डुल्या मारुति पूना के गणेशपेठ में स्थापित हनुमान मंदिर, जो लगभग 300 साल पुराना अति भव्य और प्राचीन मंदिर है। सन् 1600 के आस-पास बना यह पेशवा कालीन ऐतिहासिक मंदिर है, जिसे डुल्या मारुति मंदिर के नाम से ख्याति प्राप्त है। मंदिर में स्थापित बजरंगबली की प्रतिमा को साधारण से एक काले पत्थर पर अंकित किया गया है। मंदिर में स्थापित हनुमान जी के इस रूप को डुल्या मारुति के नाम से जाना जाता है। 

ये मूर्ति 5 फुट उंची और ढाई फुट चौड़ी है, जो पश्चिम मुखी है। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार इस मंदिर का निर्माण छत्रपति शिवाजी के गुरु श्री समर्थ रामदास द्वारा करवाया गया था। समर्थ रामदास का मूल नाम नारायण सूर्याजीपंत कुलकर्णी (ठोसर) था। इनका जन्म महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद जिले के जंब नामक स्थान पर रामनवमी के दिन दोपहर में ब्राह्मण परिवार में शके 1533 सन 1608 में हुआ था। इनके पिता का नाम सूर्याजी पंत था। माना जाता है कि इनके कुल में 21 पीढ़ी से सूर्योपासना की परंपरा चली आ रही थी। यहीं कारण था कि इनके पिता और खुद समर्थ रामदास जी सूर्य के बहुक बड़े उपासक थे। 

लोक मान्यता के अनुसार इन्होंने ना केवल महाराष्ट्र में हनुमान में मंदिर की स्थापना की, बल्कि यहां रामभक्ति के साथ-साथ हनुमान भक्ति का भी प्रचार किया। इसके साथ ही यहां अखाड़े बनवाए, जिसने महाराष्ट्र के सैनिकीकरण की नींव रखी, जिसने प्राचीन समय में राज्य स्थापना को बदल के रख दिया। मंदिर परिसर के सभा मंडप में मुख्य द्वार के ठीक सामने छत से एक पीतल का घंटा टंगा हुआ है, जिसके ऊपर शक संवत 1700 अंकित है। इस बात के अंदाज़ा लगाया जा सकता है कि ये मंदिर कितना पुराना है। 

         

मंदिर की विशेषता है कि संपूर्ण मंदिर पत्थर का बना हुआ है। तथा हनुमान जी का मूल विग्रह एक काले पत्थर से निर्मित है। यह मूर्ति पश्चिम मुखी पांच फुट ऊंची तथा तीन फुट चौड़ी है। हनुमानजी की इस मूर्ति के पास नवग्रह स्थापित हैं।

पुणे का शहरीकरण होने के कारण, आज यह मंदिर लक्ष्मी रोड और जगताप रोड को मिलाने वाले चौराहे पर स्थित है। मंदिर से 20 कदम दूर श्री सिद्धिविनायक मंदिर स्थित है।

Dulya Maruti

Dulya Maruti Hanuman temple located in Ganeshpeth, Pune, is a very grand and ancient temple which is about 300 years old. Built around 1600, this is a historical temple of Peshwa period, which is famous as Dulya Maruti temple. The idol of Bajrangbali installed in the temple is carved on a simple black stone. This form of Hanuman ji installed in the temple is known as Dulya Maruti.

This idol is 5 feet high and 2.5 feet wide, which is west facing. According to mythology, this temple was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji's guru Shri Samarth Ramdas. Samarth Ramdas's original name was Narayan Suryajipant Kulkarni (Thosar). He was born in a Brahmin family in the afternoon on the day of Ramnavami at a place called Jamb in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra in Shaka 1533 AD 1608. His father's name was Suryaji Pant. It is believed that the tradition of Surya Poojan was going on in his family for 21 generations. This was the reason that his father and Samarth Ramdas ji himself were great worshippers of Surya.

According to popular belief, he not only established a temple of Hanuman in Maharashtra, but also propagated Hanuman Bhakti along with Ram Bhakti here. Along with this, he built Akharas here, which laid the foundation of militarization of Maharashtra, which changed the state establishment in ancient times. In the Sabha Mandap of the temple complex, a brass bell is hanging from the ceiling right in front of the main gate, on which Shak Samvat 1700 is inscribed. From this, one can guess how old this temple is.

The specialty of the temple is that the entire temple is made of stone. And the original idol of Hanuman ji is made of a black stone. This idol is west-facing and five feet high and three feet wide. Navgrahas are installed near this idol of Hanuman ji.

Due to urbanization of Pune, today this temple is located at the intersection of Laxmi Road and Jagtap Road. Shri Siddhivinayak Temple is located 20 steps away from the temple.
