भागसुनाग मंदिर, भागसुनाग वॉटरफॉल

जैसा कि आप सभी जानते हैं, देव भूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश अपने प्राकृतिक खूबसूरती और ऐतिहासिक धार्मिक स्थलों के लिए विख्यात है। यहां प्राकृतिक और धार्मिक पर्यटन स्थल मौजूद हैं। इन्हीं पर्यटन स्थलों में से एक है भागसुनाग मंदिर तथा भागसुनाग वॉटरफॉल, जो हिमाचल प्रदेश के मैकलोडगंज से लगभग 2 किलोमीटर दूर धौलाधार की ऊंची पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं के आंचल में स्थित है। यहाँ धर्म और प्रकृति का अनूठा संगम देखने को मिलता है।

अब वो जमाने लद गये जब लोग सिर्फ मनाली, शिमला घूमकर वापस आ जाते थे, अब लोग हिमाचल प्रदेश की नई - नई जगहों को घूमना पसंद करते हैं। इसी क्रम में आज हम आपको रूबरू कराने जा रहे हैं, हिमाचल प्रदेश की बेहद खूबसूरत डेस्टिनेशन भाग्सू से, जोकि भाग्सूनाग के नाम से विख्यात है।

भाग्सूनाग (Bhagsunag):

भागसु अपनी प्राकृतिक और धार्मिक खूबसूरती के लिए जाना जाता है। हिमाचल प्रदेश के धर्मशाला नगर में मैकलॉडगंज के करीब स्थित भागसू एक सुंदर पर्यटन स्थान है, जोकि अपने प्राचीन मंदिर और सुरम्य झरने के लिए जाना जाता है। भागसुनाग मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है। मैक्लोडगंज से भागसु शहर सिर्फ 3 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है। भागसु शहर में जो भी पर्यटक आता है, वह भागसुनाग मंदिर घूमे बिना यहां से नहीं जाता है। शिव जी का यह मंदिर बहुत प्राचीन है और हर साल यहां भक्तों का भारी जमावड़ा लगता है। भागसुनाग मंदिर के साथ यहां भागसुनाग वॉटरफॉल के मजे भी ले सकते हैं। भागसुनाग वॉटरफॉल में बहता पानी इतना शीतल है कि यह लोगों के दिलों में बस जाता है। 

भागसुनाग मंदिर 

यह प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल भगवान शिव को समर्पित है जो समुद्र तल से लगभग 1770 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। भागसुनाग मंदिर मध्ययुगीन काल की कला और संस्कृति को दर्शाता है। मंदिर को लेकर मान्यता है कि लगभग 5000 साल पहले नाग देवता का पवित्र नाग का डल झील से पानी चुराने वाले एक स्थानीय राजा भागसु के साथ युद्ध हुआ था। युद्ध में राजा भागसु की हार हुई थी और हार के बाद भागसु ने नाग देवता से माफी मांग ली थी। नाग देवता ने राजा भागसु को क्षमा कर दिया था और इस स्थल को भागसुनाग के रूप में स्थापित किया गया।

खूबसूरत भागसूनाग झरना: 

मंदिर से कुछ ही दूरी पर भागसूनाग झरना स्थित है। इसका पानी एकदम निर्मल और बहुत ठंडा है। इसके अंदर पैर डालने पर लग रहा था मानो पैर जम जायेंगे। यहां लोग घंटों पत्थरों पर बैठकर झरने की फुहारों का आनंद लेते हैं। यहां मंदिर परिसर के अंदर खूबसूरत तालाब और बाघ सिर से निकलते पानी के झरने हैं। बाघ वाटरफॉल यहां का एक लोकप्रिय पर्यटक स्थल है, जहां की खूबसूरती प्राकृतिक प्रेमियों को बहुत रास आती है। मानसून के समय तो झरने से मूसलाधार पानी गिरता है, परंतु इस समय यहां पानी सुखा हुआ है और पानी की पतली धार ही नीचे आ रही है।

