधी जी ने धीरे से दीनदयाल जी का हाथ अपने हाथों से दबाते हुये बस इतना ही कहा - आप कन्यादान में कुछ भी देगें या ना भी देंगे, थोड़ा देंगे या ज़्यादा देंगे, मुझे सब स्वीकार है, पर कर्ज लेकर आप एक रुपया भी दहेज मत देना, वो मुझे स्वीकार नहीं। क्योंकि जो बेटी अपने बाप को कर्ज में डुबो दे वैसी "कर्ज वाली लक्ष्मी" मुझे स्वीकार नहीं। मुझे बिना कर्ज वाली बहू ही चाहिए। जो मेरे यहाँ आकर मेरी सम्पति को दो गुना कर देगी। मेरे घर परिवार को खुशियों से भरेगी। 

दीनदयाल जी हैरान हो गए, उनसे गले मिलकर बोले - समधी जी बिल्कुल ऐसा ही होगा। 

शिक्षा-  कर्ज वाली लक्ष्मी ना कोई विदा करें न ही कोई स्वीकार करें..!!

Deendayal ji was already sitting sad and said softly - Yes son! I had received a call from him yesterday that he was coming in a day or two to discuss dowry. He said, I need to talk to you about dowry. This good boy was found with great difficulty. What if tomorrow their demand for dowry is so high that I am not able to fulfill it?" His eyes filled with tears while saying this.

Lines of worry were clearly visible on the mind and face of every member of the house. The girl also became sad. Well, the next day Samadhi Samadhin came and he was greatly welcomed. After sitting for some time, the boy's father said to the girl's father, Deendayal ji, now let's talk about work.

Deendayal ji's heartbeat increased. He said, yes, Samadhi ji, whatever you order.

The boy's father slowly moved his chair towards Deendayal ji and whispered in his ear - "Deendayal ji, I want to talk about dowry."

Deendayal ji folded his hands and said with tears in his eyes, tell me, Samadhi ji, whatever suits you, I will try my best. Samadhi ji gently pressed Deendayal ji's hand with his own and said only this - You may or may not give anything in Kanyadaan, you may give a little or you may give a lot, I accept everything, but do not give even a single rupee dowry by taking a loan. Give, I don't accept that. Because a daughter who drowns her father in debt, I do not accept that kind of "Lakshmi with debt". I want a daughter-in-law without debt. Who will come to my place and double my wealth. Will fill my home and family with happiness.

Deendayal ji was surprised, hugged him and said - Samadhi ji, it will be exactly like this.

Education- No one should bid farewell to Lakshmi who is in debt, nor should anyone accept her..!!
