फिराक गोरखपुरी ~Firaq Gorakhpuri

मन के हारे हार है,मन के जीते जीत

संघर्षों पर लिखी उपरोक्त पंक्तियां आज भी लोगों की जुबान पर बरबस ही आ जाती हैं। इन पंक्तियों के लेखक श्री फिराक गोरखपुरी (Firaq Gorakhpuri) की आज पुण्य तिथि है।

           उर्दू के बेहतरीन शायर श्री फिराक गोरखपुरी (Firaq Gorakhpuri)  का असली नाम रघुपति सहाय था।  28 मार्च 1896 को गोरखपुर में जन्मे फिराक गोरखपुरी बचपन से ही अकूत प्रतिभा के धनी थे। स्नातक के बाद इनका चयन ICS में हो गया।कुछ दिन बाद महात्मा गांधी के विचारों से प्रेरित होकर ये नौकरी छोड़कर स्वन्त्रता संग्राम आंदोलन में कूद पड़े। कुछ समय बाद ये इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में अंग्रेज़ी के प्रवक्ता हो गए। हिंदी, उर्दू के साथ इनकी अंग्रेज़ी भाषा पर भी जबरदस्त पकड़ थी। मज़ाक में ये कहते थे कि "इस देश में सिर्फ ढाई लोग अच्छी अंग्रेज़ी जानते हैं। एक मैं, एक डॉ सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन और आधी जवाहर लाल नेहरू।"

आज के दौर में उनका एक शेर बिल्कुल सही लगता है...

"मजहब कोई लौटा ले..

और उसकी जगह दे दे..

तहजीब सलीके की..

इंसान करीने के।"

फिराक, नाराज़ भी होते थे और इसे जताते भी थे। एक बार इलाहाबाद  में एक मुशायरा हो रहा था । जैसे ही फिराक अपनी ग़ज़ल पढ़ने के लिए माइक के सामने खड़े हुए ,लोगों ने हंसना शुरू कर दिया। बिना कुछ समझे ये भड़क गए और चिल्लाकर बोले-

"लगता है आज मूंगफली बेचने वालों ने अपनी औलादों को मुशायरा सुनने भेज दिया।"

फिर पता चला कि उनकी शेरवानी के नीचे नाड़ा लटक रहा था। कैफ़ी आज़मी ने उठकर लटका हुआ नारा उनकी कमर में खोंस दिया।

  इन्हें अपने जीवन काल मे कई महत्वपूर्ण सम्मान भी हासिल हुए। इन्हें 1968 में पद्म भूषण, 1969 में ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार और 1970 में"गुल-ए-नगमा" कृति के लिए साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया।

फिराक साहब ने उर्दू ग़ज़ल में भी यहां की संस्कृति, गंगा जमुनी तहजीब परोसी। सूरदास के कृष्ण की परंपरा में उनकी रुबाई बहुत प्रसिद्ध हुई

"आंगन में ठुनक रहा ज़िदियाया है

बालक तो भाई चांद पे ललचाया है

दर्पण उसे दे के कह रही है माँ

देख,आईने में चांद उत्तर आया है।"

उनकी एक और मशहूर ग़ज़ल की लाइनें हैं

"बहुत पहले से उन कदमों की आहट जान लेते हैं

तुझे ऐ ज़िन्दगी हम दूर से ही पहचान लेते हैं।"

अपनी उम्दा शायरी की बदौलत ही वे आज भी हम सभी के दिलों में राज करते हैं। अपने बारे में उन्होंने खुद ही कहा था

"आने वाली नस्लें तुम पर रश्क करेंगी हम असरों

जब भी उनको ध्यान आएगा,तुमने फिराक को देखा है।"

उर्दू ग़ज़ल के क्लासिक मिज़ाज़ को नई ऊंचाई तक पहुचाने वाले शायर "फिराक गोरखपुरी" को शत शत नमन।

Firaq Gorakhpuri

 The above lines written on struggles are still very much on the tongue of the people even today. Today is the death anniversary of Shri Firak Gorakhpuri, author of these lines.

 Farak Gorakhpuri, the best poet of Urdu, his real name was Raghupati Sahai. Born in Gorakhpur on 28 March 1896, Firak Gorakhpuri was rich in talent since childhood. After graduation, he was selected in the ICS. A few days later, inspired by the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi, he quit the job and jumped into the freedom struggle movement. After some time he became the spokesperson for English at Allahabad University. Along with Hindi, Urdu, he also had a tremendous grip on the English language. He used to say in Mazak that "only two and a half people know good English in this country. One me, one Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and half Jawaharlal Nehru."

 In today's era, one of his lions seems perfect ...

 "Religion should be returned by someone ..

 And give it a place ..

 Tehzeeb's well-known ..

 There was a lot of anger and anger, and it was also known. Once upon a time there was a Mushaira in Allahabad. As Firaq stood in front of Mike to read his ghazal, people started laughing. Without understanding anything, he got angry and shouted -

 "Today, peanut sellers have sent their children to listen to Mushaira."

 Then it was revealed that a pulse was hanging under his sherwani. Kaifi Azmi got up and put the hanging slogan in his waist.

 He also received many important honors during his lifetime. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1968, the Jnanpith Award in 1969, and the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1970 for the work of "Gul-e-Nagma".

 Firaq sahib also served the culture here in the Urdu Ghazal, Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb. His rubai became very famous in the tradition of Krishna of Surdas.

 The mirror is telling her, mother

 Look, the moon has come north in the mirror. "

 He has another famous Ghazal lines

 "Long before those steps were known

 We recognize you from the door of your life. "

 They still rule in the hearts of all of us due to their excellent poetry. He said about himself

 "The coming breeds will curse you

 Whenever he comes to mind, you have seen Firaq. "

 A tribute to the poet "Firaq Gorakhpuri" who took the classic mood of Urdu ghazal to new heights.