जहाँ पत्थरों पर बैठकर मनोहारी झरने का लुत्फ़ उठाना था, वहीं एक साइड में छोटी सी एक दुकान थी, वहाँ हमलोग मैगी खाये और कोल्ड ड्रिंक पिए। खाने पीने की चर्चा इसलिए लिख रही हूँ क्यूंकि यहाँ मजे की बात ये थी कि यहाँ कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स फ्रिज में ठंडे नहीं हो रहे थे, बल्कि झरने से गिरते पानी में हो रहे थे। 

बड़ों से ज्यादा यहां बच्चों का मन लगता है। हमसे ज्यादा खुश बच्चे थे, पानी में पैर डाले बैठे थे और आगे चलने का नाम नहीं ले रहे थे। वैसे सही बात ये थी कि उतनी ऊंचाई पर जाने के बाद मेरी हालत भी ऐसी ही थी कि वहीं पानी में पैर जमाये बैठे रहें। पर यहाँ से आगे दलाई लामा के मोनेस्ट्री (Namgyal Monastery) भी जाना था।

Bhagsunag Temple, Bhagsunag Waterfall

As you all know, Dev Bhoomi Himachal Pradesh is famous for its natural beauty and historical religious places. Natural and religious tourist places are present here. One of these tourist places is Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsunag Waterfall, which is located in the high mountain ranges of Dhauladhar, about 2 km from Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh. A unique confluence of religion and nature is seen here.

Gone are the days when people used to come back only after visiting Manali, Shimla, now people like to visit new places of Himachal Pradesh. In this sequence, today we are going to introduce you to the very beautiful destination of Himachal Pradesh, Bhagsu, which is famous by the name of Bhagsunag.

Bhagsunag:

Bhagsu is known for its natural and religious beauty. Bhagsu is a beautiful tourist destination located near McLeodganj in Dharamshala town of Himachal Pradesh, which is known for its ancient temples and picturesque waterfalls. Bhagsunag Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bhagsu city is just 3 kilometers away from McLeodganj. Any tourist who comes to the city of Bhagsu does not leave without visiting the Bhagsunag temple. This temple of Shiva is very ancient and every year there is a huge gathering of devotees. Along with the Bhagsunag temple, one can also enjoy the Bhagsunag Waterfall here. The water flowing in Bhagsunag Waterfall is so cold that it settles in the hearts of the people.

Bhagsunag Temple

This famous religious place dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated at an altitude of about 1770 meters above sea level. The Bhagsunag temple reflects the art and culture of the medieval period. It is believed about the temple that about 5000 years ago the Nag Devta had a war with a local king Bhagsu, who stole water from the holy Nag Ka Dal Lake. King Bhagsu was defeated in the war and after the defeat, Bhagsu apologized to the snake god. King Bhagsu was forgiven by the serpent god and this place was established as Bhagsunag.

Beautiful Bhagsunag Waterfall:

Bhagsunag Waterfall is situated at a short distance from the temple. Its water is very clear and very cold. Putting feet inside it seemed as if the feet would freeze. Here people sit on the stones for hours and enjoy the showers of the waterfall. There are beautiful ponds and water springs coming out of the tiger head inside the temple premises. Bagh Waterfall is a popular tourist spot here, where the beauty of nature is very much liked by the lovers. During monsoon, torrential water falls from the waterfall, but at this time the water is dry and only a thin stream of water is coming down.

Where we had to sit on the stones and enjoy the beautiful waterfall, there was a small shop on one side, where we ate Maggi and drank cold drinks. I am writing the discussion of food and drink because the interesting thing here was that the cold drinks were not getting cold in the fridge, but in the water falling from the spring.

Children feel more here than adults. The children were happier than us, sitting with their feet in the water and not taking the name of walking forward. By the way, the right thing was that after going to such a height, my condition was also such that I should sit there with my feet in the water. But from here onwards, the Dalai Lama's Monastery also had to go.
