प्रकृति में कई ऐसे अजूबे हैं, जिन्हें देखकर हर कोई हैरान रह जाता है। ऐसा ही कुछ हैरान करने वाला नजारा दिखाई दिया था, इंडोनेशिया में।

इंडोनेशिया के बनयुवांगी में स्थित "कवाह इजेन ज्वालामुखी (Kawah Ijen Volcano)" अपने आप में दुनिया का सबसे अनोखा ज्वालामुखी है। इस ज्वालामुखी के फटने के बाद उसमें से निकलने वाला लावा लाल नहीं बल्कि नीले रंग का है।

खबरों के अनुसार, इंडोनेशिया का "कवाह इजेन ज्वालामुखी (Kawah Ijen Volcano)" नामक ज्वालामुखी से फटने के बाद इलेक्ट्रिक लावा निकला जो बहते हुए नीचे आया। रात में ली गई तस्वीरों में लावा नीले रंग का नजर आ रहा है।

पेरिस के रहने वाले ओलिवियर ग्रूनेवाल्ड (Olivier grunewald), जो एक फोटोग्राफर हैं, सालों से इस ज्वालामुखी की तस्वीरें खींचकर इस पर रिसर्च कर रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि नीली आभा लावे की नहीं है, जब सल्फ्यूरिक गैसेस ज्वालामुखी से बाहर आती हैं, और ऑक्सीजन से भरे वातावरण में मिलती हैं, तो नीला प्रकाश निकालती है। ये देखने में ऐसा लगता है, जैसे कोई नीली नदी बह रही हो। नीला रंग रात में या दिन ढलने के बाद बहुत ही आकर्षक लगता है, इसलिए अधिकतर टूरिस्ट रात में ही इस ज्वालामुखी को देखने के लिए आते हैं।

वैज्ञानिकों का भी मानना है कि यहां नीली आभा लावे कि नहीं बल्कि सल्फर की है, जो भारी मात्रा में ज्वालामुखी के नीचे दबा है। सल्फर गैस जलने से ऐसी आभा नजर आती है।

इसके लावा के चलते ही यहां अम्लीय झील बन गई है, जो दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी एसिडिक झील (Lake)  है। इसमें हाइड्रोक्लोरिक एसिड की मात्रा बहुत अधिक है। इससे हरे और नीले रंग की रोशनी निकलती है, जिसके पीछे इस में घुली हुई धातुओं का हाथ है।

The "Kawah Ijen Volcano" located in Banyuwangi, Indonesia is the world's most unique volcano in itself. After the eruption of this volcano, the lava coming out of it is not red but blue in color.

According to reports, after erupting from a volcano named "Kawah Ijen Volcano" in Indonesia, electric lava came out which came down flowing. In the pictures taken at night, the lava appears to be blue.

Paris-based Olivier Gruenewald, a photographer, has been researching this volcano for years by photographing it. They say that the blue aura is not that of lava, which emits blue light when sulfuric gases come out of the volcano and mix with the oxygen-rich atmosphere. It looks as if a blue river is flowing. The blue color looks very attractive at night or after sunset, so most of the tourists come to see this volcano only at night.

Scientists also believe that the blue aura here is not of lava, but of sulphur, which is buried under the volcano in huge quantities. Such an aura is seen by burning sulfur gas.

Due to its lava, an acidic lake has been formed here, which is the largest acidic lake in the world. The amount of hydrochloric acid in it is very high. It emits green and blue light, due to which the dissolved metals are behind it.
