गणपति मंदिर, तसगांव (Ganpati Temple, Tasgaon)

भगवान गणपति मंदिर (Ganpati Temple) भारत के महाराष्ट्र राज्य में सांगली जिले के तसगांव शहर में स्थित है। अधिकांश गणपति की मूर्ति में सूंड बाईं तरफ होता है, जबकि इस गणपति मंदिर (Ganpati Temple) की मूर्ति की सूंड दाईं तरफ झुकती है। दाईं ओर मुड़ी हुई सूंड वाले गणपति को सक्रिय (जागृत) कहा गया है। इस गणपति मंदिर (Ganpati Temple) में गणपति को जीवित मूर्ति के रूप में माना जाता है, जो भक्तों को सौभाग्य, ज्ञान, समृद्धि और खुशी का आशीर्वाद देने के लिए है। मूर्ति को ठोस सोने से सजाया गया है, जिसका वजन 125 किलोग्राम है।

इतिहास

परशुराम भाऊ पटवर्धन नाना साहब पेशवा के सरसेनापति थे जिन्होंने इस तसगांव संस्थान की स्थापना की थी। राजे परशुराम ने दक्षिण भारत में टीपू सुल्तान के खिलाफ 100 से अधिक युद्ध लड़े थे। उस समय टीपू सुल्तान दक्षिण भारत के मंदिरों और उनकी पूजा की संस्कृति से बहुत प्रभावित थे।

डिजाइन

गणपति के मंदिर का निर्माण सन 1779 में परशुरामभाऊ पटवर्धन द्वारा शुरू किया गया था और 1799 में उनके बेटे अप्पा पटवर्धन द्वारा पूरा किया गया था। यह निर्माण हिंदू- वडार जाति के लोगों द्वारा किया गया था। इसकी वास्तु कला दक्षिण भारतीय मंदिर निर्माण से मिलती जुलती है

त्योहार

भाद्रपद चतुर्थी के अगले दिन शहर में बहुत बड़ा उत्सव होता है । इस शुभ अवसर को मनाने के लिए हजारों लोग इकट्ठा होते हैं यह त्यौहार सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक आयोजन है जो एक साथ लोगों को मिलाने में मदद करता है। यहां गणपति डेढ़ दिन तक रहते हैं। गणपति के विसर्जन के लिए दोपहर में जुलूस शुरू होता है 30 फीट का रथ इस अवसर के लिए विशेष रूप से सजाया जाता है। भक्तों द्वारा गणपति के रथ को उस स्थान तक खींचा जाता है जहां वे गणपति का विसर्जन करते हैं। यह परंपरा 1785 से चली आ रही है। पहले रथ सागौन की लकड़ी से बना था, जो काफी भारी था अब लोहे से बने रथ का उपयोग किया जाता है।

History

Parshuram Bhau Patwardhan Nana Saheb was the Sarsenapati of the Peshwa who founded the Tasgaon Institute. Raje Parshuram fought more than 100 wars against Tipu Sultan in South India. At that time Tipu Sultan was greatly influenced by the temples of South India and the culture of his worship.

Design

The construction of the temple of Ganapati was started in 1779 by Parasurambhau Patwardhan and completed in 1799 by his son Appa Patwardhan. This construction was done by people of Hindu-Vadar caste. Its architectural art is similar to South Indian temple construction.

Festival

The next day of Bhadrapada Chaturthi is a big celebration in the city. Thousands of people gather to celebrate this auspicious occasion. This festival is a cultural and religious event that helps to unite people together. Ganpati stays here for one and a half days. The procession begins in the afternoon for the immersion of Ganapati. A 30-foot chariot is specially decorated for the occasion. The chariot of Ganapati is drawn by the devotees to the place where they immerse Ganapati. This tradition has been going on since 1785. Earlier the chariot was made of teak wood, which was quite heavy, now a chariot made of iron is used.
