अटल टनल (Atal Tunnel)

हिमाचल प्रदेश में पर्यटन का एक नया आकर्षण जुड़ गया है जिसका नाम है "अटल टनल"।

हिमाचल प्रदेश में रोहतांग सुरंग या अटल सुरंग है जो विश्व की सबसे बड़ी सुरंग है। यह सुरंग मनाली लेह राजमार्ग पर रोहतांग दर्रे के नीचे बनाई गई है जो लेह को मनाली से जोड़ेगी। इस टनल का उद्घाटन माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के द्वारा 3 अक्टूबर 2020 को किया गया। रोहतांग में स्थित 9.02 किलोमीटर लंबी यह टनल मनाली को लाहौल स्पीति जिले से जोड़ती है। 

अटल टनल का आकार घोड़े के नाल जैसा है, इसका दक्षिणी किनारा मनाली से 25 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर समुद्र तल से 3060 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है, जबकि उत्तरी किनारा लाहौल घाटी में तेलिंग और सिस्सू गांव के नजदीक समुद्र तल से 3071 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। 10.5 मीटर चौड़ी इस सुरंग पर 3.6 × 2.25 मीटर का फायर प्रूफ आपातकालीन निकास द्वार बना हुआ है। अटल टनल से रोजाना 3000 कारें और 1500 ट्रक 80 किलोमीटर की स्पीड से रोजाना निकल सकेंगे।इस टनल की निर्माण लागत लगभग ₹3200 करोड़ है इस प्रोजेक्ट का निर्माण लगभग 6 साल से कम समय में होना था लेकिन इसको पूरा होने में 10 साल लग गए। 

सुरक्षा के पर्याप्त इंतजाम

अटल टनल में सुरक्षा के पर्याप्त इंतजाम किए गए हैं ,हर 150 मीटर की दूरी पर टेलीफोन के इंतजाम किए गए हैं ताकि आपात स्थिति में संपर्क स्थापित किया जा सके। हर 60 मीटर की दूरी पर अग्निशमन यंत्र रखे गए हैं तथा 250 मीटर की दूरी पर सीसीटीवी ऑटोमेटिक इंसीडेंट डिटेक्शन सिस्टम की व्यवस्था है। 10.5 मीटर चौड़ी इस सुरंग में दोनों ओर 1-1 मीटर के फुटपाथ भी बनाए गए हैं। सुरंग के अंदर हर 500 मीटर पर 3.6 × 2.25 मीटर का फायर प्रूफ आपातकालीन निकास द्वार बना हुआ है।

         वायु की गुणवत्ता जानने के लिए हर 1 किलोमीटर पर मशीन लगी हुई है।

गौरतलब है कि रोहतांग दर्रे के नीचे इसको बनाने का ऐतिहासिक फैसला 3 जून 2000 को लिया गया था, जब अटल बिहारी वाजपेई देश के प्रधानमंत्री थे और इसकी आधारशिला 26 मई 2002 को रखी गई थी।पहले इसका नाम रोहतांग सुरंग था बाद में बदल कर इसका नाम देश के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न अटल बिहारी बाजपेई की याद में "अटल रोहतांग टनल" नाम दिया गया।

यह सुरंग महत्वपूर्ण क्यों!

इस सुरंग की वजह से मनाली और लाहौल स्पीति घाटी सालों भर एक दूसरे से जुड़े रह सकेंगे तथा मनाली और लेह के बीच की दूरी 46 किलोमीटर कम हो गई है।मनाली वैली से लाहौल और स्पीति वैली तक पहुंचने में लगभग 5 घंटे का समय लगता था, लेकिन इस टनल के रास्ते यह दूरी अब लगभग 10 मिनट में ही तय हो सकेगी । इससे पहले बर्फबारी की वजह से लाहौल स्पीति घाटी साल के 6 महीने देश के बाकी हिस्सों से कट जाती थी।यह सुरंग इसलिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि इससे ​​पाकिस्तान-चीन बॉर्डर पर भारत की ताकत बढ़ जाएगी​​ और रक्षा दृष्टिकोण से भी अहम है। लद्दाख में तैनात सैनिकों से बेहतर संपर्क बना रहेगा।इसके शुरू होने से लद्दाख ​का इलाका ​सालभर पूरी तरह से जुड़ा रहेगा।

सीमा सड़क संगठन (बीआरओ) ने प्रमुख भूवैज्ञानिक, भूभाग और मौसम की चुनौतियों पर काबू पाने के लिए जी तोड़ मेहनत की. इनमें सबसे कठिन प्रखंड 587 मीटर लंबा सेरी नाला फॉल्ट जोन शामिल है, दोनों छोर पर सफलता 15 अक्टूबर, 2017 को मिली.

Earlier it was named Rohtang Tunnel and later changed its name. The name was named "Atal Rohtang Tunnel" in memory of former Prime Minister of India Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Bajpai.

 Why this tunnel is important!

 This tunnel will allow Manali and Lahaul Spiti Valley to be connected to each other for years and the distance between Manali and Leh has been reduced by 46 kilometers. It took about 5 hours to reach Manali Valley to Lahaul and Spiti Valley. , But this distance through this tunnel will now be able to cover in about 10 minutes. Earlier, due to snowfall, the Lahaul Spiti valley was cut 6 months a year from the rest of the country. This tunnel is also important because it will increase India's strength on the Pakistan-China border and also from the defense point of view. Is important. There will be better contact with the troops deployed in Ladakh. With this, the area of ​​Ladakh will be fully connected throughout the year.
