सबसे बड़ी समस्या

बहुत समय पहले की बात है। एक महा ज्ञानी पंडित हिमालय की पहाड़ियों में कहीं रहते थे। लोगों के बीच रह कर वह थक चुके थे और अब ईश्वर भक्ति करते हुए एक सादा जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहते थे। लेकिन उनकी प्रसिद्धि इतनी थी कि लोग दुर्गम पहाड़ियों, संकरे रास्तों, नदी-झरनों को पार करके भी उनसे मिलना चाहते थे। लोगों का मानना था कि यह विद्वान उनकी हर समस्या का समाधान कर सकते हैं।

इस बार भी कुछ लोग उन्हें ढूंढते हुए उनकी कुटिया तक आ पहुंचे। पंडित जी ने उन्हें इंतज़ार करने के लिए कहा।तीन दिन बीत गए, अब और भी कई लोग वहां पहुँच गए। जब लोगों के लिए जगह कम पड़ने लगी तब पंडित जी बोले, "आज मैं आप सभी के प्रश्नों का उत्तर दूंगा, पर आपको वचन देना होगा कि यहाँ से जाने के बाद आप किसी और से इस स्थान के बारे में नहीं बताएँगे, ताकि आज के बाद मैं एकांत में रह कर अपनी साधना कर सकूँ। चलिए अपनी-अपनी समस्याएं बताइये।"

यह सुनते ही किसी ने अपनी परेशानी बतानी शुरू की, लेकिन वह अभी कुछ शब्द ही बोल पाया था कि बीच में किसी और ने अपनी बात कहनी शुरू कर दी। सभी जानते थे कि आज के बाद उन्हें कभी पंडित जी से बात करने का मौका नहीं मिलेगा। इसलिए वे सब जल्दी से जल्दी अपनी बात रखना चाहते थे। कुछ ही देर में वहां का दृश्य मछली-बाज़ार जैसा हो गया और अंततः पंडित जी को चीख कर बोलना पड़ा, "कृपया शांत हो जाइये! अपनी-अपनी समस्या एक पर्चे पे लिखकर मुझे दीजिये।"

सभी ने अपनी-अपनी समस्याएं लिखकर आगे बढ़ा दी। पंडित जी ने सारे पर्चे लिए और उन्हें एक टोकरी में डाल कर मिला दिया और बोले, "इस टोकरी को एक-दूसरे को पास कीजिये। हर व्यक्ति एक पर्ची उठाएगा और उसे पढ़ेगा। उसके बाद उसे निर्णय लेना होगा कि क्या वो अपनी समस्या को इस समस्या से बदलना चाहता है ?"

हर व्यक्ति एक पर्चा उठाता, उसे पढ़ता और सहम सा जाता। एक -एक कर के सभी ने पर्चियां देख ली पर कोई भी अपनी समस्या के बदले किसी और की समस्या लेने को तैयार नहीं हुआ। सबका यही सोचना था कि उनकी अपनी समस्या चाहे कितनी ही बड़ी क्यों न हो बाकी लोगों की समस्या जितनी गंभीर नहीं है। दो घंटे बाद सभी अपनी-अपनी पर्ची हाथ में लिए लौटने लगे, वे खुश थे कि उनकी समस्या उतनी बड़ी भी नहीं है जितना कि वे सोचते थे।

शिक्षा:-

ऐसा कौन होगा जिसकी जिंदगी में एक भी समस्या न हो ? हम सभी के जीवन में समस्याएं हैं, हमें लगता है कि सबसे बड़ी समस्या हमारी ही है पर यकीन जानिए इस दुनिया में लोगों के पास इतनी बड़ी-बड़ी समस्यायें हैं कि हमारी तो उनके सामने कुछ भी नहीं। इसलिए ईश्वर ने जो भी दिया है उसके लिए उसके आभारी रहिये और एक खुशहाल जीवन जीने का प्रयास करिये।

सदैव प्रसन्न रहिये - जो प्राप्त है, पर्याप्त है,
जिसका मन मस्त है - उसके पास समस्त है..

The Biggest Problem

It occurred a long time ago. A great learned scholar lived somewhere in the hills of the Himalayas. He was tired of living among people and now wanted to lead a simple life doing devotion to God. But his fame was so much that people wanted to meet him even after crossing the inaccessible hills, narrow paths, rivers and streams. People believed that this scholar can solve all their problems.

This time also some people reached his cottage looking for him. Pandit ji asked them to wait. Three days passed, now many more people reached there. When the space started getting less for the people, Pandit ji said, "Today I will answer all your questions, but you have to promise that after leaving here you will not tell about this place to anyone else, so that today's After that, I can do my spiritual practice by staying in solitude. Let us tell our problems.

On hearing this, someone started telling his problem, but he was able to speak only a few words that in the middle someone else started saying his point of view. Everyone knew that after today they would never get a chance to talk to Pandit ji. That's why they all wanted to keep their point as soon as possible. Within no time the scene there became like a fish market and finally Pandit ji had to shout, "Please calm down! Write your problems on a piece of paper and give it to me."

Everyone forwarded their problems in writing. Pandit ji took all the slips and put them in a basket and mixed them and said, "Pass this basket to each other. Everyone will pick up a slip and read it. Then he has to decide whether to solve his problem." Want to change from this problem?"

Everyone would pick up a piece of paper, read it and be horrified. One by one everyone saw the slips but no one was ready to take someone else's problem instead of their own. Everyone used to think that no matter how big their own problem is, it is not as serious as other people's problems. Two hours later everyone returned with their slips in hand, happy that their problem was not as big as they thought.

Who would be the one who does not have a single problem in his life? We all have problems in life, we think that the biggest problem is ours, but believe me, people in this world have so many big problems that we are nothing in front of them. So be thankful to God for whatever he has given and try to live a happy life.
