दिलवाड़ा मंदिर (Dilwara Temple)

 संगमरमर से आश्चर्यजनक रूप से शिल्पकारी द्वारा माउंट आबू राजस्थान के दिलवाड़ा जैन मंदिर बनाए गए हैं, जो विभिन्न जैन तीर्थंकरों के मठ हैं। दिलवाड़ा या देलवाड़ा मंदिर 5 मंदिरों का एक समूह है, जो राजस्थान के सिरोही जिले के माउंट आबू नगर में स्थित है। इन मंदिरों का निर्माण 11 से 13 वीं शताब्दी के बीच हुआ था। यह शानदार मंदिर जैन धर्म के तीर्थंकरों को समर्पित है। दिलवाड़ा के मंदिर और मूर्तियां मंदिर निर्माण कला का उत्तम उदाहरण हैं। दिलवाड़ा जैन मंदिर परिसर में लगभग 5 मंदिर संगमरमर की हैं।

दिलवाड़ा मंदिर का इतिहास

इन मंदिरों का निर्माण 11वीं और 13वीं शताब्दी के दौरान राजा वस्तुपाल तथा तेजपाल नामक दो भाइयों ने करवाया था। दिलवाड़ा के मंदिरों में 'विमल वासाही मंदिर' प्रथम तीर्थंकर को समर्पित सर्वाधिक प्राचीन है, जो 1031 में बना था। 22वें तीर्थंकर 'नेमिनाथ' को समर्पित 'लुन वासाही मंदिर' भी काफी लोकप्रिय है। इन मंदिरों की अद्भुत कारीगरी देखने योग्य है। अपने ऐतिहासिक महत्व और संगमरमर पत्थरों पर बारीक नक्काशी की जादूगरी के लिए पहचाने जाने वाले राज्य के सिरोही जिले के इन विश्व विख्यात मंदिरों में शिल्प सौंदर्य का ऐसा शानदार बेजोड़ खजाना है जिसे दुनिया में और कहीं नहीं देखा जा सकता।

इस मंदिर में आदिनाथ की मूर्ति की आंखे असली हीरे की बनी हैं तथा इनके गले में बहुमूल्य रत्नों का हार है।इन मंदिरों में तीर्थंकर के साथ-साथ हिंदू देवी-देवताओं की प्रतिमाएं भी स्थापित की गई हैं। मंदिरों का एक उत्कृष्ट प्रवेश द्वार है जो जैन मूल्य जैसे इमानदारी और मितव्ययिता को दर्शाती है।

विमल वासाही मंदिर -

 सफेद संगमरमर से पूर्ण रूप से तराशा गया यह मंदिर गुजरात के चालुक्य राजा भीम प्रथम के मंत्री विमल शाह द्वारा 1031 में बनाया गया था। यह मंदिर जैन तीर्थंकर आदिनाथ को समर्पित है। यह मंदिर एक गलियारे से घिरे हुए खुले आंगन में स्थित है जिसमें तीर्थंकरों की छोटी-छोटी मूर्तियां  हैं।

   समृद्ध पच्चकारी वाले गलियारे, खंबे, मेहराबों और मंडप या मंदिर के पोर्टिको को यहां आश्चर्यजनक रूप से देखा जा सकता है। छतों पर कमल-कलियों, पंखुड़िकावों, फूलों और जैन पुराणों के दृश्यों की नक्काशियां उत्कीर्ण हैं। गुडा मंडप मंदिर का एक मुख्य आकर्षण है जिसमें आदिनाथ की कई छवियां उकेरी गई हैं।

लुना वासाही मंदिर -

लुना वासाही मंदिर भगवान नेमिनाथ को समर्पित है ।इस भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण 1230 में दो भाइयों वस्तुपाल और तेजपाल ने किया था जो गुजरात के वाहेला के शासक थे। विमल वसीय के मंदिर के बाद उनके दिवंगत भाई लूना के स्मरण में इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया।

