इतवार 

उम्मीद हमें छोड़कर कहीं नहीं जाती..

जल्दबाजी में हमलोग ही उसे छोड़ देते हैं ..

        बचपन 

वह बचपन ही था

जहां कहानियां सच्ची सी लगती थी

और सच कहानियों सा लगता था

हर दिन नया सा होता था

हर शाम मस्तानी सी होती थी

ना जिक्र थकान का होता था

ना फिक्र कल की होती थी

ना तपती धूप चुभती थी

ना कड़कड़ाती ठंड का होश होता था

क्या बदल गया इतने सालों में

कहां छुप गया वह बचपन बहानों में

क्यों हंसी का कारण ढूंढते हुए

हर संघर्ष का फसाना अपना सा लगता है

जिंदगी के झूले पर फिसल रहे आज भी

पर हाथ छोड़ने में अब जाने क्यों डर सा लगता है!!

एक वक्त था जब हम सोचते थे 

हमारा भी वक्त आएगा ..

और एक ये वक्त है कि हम सोचते हैं 

कि वो भी क्या वक्त था ...
