लखनऊ के चारबाग स्टेशन से दिनांक 28 8 2023 को बड़े ही धूमधाम से रेल कोच रेस्टोरेंट का शुभारंभ हुआ।इस रेस्टोरेंट का उद्घाटन वहां पर आए एक यात्री ने किया। 

जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं लखनऊ अपने नजाकत और लजीज व्यंजन के लिए जाना जाता है। और अब यहां लखनऊ का पहला रेल कोच रेस्टोरेंट खुल गया है। इस रेस्टोरेंट में खास बात यह है, कि यहां देशभर के सभी राज्यों के प्रसिद्ध और जायकेदार खान 24 * 7 उपलब्ध रहेगा। दुनिया भर के कोने-कोने के लोग यहां सातों दिन 24 घंटे जायकेदार खाने का लुत्फ उठा सकेंगे।

यह रेस्टोरेंट लगभग 1600 वर्ग फुट में फैला है और चारबाग मेट्रो और रेलवे स्टेशनों के ठीक बीच में बनाया गया है, इस रेस्‍टोरेंट को एक ट्रेन की बोगी में बनाया गया है, लोग रेस्‍टोरेंट पर सीढ़ियों से चढ़कर जाएंगे और ट्रेन के कोच फूड रेस्टोरेंट में बैठकर खिड़कियों से चारबाग रेलवे स्टेशन का नजारा देख सकेंगे। रेस्‍टोरेंट में एक वक्‍त में 50 लोग बैठकर खाना खा सकेंगे। वहीं 30 से ज्यादा लोग बाहर बैठकर खाना खा सकेंगे। नॉदर्न रेलवे ने इस रेस्‍टोरेंट के लिए अपने पुराने और कबाड़ कोच 5 साल के लिए लीज पर दिए हैं। साथ ही इन्‍हें री डिजाइन करने के लिए परमीशन भी दी है।
