आनेवाले प्रलय का संकेत देता है उत्तराखंड का नरसिंह मंदिर

उत्तराखंड के धार्मिक महत्व और पूरे राज्य में पाए जाने वाले कई हिंदू मंदिरों और तीर्थस्थलों के कारण इसे अक्सर "देवभूमि" ('देवताओं की भूमि') के रूप में जाना जाता है। इन्हीं मंदिरों में से एक है, नरसिंह मंदिर जिसके बारे में मान्यता है कि यह आने वाले प्रलय का संकेत देता है। 

देवभूमि उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में स्थित इस मंदिर की मान्यता है कि यह हमेशा प्रलय के संकेत देता है। नरसिंह मंदिर जोशीमठ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। यह मंदिर भगवान नरसिंह को समर्पित है, जो लक्ष्मीपति भगवान विष्णु के चौथे अवतार हैं। बताया जाता है कि इस मंदिर की मूर्ति का निर्माण राजा ललितादित्य युक्का पीडा ने किया था। 

हालांकि कुछ लोग यह भी मानते हैं कि शालिग्राम से एक यह मूर्ति स्वयं प्रकट हुई थी। यहां भगवान नरसिंह एक कमल पर विराजमान हैं। यहां भगवान नरसिंह के साथ बद्रीनाथ, कुबेर और उद्धव भी स्थापित हैं। इस मंदिर में भगवान राम और सीता की मूर्ति भी विराजमान है। कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि इस मंदिर की स्थापित भगवान नरसिंह की मूर्ति हर साल पतली होती है। मूर्ति की बाईं कलाई पतली है और हर गुजरते दिन के साथ पतली ही होती जा रही है, मान्यताओं के अनुसार, जिस दिन कलाई बिल्कुल कम होकर प्रतिमा से अलग हो जाएगी, उस दिन बद्रीनाथ (Badrinath) को जाने वाला रास्ता हमेशा के लिए बंद हो जाएगा, यह भी कहा जाता है कि इस दिन प्रलय आएगी और भूस्खलन के कारण यह रास्‍ता अवरुद्ध हो जाएगा।

बद्रीनाथ के नर और नारायण पर्वत एक हो जाएंगे और वर्तमान में जहां बदरीनाथ की पूजा होती है वहां नहीं हो पाएगी। फिर यह जोशीमठ के तपोवन क्षेत्र में स्थित भविष्य बदरी मंदिर में भगवान बद्रीनाथ के दर्शन होंगे।

केदारखंड के सनतकुमार संहिता में भी इसका उल्लेख मिलता है। भविष्य बदरी मंदिर के पास ही एक पत्थर पर आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य ने एक भविष्य वाणी भी लिखी है।

मान्यता है कि आज तक यह भविष्य वाणी कोई भी नहीं पढ़ पाया है। भगवान नरसिंह को अपने भक्त प्रह्लाद की रक्षा करने के लिए और राक्षस हिरण्यकश्यप का वध करने के लिए जाना जाता है। भगवान नरसिंह दैत्‍य राजा हिरण्‍यकश्‍यप को मारने के लिए खंभे को फाड़कर प्रकट हुए थे और उन्‍होंने आधा रूप नर का और आधा सिंह का रखा था, इसलिए उन्‍हें नरसिंह कहा गया। भगवान नरसिंह के वैसे तो कई मंदिर हैं लेकिन उत्तराखंड के चामोली जिले के जोशीमठ में स्थित यह मंदिर बहुत खास है। इस मंदिर को लेकर एक मान्‍यता है कि इसका सीधा संबंध आपदा से है।

Uttarakhand's Narsingh temple gives indication of coming holocaust

It is often referred to as "Devbhoomi" ('Land of the Gods') because of Uttarakhand's religious importance and the many Hindu temples and pilgrimage centers found throughout the state. One of these temples is the Narasimha Temple, which is believed to foreshadow the coming holocaust.

This temple located in Chamoli district of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is believed to always give signs of holocaust. Narasimha Temple is famous by the name of Joshimath. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lakshmipati Lord Vishnu. It is said that the idol of this temple was built by King Lalitaditya Yukka Peeda.

However, some people also believe that this idol was self-manifested from Shaligram. Here Lord Narasimha is seated on a lotus. Badrinath, Kubera and Uddhava are also established here along with Lord Narasimha. The idol of Lord Rama and Sita is also enshrined in this temple. Some people believe that the idol of Lord Narasimha installed in this temple gets thinner every year. The left wrist of the idol is thin and getting thinner with each passing day, according to beliefs, the day the wrist will be completely cut off from the idol, the road to Badrinath will be closed forever. It is also said that doomsday will come on this day and this way will be blocked due to landslides.

The male and Narayan mountains of Badrinath will become one and will not be able to happen where Badrinath is worshiped at present. Then it will be darshan of Lord Badrinath at Bhavishya Badri Temple located in Tapovan area of Joshimath.

It is also mentioned in Sanatkumar Samhita of Kedarkhand. Adi Guru Shankaracharya has also written a prophetic speech on a stone near Bhavishya Badri temple.

It is believed that till date no one has been able to read this prophecy. Lord Narasimha is known for protecting his devotee Prahlad and killing the demon Hiranyakashyap. Lord Narasimha appeared after tearing the pillar to kill the demon king Hiranyakashyap and assumed the form of half male and half lion, hence he was called Narasimha. Although there are many temples of Lord Narasimha, but this temple located in Joshimath of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is very special. There is a belief about this temple that it is directly related to disaster.
