पेड़ और चिड़िया की कहानी

एक नदी के किनारे दो पेड़ थे। उस रास्ते एक छोटी सी चिड़िया गुजरी और पहले पेड़ से पूछा-बारिश होने वाला है, क्या मैं और मेरे बच्चे तुम्हारे टहनी में घोसला बनाकर रह सकते हैं। उस पेड़ ने मना कर दिया। 

चिड़िया फिर दूसरे पेड़ के पास गई और वही सवाल पूछा। 

दूसरा पेड़ मान गया, चिड़िया अपने बच्चों के साथ खुशी-खुशी दूसरे पेड़ में घोसला बना कर रहने लगी। 

एक दिन इतनी अधिक बारिश हुई कि इसी दौरान पहला पेड़ जड़ से उखड़ कर पानी मे बह गया।

जब चिड़िया ने उस पेड़ को बहते हुए देखा तो कहा - "जब तुमसे मैं और मेरे बच्चे शरण के लिये आई तब तुमने मना कर दिया था, अब देखो तुम्हारे उसी रूखी बर्ताव की सजा तुम्हे मिल रही है।"

जिसका उत्तर पेड़ ने मुस्कुराते हुए दिया - "मैं जानता था मेरी जड़ें कमजोर हैं और इस बारिश में टिक नहीं पाऊंगा। मैं तुम्हारी और बच्चे की जान खतरे में नहीं डालना चाहता था, मना करने के लिए मुझे क्षमा कर दो" और ये कहते- कहते पेड़ बह गया। 

इनकार हमेशा बुरा नहीं होता है

किसी के इंकार को हमेशा उनकी कठोरता न समझें। क्या पता उसके उसी इंकार से हमारा भला हो। 

कौन किस परिस्थिति में है शायद हम नहीं समझ सकते, इसलिए किसी के चरित्र और शैली को उनके वर्तमान व्यवहार से ना तौलें।

English Translate 

Story of the Tree and the Bird

There were two trees on the bank of a river. A small bird passed that way and asked the first tree - It is going to rain, can I and my children live in your branch by making a nest. That tree refused.

The bird again went to another tree and asked the same question.

The second tree agreed, the bird started living happily with her children by building a nest in another tree.

One day it rained so much that during this time the first tree was uprooted and washed away in the water.

When the bird saw that tree flowing, it said - "When me and my children came to you for shelter, you had refused, now look, you are getting punished for your same rude behavior."

To which the tree replied with a smile - "I knew my roots were weak and would not be able to survive in this rain. I did not want to put your and the child's life in danger, forgive me for refusing" and said- It is said that the tree was swept away.

Denial Isn't Always bad

Don't always mistake someone's refusal for their harshness. Who knows if his same refusal will do us any good.

We may not understand who is in what situation, so don't judge someone's character and style by their current behavior.