      मंदिर के मुख्य हाल जिसे रंग मंडप कहा जाता है, में 360 तीर्थंकरों के छोटे-छोटे मूर्तियों के लिए जाना जाता है। इस मंदिर के हाथीसाला या हाथी कक्ष की विशेषता है कि 10 सुंदर संगमरमर के हाथियों पर बड़ी बारीकी से पालिश करके उन्हें वास्तविक रूप दिया गया है।

       गुडा मंडप में 22वें तीर्थंकर नेमिनाथ की काली संगमरमर की मूर्ति है। मंदिर के बाएं ओर एक बड़ा काला कीर्तिस्तंभ स्थित है, जिसे मेवाड़ के महाराणा कुंभ ने बनवाया था।

पित्तल हार मंदिर -

यह मंदिर अहमदाबाद के सुल्तान दादा के मंत्री भीम शाह ने बनवाया था। प्रथम तीर्थंकर ऋषभदेव (आदिनाथ) की विशाल धातु प्रतिमा, जो पांच धातुओं से ढाली गई है, स्थापित की गई है।

        इस प्रतिमा के निर्माण में मूल धातुओं का प्रयोग किया गया है, अतः इसका नाम पित्तल हार है। इस मंदिर में मुख्य गर्भ गृह, गुड मंडप और नव चौक है। मंदिर में स्थित शिलालेख के अनुसार 1468-69 ईस्वी में 108 मुंडो (4 मीट्रिक टन) वजनी मूर्ति प्रतिष्ठित की गई थी।

श्री पार्श्वनाथ मंदिर -

भगवान पार्श्वनाथ को समर्पित यह मंदिर मांडलिक तथा उसके परिवार द्वारा 1458-59 में बनाया गया था। भगवान पार्श्वनाथ जैन धर्म के 23वें तीर्थंकर थे। यह एक तीन मंजिला इमारत है जो दिलवाड़ा के सभी मंदिरों में सबसे ऊंची है।

        गर्भ ग्रह के चारों मुखों पर भूतल पर चारों विशाल मंडप है। मंदिर के बाहरी दीवारों पर ग्रे बलुआ पत्थर में सुंदर शिल्पाकृतियां हैं, जींद में दीक्षित विधा देवियां, यक्ष शब्दांजियो और अन्य सजावटी शिल्पांकन शामिल है, जो खजुराहो और कोर्णाक मंदिर की तुलना में दिखते हैं।

श्री महावीर स्वामी मंदिर  -

श्री महावीर स्वामी जैन धर्म के 24वें तीर्थंकर थे। यह मंदिरों , 1852 में बनी एक छोटी सी संरचना है, जो भगवान महावीर को समर्पित है। छोटा होने के कारण यह दीवारों पर नक्काशी से युक्त अद्भुत मंदिर है। इस मंदिर के ऊपरी दीवारों पर सिरोही के कलाकारों द्वारा 1764 में चित्रित किया गया है।

 हर साल धार्मिक महत्व के इस तीर्थ यात्रा पर हजारों श्रद्धालु आते हैं। यह प्राचीन मंदिर अपने आकर्षण से पर्यटकों को भी आकर्षित करता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि जो कारीगर संगमरमर का काम पूरा करते थे उन्हें एकत्र किए गए धूल के बराबर सोना दिया जाता था, जिससे वे अधिक परिष्कृत डिजाइन तैयार करते थे।

उत्कृष्ट रूप से उत्कीर्णित यह मंदिर राजस्थान के सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय आकर्षण में से एक हैं। इन मंदिरों की असाधारण शिल्पकारिता और वास्तु कला की समान रूप से सराहना की जाती है।

Dilwara Temple

 Wonderfully crafted from marble, Dil Abu Jain temples of Mount Abu Rajasthan are built, which are the monasteries of various Jain Tirthankaras. Dilwara or Delwara temple is a group of 5 temples, located in Mount Abu Nagar in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. These temples were built between the 11th and 13th centuries. This magnificent temple is dedicated to the Tirthankaras of Jainism. The temples and sculptures of Dilwara are excellent examples of temple building art. There are about 5 marble temples in the Dilwara Jain temple complex.

