चतुराई और बुद्धि के सही इस्तेमाल के लिए बीरबल के किस्से खूब मशहूर हैं। बादशाह अकबर के ऊपर आई मुसीबतों को बीरबल हमेशा चुटकियों में सुलझा देते थे। सिर्फ असल जिंदगी की परेशानी ही नहीं, बल्कि बादशाह के सपनों की गुत्थियों का जवाब भी बीरबल के पास होता था। ऐसा ही एक किस्सा है, बादशाह के अजीब सपने का। आइए, आपको सुनाते हैं पूरी कहानी।

एक बार की बात है, जब बादशाह अकबर गहरी नींद से अचानक उठ गए और फिर रात भर सो नहीं सके। वो बहुत परेशान थे, क्योंकि उन्होंने अजीब-सा सपना देखा था, जिसका मतलब वो समझ नहीं पा रहे थे। उन्होंने देखा कि उनके एक के बाद एक सारे दांत गिरते चले गए और आखिर में सिर्फ एक ही दांत बचा। इस सपने से वह इतने चिंतित हुए कि उन्होंने इसके बारे में सभा में चर्चा करने के बारे में सोचा।

अगले दिन सभा में पहुंचते ही अकबर ने अपने विश्वसनीय मंत्रियों को सपना सुनाया और सभी से राय मांगी। सभी ने उन्हें सुझाव दिया कि इस बारे में किसी ज्योतिष से बात करके सपने का मतलब समझना चाहिए। बादशाह को भी यह बात सही लगी।

अगले दिन उन्होंने दरबार में विद्वान ज्योतिषों को बुलवाया और अपना सपना सुनाया। इसके बाद सभी ज्योतिषों ने आपस में विचार-विमर्श किया। फिर उन्होंने बादशाह से कहा, “जहांपनाह, इस सपने का एक ही मतलब निकलता है कि आपके सभी रिश्तेदार आपसे पहले ही मर जाएंगे।”

ज्योतिषों की यह बात सुनकर अकबर को बहुत गुस्सा आया और उन्होंने सभी ज्योतिषों को दरबार से जाने का आदेश दिया। उन सभी के जाने के बाद बादशाह अकबर ने बीरबल को बुलाया और कहा, “बीरबल, तुम्हारे अनुसार हमारे सपने का मतलब क्या होगा?”

बीरबल ने कहा, “हुजूर, मेरे हिसाब से आपके सपने का मतलब यह था कि आपके सभी रिश्तेदारों में से आपकी उम्र सबसे ज्यादा होगी और आप उन सभी से ज्यादा समय तक जीते रहेंगे।” इस बात को सुनकर बादशाह अकबर बहुत खुश हो गए।

वहां मौजूद सभी मंत्रियों ने सोचा कि बीरबल ने भी ज्योतिषों की ही बात को दोहराया है। इतने में बीरबल ने उन मंत्रियों से कहा कि देखो, बात वही थी, बस कहने का तरीका अलग था। बात को हमेशा सही तरीके से सामने रखा जाना चाहिए। मंत्रियों को इतना कहकर बीरबल सभा से चले गए।

कहानी से सीख (Moral) :-

किसी भी बात को बोलने का एक सही तरीका होता है। विचलित करने वाली बात को भी सही तरीके से कहा जाए, तो उसका बुरा नहीं लगता।

Tales of Birbal are very famous for the use of cleverness and intelligence. Birbal always solved the problems faced by Emperor Akbar in a pinch. Birbal used to answer not only the problems of real life but also the kings of the king's dreams. One such anecdote is of the king's strange dream. Come, let us tell you the whole story.

 Once upon a time, when Emperor Akbar woke up suddenly from deep sleep and then could not sleep overnight. He was very upset because he had a strange dream, which he could not understand the meaning of. He noticed that all his teeth kept falling and he left only one tooth. He was so worried by this dream that he thought about discussing it in the gathering.

 On reaching the meeting the next day, Akbar narrated the dream to his trusted ministers and sought opinion from all. Everyone suggested to him that one should understand the meaning of the dream by talking to astrology about it. The king also found this thing right.

 The next day he called scholar astrologers in the court and narrated his dream. After this, all the astrologers discussed among themselves. Then he said to the emperor, "Jahanpanah, the only meaning of this dream is that all your relatives will die before you." Hearing this from the astrologers, Akbar got very angry and ordered all the astrologers to leave the court. After all of them left Emperor Akbar called Birbal and said, "Birbal, what would our dreams mean to you?"

 Birbal said, "Hujur, according to me your dream meant that you will be the oldest of all your relatives and you will live longer than all of them." Emperor Akbar became very happy on hearing this.

 All the ministers present there thought that Birbal also repeated the same thing about astrology. Birbal then told the ministers that, look, it was the same, the way of saying it was different. It should always be put in the right way. After saying so much to the ministers, Birbal left the assembly.

 Learning from the story (Moral): -

 There is a right way to say anything. Even if the disturbing thing is said correctly, it does not feel bad.
