 हरे रंग का घोड़ा

एक दिन बादशाह अकबर अपने घोड़े पर शाही बाग की सैर कर रहे थे। बीरबल भी उनके साथ ही थे। बीरबल की वाकपटुता और अक्लमंदी के कारण राजकीय कार्यों के अलावा भी अकबर उनसे वाद  संवाद किया करते थे और उन्हें बीरबल का साथ भी पसंद था।

हरे भरे बागों में टहलते हुए अकबर की नजर घोड़े पर पड़ी, तो उन्होंने बीरबल से फरमाइश कर दी कि बीरबल हमें हरे रंग का घोड़ा ला कर दो।

अकबर की फरमाइश सुनकर बीरबल हैरत में पड़ गए। अकबर अक्सर विचित्र प्रश्न उनके सामने रखा करते थे, जिनका उत्तर वह अपनी बुद्धिमत्ता से दे दिया करते थे। लेकिन हरे रंग के घोड़े की मांग पूरा करना मुश्किल कार्य था, असंभव था। संभव होता भी कैसे? हरे रंग का घोड़ा तो होता ही नहीं है।

बीरबल कुछ ना बोल पाए। बीरबल की चुप्पी से अकबर की फरमाइश आदेश में तब्दील हो गई। बीरबल हम तुम्हें 7 दिन का समय देते हैं। 7 दिनों के अंदर तुम हरे रंग का घोड़ा हमारे सामने पेश करो, अन्यथा तुम्हें पद मुक्त कर दिया जाएगा।

बीरबल के पास हामी भरने के अलावा कोई और चारा नहीं था। यह उलजलूल कार्य सौंपने के पीछे अकबर का उद्देश्य बीरबल की परीक्षा लेना था। यह बात बीरबल अच्छी तरह समझते थे।

इधर अकबर मन ही मन बहुत खुश हुए, उन्हें यकीन था कि इस बार बीरबल हार जाएंगे।

उस दिन घर आकर कुछ देर अपना दिमाग दौड़ाने के बाद बीरबल सो गए। उसके बाद 6 दिन तक वह घर पर ही आराम करते रहे। सातवें दिन वह अकबर के समक्ष हाजिर हुए।

बीरबल को देख अकबर ने पूछा, "कहो बीरबल, हरे रंग का घोड़ा तुमने ढूंढ लिया?

बीरबल ने जवाब दिया, "जी जहांपनाह"।

"तो फिर देर किस बात की? उसे फौरन हमारे सामने लेकर आओ।" अकबर ने कहा।

"जहांपना! घोड़े के मालिक ने घोड़ा देने की 2 शर्तें रखी हैं" - बीरबल बोले।

"कौन सी दो शर्तें?" - अकबर ने पूछा।

"पहली यह कि घोड़ा लेने आपको स्वयं उसके मालिक के पास जाना होगा"।

"इस शर्त को पूरा करना कौन सी बड़ी बात है?"- अकबर ने कहा।

बीरबल हंस पड़े और बोले - हुजूर दूसरी शर्त तो सुन लीजिए।

अकबर ने कहा बताओ।

"हुजूर दूसरी शर्त यह है कि घोड़े को लेने आप उसके मालिक के पास सप्ताह के 7 दिनों को छोड़कर किसी भी दिन जा सकते हैं।"

"यह कैसी उलजलूल शर्त है" अकबर चकित होकर बोले।

"हुजूर जब कार्य उलजलुल है, तो शर्त भी तो उलजलुल ही होगी।" मुस्कुराते हुए बीरबल बोले।

अकबर, बीरबल की बात सुन कर मुस्कुरा उठे और बोले तुम्हें हरा पाना वाकई मुश्किल है।

 One day Emperor Akbar was visiting the royal garden on his horse. Birbal was also with him. Due to Birbal's eloquence and wisdom, Akbar used to communicate with him in addition to state functions and he also liked Birbal.

 Walking in the lush green gardens, Akbar looked at the horse, so he asked Birbal that Birbal bring us a green horse.

 Birbal was shocked to hear Akbar's request. Akbar often put bizarre questions in front of him, which he answered with his intelligence. But meeting the demand for a green horse was a difficult task, impossible. How could it have been possible? There is no green horse at all.

 Birbal could not say anything. Birbal's silence transformed Akbar's order. Birbal, we give you 7 days time. Within 7 days you present the green horse in front of us, otherwise you will be freed.

 Birbal had no choice but to agree. Akbar's purpose behind assigning this uljulul task was to take Birbal's exam. Birbal understood this thing very well.

 Akbar was very happy here, he was sure that Birbal would be defeated this time.

 After coming home that day, Birbal fell asleep after racing his mind for some time. After that, he continued to rest at home for 6 days. On the seventh day he appeared before Akbar.

 Seeing Birbal, Akbar asked, "Say Birbal, did you find the green horse?"

 Birbal replied, "G Jahanpanah".

 "Then what are you waiting for? Bring it to us immediately." Akbar said.

 "Jahapanna! The owner of the horse has put 2 conditions for giving the horse" - said Birbal.

 "Which two terms?" - Akbar asked.

 "First, you have to go to the owner of the horse yourself".

 "What is the big deal to fulfill this condition?" - said Akbar.

 Birbal laughed and said - listen to the second condition, Hazur.

 Akbar said, tell me.

 "The second condition is that you can go to the owner of the horse any day except 7 days a week."

 "What is this condition," Akbar said in amazement.

 "When the work is ulzulul, then the condition will also be ulzulul." Birbal said with a smile.

 Akbar, after listening to Birbal, smiled and said that it is really difficult to beat you.