 History of Dilwara Temple

 These temples were built during the 11th and 13th centuries by two brothers named Raja Vastupala and Tejpal. Among the temples of Dilwara, 'Vimal Vasahi Temple' is the oldest dedicated to the first Tirthankara, which was built in 1031. The 'Lun Vasahi Temple' dedicated to the 22nd Tirthankara 'Neminath' is also quite popular. The amazing workmanship of these temples is worth seeing. Known for its historical significance and the magic of intricate carving on marble stones, these world-famous temples of Sirohi district of the state have such a unique wealth of craft beauty that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.

 The temple has eyes of Adinath idol made of real diamonds and a necklace of precious gems around their neck. Statues of Hindu deities along with Tirthankaras are installed in these temples. The temples have an excellent entrance that reflects Jain values ​​such as honesty and frugality.

 Vimal Vasahi Temple -

 Completely carved with white marble, this temple was built in 1031 by Vimal Shah, a minister of Bhim I, the Chalukya king of Gujarat. This temple is dedicated to Jain Tirthankara Adinath. The temple is situated in an open courtyard surrounded by a corridor with small statues of Tirthankaras.

 The richly carved corridors, pillars, arches and pavilions or porticos of the temple can be amazingly seen here. Carvings of lotus-buds, petals, flowers and scenes from Jain Puranas are engraved on the roofs. The Guda Mandap is a main attraction of the temple with several images of Adinath engraved.

 Luna Vasahi Temple -

 The Luna Vasahi temple is dedicated to Lord Neminath. This grand temple was built in 1230 by two brothers Vastupala and Tejpal who were the rulers of Wahela in Gujarat. The temple was built in memory of Vimal Wasiya's temple after his late brother Luna.

 The main hall of the temple, known as the Rang Mandap, is known for its small sculptures of 360 Tirthankaras. The specialty of the Hathisala or elephant chamber of this temple is that 10 beautiful marble elephants are polished very closely to give them a real look.

 The Guda mandapa has a black marble statue of the 22nd Tirthankara Neminath. A large black kirtistambha is situated on the left side of the temple, which was built by Maharana Kumbh of Mewar.

 Pittal Haar Temple -

 This temple was built by Bhim Shah, the minister of Sultan Dada of Ahmedabad. A huge metal statue of the first Tirthankara Rishabhdev (Adinath), molded from five metals, has been installed.

 Basic metals have been used in the construction of this statue, hence its name is Pittal Haar. The temple houses the main sanctum sanctorum, the Good Mandap and the Nav Chowk. According to the inscription located in the temple, the statue weighing 108 Mundo (4 MT) was revered in 1468-69 AD.

 Shri Parshwanath Temple -

 This temple dedicated to Lord Parshvanath was built by Mandalik and his family in 1458-59. Lord Parshvanath was the 23rd Tirthankara of Jainism. It is a three-storey building which is the tallest of all the temples of Dilwara.

 There are four huge pavilions on the ground floor on the four faces of the womb planet. On the outer walls of the temple are beautiful sculptures in gray sandstone, the Dixit tradition in Jind, the goddesses, the Yaksha Shabdanjis and other ornamental artifacts, resembling those of the Khajuraho and Kornak temples.

 Sri Mahavir Swami Temple -

 Sri Mahavir Swami was the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. This temple is a small structure built in 1852, dedicated to Lord Mahavira. Being small, it is a wonderful temple with carvings on the walls. The upper walls of this temple are painted in 1764 by the artists of Sirohi.

 Thousands of devotees visit this pilgrimage of religious importance every year. This ancient temple also attracts tourists with its charm. It is believed that the artisans who completed the marble work were given gold equivalent to the dust collected, which led to more sophisticated designs.

 This exquisitely carved temple is one of the most popular attractions of Rajasthan. The extraordinary craftsmanship and architectural art of these temples are equally appreciated.
