"जांग्ये डेनक्जिया जिओ पार्क" - इसे औपचारिक रूप से 16 जून 2016 को भूमि और संसाधन मंत्रालय द्वारा "झांझी नेशनल जियोपार्क" के रूप में नामित किया गया। इसकी खूबसूरत रंगीन राक संरचनाओं के कारण चीनी मीडिया आउटलेट्स द्वारा चीन में सबसे खूबसूरत लैंड फॉर्म में से एक के रूप में वोट दिया गया है।

 पार्क का मुख्य क्षेत्र Zhangye शहर के पश्चिम में 30 किलोमीटर लाइनस काउंटी के सीट से 20 किलोमीटर दक्षिण में स्थित है । यह पार्क का सबसे विकसित और सबसे अधिक दौरा किया जाने वाला क्षेत्र है। इसकी ऊंचाई समुद्र तल से 1500 से 2500 मीटर तक है।

इंद्रधनुष के रंगों में रंगी यह पहाड़ लाल, नींबू, हरे, मजेंटा आदि रंगों की धार धारी परत बनी हुई है। देखने में यह जगह किसी अजूबे से कम नहीं लगती है। इन पहाड़ों को देखकर किसी का भी मन खिल उठेगा। सूरज की किरणें पड़ने पर ये पहाड़ और भी खूबसूरत नजर आते हैं। 

इस पर्वत के रंग लोगों के लिए अभी भी किसी पहेली से कम नहीं है। वैज्ञानिकों का दावा है कि पर्वत की इंद्रधनुषी छटा यहां मौजूद प्रचुर मात्रा में खनिज तत्वों के कारण बनती है। पर्वत का लाल रंग आयरन ऑक्साइड, पीला आयरन सल्फाइड, हरा या नीला क्लोराइड की वजह से है। इन पहाड़ों के कई रंगों में पाए जाने के पीछे बर्फ का पिघलना और उसके जल में घुलने वाले खनिजों के निक्षेप से हुआ है।

इन पहाड़ों को देखने के लिए जून से सितंबर का समय सही रहता है। इस दौरान धूप और बारिश होने की वजह से रंग बिरंगी पहाड़ियों को देखने का मजा कुछ अलग ही होगा। इसके अलावा ठंड में पहाड़ों पर बर्फ जमा हो जाती है, ऐसे में रंगीन पहाड़िया देखने को नहीं मिलेंगे और दूसरा बर्फ सेडर की पहाड़ियां खतरनाक भी हो सकती हैं।
