दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा

शहंशाह अकबर अपनी सल्तनत में सभी का बहुत अच्छे से ख्याल रखते थे। कोई उनकी सुविधाओं से वंचित ना रह जाए इसलिए वह वहां भेष बदल बदल कर घूमा करते थे और लोगों के बीच जाकर लोगों की परेशानियों का अनुभव करते थे कि कोई उनकी सल्तनत में दुखी तो नहीं है।

1 दिन शहंशाह अकबर अपने दरबार में अपने बेटे को गोद में खिला रहे थे। अकबर का बेटा बहुत खूबसूरत था। लोग उसे देखते ही तारीफ किए बिना नहीं रहते थे।

             जब अकबर अपने बेटे को खिला रहे थे तो दरबार में बैठे सभी लोग उसकी तारीफ करने लगे।

दरबारी - जहांपना आपका बेटा दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा है। शहजादे जैसा दुनिया में और दूसरा कोई बच्चा नहीं है।

अकबर - हां मुझे भी ऐसा ही लगता है।

दरबारी -  हां हां जहांपना बिल्कुल।

अकबर - तुम क्या कहते हो बीरबल। तुम्हें क्या लगता है ? हमारा शहजादा दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा है।
बीरबल - जहांपना मुझे ऐसा नहीं लगता, लेकिन मैं यह नहीं कह रहा शहजादे खूबसूरत नहीं हैं ।

अकबर - क्या, क्या तुम्हें ऐसा लगता है हमारे शहजादे खूबसूरत नहीं हैं।

बीरबल - नहीं जहांपना मैंने ऐसा तो नहीं कहा। मेरी बात को आप गलत ना समझें।  मेरे कहने का मतलब है कि शहजादे खूबसूरत तो हैं , लेकिन और भी कुछ बच्चे दुनिया में खूबसूरत हो सकते हैं।

अकबर - क्या तुम्हारे कहने का मतलब है शहजादे पूरी दुनिया में सबसे खूबसूरत नहीं हैं।

बीरबल - जहांपना मेरे कहने का मतलब है कि दुनिया में शहजादे ही एक ऐसे नहीं है जो सबसे खूबसूरत हैं।

अकबर -  बीरबल, आज तुमने हमारे दिल को बहुत ठेस पहुंचाई है। तुम साबित करके दिखाओ शहजादे से भी ज्यादा और खूबसूरत कोई बच्चा है। उसे हमारे सामने पेश करो।

बीरबल - जी जहांपना, मुझे लगता है और मुझे पूरा भरोसा है। मैं इस बात को साबित कर सकता हूं।

अकबर - जाओ इस बात को साबित करके दिखाओ और तब तक मुझे अपनी शक्ल मत दिखाना।

                और फिर क्या था बीरबल शहजादे से भी ज्यादा खूबसूरत बच्चे की तलाश में निकल गए। कुछ दिनों बाद बीरबल  दरबार में हाजिर  हुए।

अकबर - बीरबल, क्या तुम्हें शहजादे से ज्यादा खूबसूरत बच्चा मिल गया?

बीरबल - जहांपना मैं दरबार में यही बताने आया हूं कि मैंने सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा ढूंढ लिया है।

अकबर -  ढूंढ लिया है तो उसे दरबार में क्यों नहीं लाए? कहां है।

बीरबल - जहांपना, मैं उस बच्चे को तो यहां नहीं ला सका, लेकिन मैं आपको वहां जरूर ले जाऊंगा। ताकि आप कुछ समझ पाए।

अकबर -  यहां क्यों नहीं आ सकता ? अच्छा ठीक है मैं ही वहां जाऊंगा। कल सुबह हम लोग वहां जाएंगे।

बीरबल -  जी जहांपना, हम कल सुबह ही वहां जाएंगे। लेकिन जहांपना हमें वहां भेष  बदलकर जाना होगा। अकबर - ठीक है।

           शहंशाह अकबर और बीरबल अगली सुबह उस बच्चे के पास जाते हैं, जो बच्चा बहुत ही गरीब होता है और छोटी सी झोपड़ी में रहता है और वह वहां मिट्टी में खेलता होता है। गंदे वस्त्र पहने हुए था।
बीरबल - यह है दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा।
अकबर -  तुम्हारा दिमाग खराब हो गया है, जो इतने बदसूरत बच्चे को दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा बता रहे हो।

                 यह सुनकर बच्चा  बहुत जोरों से रोने लगता है। उसी समय बच्चे की माँ वहां पर आती है और अकबर से कहती है -"तुम्हारी हिम्मत कैसे हुई मेरे बच्चे को बदसूरत कहने की। मेरा लाल दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा है। आज के बाद तुमने ऐसी बात कहीं तो मैं तुम्हारी हड्डी पसली तोड़ दूंगी। चले जाओ यहां से, आज के बाद यहां मत आना।  अपनी शक्ल कभी मत दिखाना।"

       

      उसके बाद वह अपने बच्चे को लाड़ दुलार करने लगी।  मेरा बच्चा दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा है। उस बच्चे की माँ की यह बात सुनकर अकबर बिल्कुल खामोश हो गए।
बीरबल - कुछ समझ आया जहांपना।
अकबर -मैं अच्छी तरह समझ गया बीरबल। मां-बाप के लिए उसका बच्चा चाहे कैसा भी हो उसके लिए दुनिया का सबसे खूबसूरत बच्चा होता है। अकबर तुम सही कह रहे हो।
बीरबल - हर मां बाप के लिए अपना बच्चा खूबसूरत होता है। मेरे कहने का मकसद सिर्फ इतना था कि आप दुनिया की चापलूसी में ना फंस कर शहजादे को अच्छी तालीम दें। मैं तो सिर्फ आपका भला चाहता हूं।
अकबर -  बीरबल तुमने एक बार फिर से साबित कर दिया कि तुम हमारे सच्चे दोस्त हो। तुमने बिना डरे हमें यह बात समझाया। बहुत खूब बीरबल।

                Emperor Akbar took very good care of everyone in his sultanate.  Nobody is deprived of their facilities, so he used to roam there disguised and go among the people and feel the troubles of the people that someone is unhappy in their sultanate.

               On day 1, Emperor Akbar was feeding his son in his lap in his court.  Akbar's son was very beautiful.  People did not live without praising him on seeing him.

              When Akbar was feeding his son, everyone in the court started praising him.

 Courtier - Your son is the most beautiful child in the world.  There is no other child in the world like Shahzade.
