14 फरवरी 2019 को दक्षिण कश्मीर के पुलवामा में हुए सबसे बड़े आतंकवादी हमले को लेकर पूरे देश में नाराजगी की लहर थी। भारत के इतिहास में एक 'काला दिन' - 14 फरवरी, 2019। 14 फरवरी, 2021 को पुलवामा आतंकी हमले के दो साल पूरे हुए, जब जम्मू-कश्मीर के सबसे खराब आतंकी हमलों में 40 भारतीय सैनिक शहीद हो गए थे।

 पाकिस्तान स्थित जैश-ए-मोहम्मद आतंकवादी संगठन ने घटना के तुरंत बाद जिम्मेदारी ली।  आतंकवादी हमले के बाद जैश-ए-मोहम्मद ने दावा किया कि उसके आतंकवादी आदिल अहमद ने विस्फोटकों से भरे वाहन को उड़ा दिया।  यह तब हुआ जब एक आत्मघाती हमलावर ने एक आईईडी से लदी गाड़ी को सुरक्षा काफिले में घुसा दिया।  काफिले में 78 बसें थीं जिनमें लगभग 2500 कर्मचारी जम्मू से श्रीनगर की यात्रा कर रहे थे।  करीब 3:15 बजे अवंतीपोरा के पास हुए इस हमले में 40 सीआरपीएफ जवानों की मौत हो गई, जबकि कई अन्य घायल हो गए।

कुछ दिन बाद,हमले का दावा पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकवादी समूह जैश-ए-मोहम्मद (JeM) ने किया था।  22 साल के एक आत्मघाती हमलावर आदिल अहमद डार ने विस्फोटक से भरे वाहन को बस में घुसा दिया था।  JeM ने काकापोरा से हमलावर आदिल का एक वीडियो भी जारी किया था, जो एक साल पहले समूह में शामिल हुआ था।

There was a wave of outrage all over the country regarding the biggest terrorist attack in Pulwama, South Kashmir on 14 February 2019. A 'black day' in the history of India - February 14, 2019. February 14, 2021 marks two years of the Pulwama terror attack, when 40 Indian soldiers were martyred in one of the worst terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization took responsibility immediately after the incident.  After the terrorist attack, Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed that his terrorist Adil Ahmed blew up a vehicle full of explosives. It happened after a suicide bomber rammed an IED-laden vehicle into the security convoy. The convoy had 78 buses in which around 2,500 personnel were travelling from Jammu to Srinagar. The attack, which was reported near Awantipora at nearly 3:15 pm resulted in the death of 40 CRPF jawans, while many others were left injured.

Days later, the attack was claimed by Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). A 22-year-old suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar had rammed the explosive-laden vehicle into the bus. JeM had also released a video of the assailant Adil from Kakapora, who had joined the group a year earlier.
